Now are the Sons of God Made Manifest

As Preached at Restored Word Fellowship in Edmonton on January 10th, 2018.

1 Peter 4: 17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

Judgment begins at the House of God. Judgement begins right here, right now. It begins with us. We are judged by this Word of God. We can deny it all we want, but we cannot hide from it. There is nothing that we can hide from the Lord God. You can hide from me, or from your Pastor, or even from a Prophet, but you ain’t going to hide nothing from the Lord God. In fact, the thing that you are going to try to hide tomorrow, he already knows about it today.

Hebrews 4: 12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

The Word of God reveals. It cuts through the lies, cuts through deception, cuts through unbelief, and cuts through hypocrisy. The Word of God cuts through your religion, your creeds, your dogmas, your traditions, your cultures. It cuts through philosophy, psychology and sociology. The Word of God cuts right to the depths of our heart and soul.

Many times, I find, and I am sure you do too, that when you bring the Revealed Word of God to a sinner, they say that you are hateful and are condemning them. But I am not, and neither are you. So why would they feel that way?

When we hear the Word of God, we either accept it, or we reject it. If we accept it, then that Word will set us free and justify us in whatever it speaks. If we were liars and we heard the Word of God about lying, and we accept it and repent, then that Word justifies us. But if we reject the Word, then our own hearts are condemning us.

1 John 3: 20 For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things. 21 Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.

If we feel condemned when we hear the Word of God, the Message of the Hour, then it is not the preacher, it is not even the Word, it is our very own hearts that are condemning us. Just as Cain, who was condemned by the very existence of Abel, and hated him for it, we will hate the person speaking. We will think they hate us, and that they are attacking us, unfairly of course, because we are right and they are hateful condemners. We will them immediately tell them to “not judge lest they be judged”.

I don’t know your sins, nor do I want to. So, if you think I am condemning you, or your Pastor up here every Sunday is condemning you, then you are sadly mistaken. But if the Word I bring sounds hateful and condemning to your ears, then Brother, Sister, search yourselves for the Word I am bringing is not my words, but the Message of the Hour, the Revealed Word of God, and that condemnation you feel is coming from your very own heart.

That is why the people rejected Jesus and had him murdered. That is why the denominations hated the Prophet in our day. That is why the world will hate you. Absolutely it will, if you are living this Word of God, if you are born again. If you are born again and filled with the Holy Spirit, your very presence, without speaking a word, will make the hearts of the people condemn themselves. You will walk into a room, and they will feel it, and they will hate it.

They will hate the presence of God!

1 John 3: 12 Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother’s righteous. 13 Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.

The world will hate you for your testimony, for your life, for your words, for the Spirit of the Lord Jesus Christ that dwells inside you.

Then there is another little door just—just, it’s right around the corner, is another little door, and that’s the door of selfishness: “I’ll let you in, Lord. I’ll join Your church,” and then, “just to see what I can get out of it.”

And sometimes that gets into preachers. And you know, they say, “Sure, I’ll be a minister, if everybody pat me on the back, and say, ‘You’re a good fellow.’” If everybody patted me on the back, and said I was a good fellow, I’d get to the altar just, quick as I could.

Hmm. I know there’d be something wrong, ’cause the Bible said, “Woe unto you, when all men speak well of you!” See. The world knows its own; the world will hate you. But God will love you.

The world will hate you, and love their own. How many message preachers have congregations of 10,000 people here in North American? How many even a thousand? The world hates it, hates the message, hates Jesus, hates his word, hates the truth, and hates them.

Look up any worldly preacher online and you will see thousands of pages promoting them and praising them. Look up William Branham and page after page after page of character assassinations. They write the most despicably evil lies about him. They attack him for every little thing, every off word, every slight of grammar, ever verbal stumble. They attack him for his lineage. They attack him for his education. They attack him for everything. Why? Because his very existence makes their own hearts condemn them.

The Manifested Sons and Daughters of God will be hated, rejected, persecuted, insulted, attacked, gossiped about, slandered and libeled by the world. And that same world will lift up and worship the devils.

Verily they are calling now for Oprah Winfrey to run for President!

Give Us Barabbas!

That cry never ceased. Let this rest in your hearts, and don’t be offended by the world, by their insults, accusations, attacks, hatred. It must be. It will be.

2 Timothy 3: 12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

Let not your hearts be troubled. This will happen. It is ordained to be. Just as Esau persecuted Jacob, Ishmael persecuted Isaac, Cain persecuted Abel, Judas persecuted Jesus, Alexander persecuted Paul. They will be against you, and there is nothing you can do to stop it. Don’t fight it. Don’t attack back. That is not the manifestation of the Sons of God.

Romans 12: 14 Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.

We are the Sons and Daughters of God! It is not enough to be children of God. The Lord Jesus Christ is not taking a child bride. He is marrying a mature woman, and elect Lady.

We must Grow Up!

We are ridiculously immature for the day and hour that we are living. We are children and need to grow up to be Sons and Daughters of God. We are weak and soft in this hour.

Get Weened Bride! Sink your teeth into a nice juicy steak in the Message!

We will never grow up if the only food we get is in Church. We will Fail to Thrive! We have to eat every day, and several times a day. You take a child and you feed him two meals on Sunday and one on Wednesday night and see how he grows. Now image the child who only comes for one meal a week and then sleeps through half of it.

Starvation! You will never grow like that. You will wither and die. You will be powerless to live a Godly life, and they when you do show up to a service, your own heart will condemn you when hearing the Word of God.

Amos 8: 11 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord God, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord:

The famine is not one of not preaching the Word of God, but of not HEARING the Word of God. Nobody comes to hear, and when they come, they still don’t hear. Jesus said to the people:

John 8: 43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.

That is the case today. People do not understand this Message of the Hour because they cannot hear it. There is a famine of HEARING the Word of God, even in the Message Ranks. It is preached, and preached by the Spirit of God, but it is not HEARD! The hearts of the people are not prepared to receive it.

We do not feed at home. We do not listen to the tapes. We do not read the Bible. We don’t have a family altar. We don’t testify. We don’t live what we hear. We spend less time praying every day than we spend brushing our teeth!

We come in to this building that the Lord God gave us through his grace and mercy, and we hear amazing sermons by the Pastor and Brother Steve, then go out and forget it. We hear it, but we do not HEAR it! We do not apply that Word to our lives. We do not let that Word change us. Like looking in a mirror, the Bible says, then straightway forget what we just saw.

Then we wonder why we have no victory. We wonder why God does not answer our prayers. And we turn around and blame the Ministry.

Foolish Virgins!

Then we show up, and the Word of God is brought, and we fight it. We say “why is he picking on me?”. He ain’t picking on you Brother, your own heart is doing that. AMEN?

We Need to Grow Up! We need to be the Manifested Sons and Daughters of God!

Hebrews 5: 12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. 13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. 14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

You cannot send a baby to war. You need trained soldiers without fear. They need to be armed. They need experience on the battlefield. Gideon started out with thirty thousand men. But most were of no value to him. They were not warriors, they were not fighters. They were full of fear. Thus he weeded them down until he had only 300 men left. But every one of those men was a soldier! They were equipped. They were ready for battle. They had a clear eye, and clean heart, full of strength and character.

Ephesians 6: 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

Soldiers are in uniform. We are at war! It is time to act like it. Your brother, your sister, they are fellow soldiers in the trenches with you. If you are fighting against them, you are doing the devil’s work for him. Satan wants us fussing and fighting. He wants to separate us.

Don’t work for Satan, his wages are not that good.

Your Ministry is supplying you with ammunition and food for the battle. If we are rejecting what they are ministering to us, sent to us from the Lord God, our mighty general the Lord Jesus Christ, how will we ever win? But you need more than three meals a week! You are fighting a war. How can soldiers will a war on three meals a week?

Make sure you are armed. Eat, eat, and eat, the Word of God, the Message of the Hour. Grow up! Get the whole armour of God!

Pray unceasingly for each other!

I cannot stress that enough. As Brother Jona Emke in Kelowna often says, if you are praying for someone, you won’t be talking about them. Pray, one for another.

And I think when the Church gets real cold and indifferent, God’s sheep ought to kinda huddle up together and pray for each other. And the warmth of real good Christian fellowship, oh, it means so much. David spoke of it in the first Psalm, said, “Blessed is the man that setteth not in the seat of the scornful, standeth in the way of sinners. But his delight is in the law of the Lord: and in the law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree that’s planted by the river of water, and his leaves shall not wither; whatsoever he doeth it shall prosper.”

You see, this is the Manifestation of the Sons of God. Do you see it yet? The Rapture is being held back, not necessarily for the last sheep, that person may well be in the fold, but for the Manifestation of the Sons of God.

Romans 8: 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. 15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. 18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. 19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.

All nature is sitting back, watching, waiting, moaning and groaning, waiting for the Manifestation of the Sons and Daughters of God. The sleeping Saints are waiting for the Manifestation of the Sons of God. They cannot rise until that first happens.

And when a one member would talk against the other member, you know that’s wrong. You are commanded to pray for one another, not to talk against one another, but to love one another. And if someone is down, let’s pick him up, help him. Now, that makes us a—a—a unified group of believers. Now, when we don’t obey that, then we don’t obey God and we displease God. And therefore, our church, our people cannot prosper, the church cannot go on, is because we are disunified, together. As Jesus said, “A little leaven leavens the lump.”   

1 John 3: 10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother. 11 For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.

LOVE ONE ANOTHER!

PRAY FOR ONE ANOTHER!

THAT IS THE MANIFESTATION OF THE SONS OF GOD!

John 13: 34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. 35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

By this, by your love one to another, by the Manifestation of the Sons of God, will the world know that you are the disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ. The world will hate you. The denominations will hate you. The foolish virgins may hate you. But the Bride will LOVE the Bride. The Sons and Daughters of God will love the Sons and Daughters of God.

We will pray one for another. When we show up here, we will be prayed up at home, we will not come here and pray for ourselves, we will pray for those that are here, and for those that are not.

At the Lord’s supper, the Bible tells us to tarry there for one another. We should be prayed up before we get there, then pray for each other.

The Manifestation of the Sons of God is LOVE!

Let us be the Manifested Sons of God. That also means this:

Matthew 5: 44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; 45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. 46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? 47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? 48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

This is something that you can only do with the Holy Spirit. This love is Agape. We MUST love our enemies. We must truly, deeply, with all of our heart, love our enemies. Only the Spirit filled Bride can do that. Only Sons and Daughters of God can do that; children cannot. This only comes with true maturity in the Word of God, in the Message of the Hour, in the Holy Spirit.

Love Your Enemies!

Let me tell you, just don’t join church now. That won’t work. You’ve got to be borned again. Not an emotional work-up; not some little something you said, “Well, I shouted. I spoke with tongues. I done this, that, or the other.” When really down in your heart, Something comes to change you, and you become a new creature in Christ Jesus; you received the Person, Christ Jesus; when old things die out, and new things are borned again; you make things right, that you did wrong; you love your enemies, you pray for those who despitefully use you; that’s when you’re a Christian. The tree is known by the fruit it bears.

Let us, this hour, right here, right now, be judged by the Word of God.

Let us all just grow up. Let us all become Sons and Daughters of God. Let us from this moment on, consecrate ourselves to the Lord God. Commit to reading the Bible. Commit to listening to tapes. Commit to prayer. Put on the whole armour of God. Take up our swords and our shields and go to war. Commit to Love.

Let every heart hear reconsecrate, rededicate to the Lord God. Let us renew our vows to the Heavenly Bridegroom.

Let us from THIS HOUR become the Manifested Sons and Daughters of God!

Pray one for another. The Bible says if you see someone taken in a fault, pray for them lest you be the next to fall. Pray for each other. Pray for the ministry. Pray for the musicians. Pray for the Deacons. Pray for the Trustees. Pray for the children.

Receive the Word the Lord brings. Let us not be critical of one another anymore. Pray one for another. Cry out to God and stand in the gap for your brother, for your sister. Let Jesus Christ manifest in you as it did in Moses. We are soldiers in the same trench. There is an old saying in war, that you are only as good as the man beside you. So, pray with all your heart for the man, the woman beside you.

Tonight, when we pray, let us not pray a single word for ourselves. Instead, pray for every other soul here, and for those who could not make it here. That man beside you, the woman behind you, that is the Bride of Christ, that is God’s wife, treat them as such.

Pray for them! Pour out your whole heart for them! Cry out to God for them!

Then, pray for your enemies! Pray for those who hate you. Pray for those who despitefully use you, who gossip about you, who insult you. Maybe they stole from you. Maybe they hurt you physically. Perhaps you were, or are, being bullied by somebody.  Pray for their salvation, their healing, their deliverance.

Pray, with all your heart for them! We heard earlier that hatred is of the world, of the devil. The devil hates, Christians Love. Let Jesus Christ Manifest in you tonight!
Be the Manifested the Sons and Daughters of God in His Holy Presence!

 

Flee from Idolatry

1 Corinthians 10: 14 Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry.

Anything and everything that comes before the Word of God in our lives is an idol. Whether it be our family, our friends, our job, our pastor, our culture, our traditions, if it stands between us and the Lord God, if it is more important to us than the Word of God, it is an idol.

If we are afraid to bow our heads and pray over our food in a restaurant, at work, around certain friends or family, then we have an idol. If we are afraid to stand on the word because we don’t want to offend somebody, we have an idol. Something there is more important to us than the Lord Jesus Christ, and in our lives we are denying Him.

We can come to church, pray, sing, preach, testify, fellowship. We can say “amen” and pray like a thunder storm, but if there is anything in our lives that take precedent over the Revealed Word of God, over the name of Jesus Christ, then we have an idol.

The Bride of Christ will NEVER have an idol! Here is why.

Luke 14: 16 Then said he unto him, A certain man made a great supper, and bade many: 17 And sent his servant at supper time to say to them that were bidden, Come; for all things are now ready. 18 And they all with one consent began to make excuse. The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must needs go and see it: I pray thee have me excused. 19 And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them: I pray thee have me excused.

Everyone here in this example had an excuse. Each one had been invited. The Lord had sent his servants, the Five Fold Ministry to them to invite them to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. He sent the Prophet Messenger to EVERY DENOMINATION to invite them to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. God’s vindicated Prophet walked the earth for decades screaming to all who would hear. They rejected him! They pushed him out! They insulted him. They attacked him. Even today they are still assassinating his character globally on the internet. They never came to the feast, they never came to the wedding. They never will.

We have all been invited to the wedding, and not just as guests, but as the Bride! You have been invited to marry the Lord Jesus Christ. That is the new birth. When we receive his Holy Spirit, that is the consummation. He is putting his Word Seed in the Womb of your heart.

If you are born again, not only are you already married to Him, you are impregnated with His seed!

So, then Bride of Christ, Children of the Most High God, Sons and Daughters of God, why do we still skip Church? Why do we not testify of the Lord to every person we know? If I look on your Facebook page, will I see the Word of God, the Message of the Hour, testimonies of the Lord, or will I see pictures of puppies and cake recipes? Nothing wrong with those things, but where is God?

How about “Praise and Glory to the Lord Jesus Christ for he blessed me with this cake recipe and blessed my hands to bake it and it came out delicious as we fellowshipped around the Revealed Word of God with the Saints of the Living God”? That is how you announce a cake recipe!

Put him into everything you do, and place him at the center of it all. That is where he belongs! He is your Bride Groom. He is your LORD!

Yet we fail. We do we not put away our traditions or culture? We do not put away the world from us. We hang onto creeds. We have made idols of them.

Luke 14: 26 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. 27 And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple. 28 For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it? 29 Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him, 30 Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish. 31 Or what king, going to make war against another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand? 32 Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an ambassage, and desireth conditions of peace. 33 So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.

Oh, I cannot do that, my parents will disown me. I cannot say those things, as my family will cast me out. I cannot dress like that as my people will persecute me.

Let them!

Good riddance!

Anyone who will be against you for the Word of God’s sake, for your testimony, for a godly life, you are better off without. Let them go if they want to go. But you are better off alone, poor, cold, miserable, hated, forgotten, cast off, on earth in this life and reigning with the Lord Jesus Christ in Heaven, then popular and loved in a crowd on earth, and miserable and alone in hell.

Your worldly best friend will be in hell with you, but you won’t be sitting around chatting. They will be too busy weeping and wailing and gnashing their teeth, and hating you because you failed to testify to them of the grace and mercy of the Lord Jesus Christ that could have saved them from this.

You knew, and you said nothing! You were in a position to warn them as they were on the road to hell, but you clung to that idol that you made and you simply smiled, patted them on the back, and held the door to Hell open for them. And you told yourself that you loved them.

You murdered them with your Apathy, Selfishness and Idolatry!

Lord Jesus, please, let that not even once be named among us here!

1 Corinthians 3: 16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? 17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

You are the Temple of the Living God.

You, sitting here, you meat bag that you are, You are the Holy Temple of the Living God. The Creator of Heaven and Earth, dwells in that meat bag, or at least wants too if you will let him.

There is nobody in this building, nobody hearing this message that is not called for eternal life, else you would not be here. So the very God of Heaven, the Lord Jesus Christ, has called YOU to be his Temple, and his Bride.

Think of it! Get the Revelation!        BRIDE OF CHRIST!

You are called. You are Justified in baptism. You are sanctified by his blood. You are made HOLY with him through his indwelling spirit. YOU!

Of the Seven and a half Billion people on earth, the Lord God chose you, and you had nothing to do with it. You were Elected from all the earth. You are his Bride, the Queen of both Heaven and Earth. The world should bow to you as you pass, and indeed one day they will.

1 John 4: 17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.

He is she. She is he. The Bride is flesh of His flesh, bone of His bone, life of His life, and as HE IS (I AM) so is She (YOU ARE) in this world. When you walk down the street, the Lord Jesus Christ is walking down the street. When you sit in a chair, Jesus Christ is sitting in that chair. He is she, she is he. I AM = YOU ARE.

He is you! You are He! You are ONE!

Oh! Bride of Christ get the Revelation of who You are!

It’s manifesting time,
the Fruit is on the Vine, (that’s you)
and the Lovely One is coming in plain view (Jesus Christ has been Revealed!)

To cap God’s chosen Bride, (YOU)

Redemption draweth nigh,

He’s that lovely One,

He’s coming in plain view.

Can you see him Bride? Can you see Him? He is you!

Flee from Idolatry!

2 Corinthians 6: 14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. 18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

You are the true Queen of Heaven and Earth! What part had an infidel with you? What do you really have to talk about with them? How can you be partnered up with them? Business. Marriage. They are in the chicken coup, which is where they belong, and simply can never leave.

You are God’s Eagles! Spread your wings and fly to the Heavens with the Lord where you belong. You were not created for this world. You were created in spite of this world.

The cultures are chicken cultures. The traditions are chicken traditions. The fashions are chicken feathers. The dogmas, creeds, denominations are chicken food. It’s unclean! The chicken food lies in the dirt with the chicken poop. You’ll choke to death eating that stuff.

Eagles need fresh meat! Wheresoever the body is, there, THERE will the Eagles be gathered together.

How can a bird who can’t fly expect to be Raptured. They get a few inches off the ground and they get scared. A bit of worship and praise, a few gifts, some speaking in tongues, a healing or two and they go to running. They don’t understand it. It is too high for them. The Eagles are Raptured.

Gather with God’s Eagles and soar!

But one buys some oxen, a new car, a new house, a new business, and they are more important. One gets married and he needs to tend to his new wife instead of tending to the Lord. She maybe don’t like all this Holy Roller foolishness. One has a new job and can’t afford to offend his new boss.

Your boss is a chicken!

Your wife is a chicken!

You are an EAGLE!

James 4: Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

Friendship with the world is enmity against God!

Does that mean you cannot have friends that are in the world? NO! We are in the world, but not of it. We are to testify to them to seek out the lost sheep. If we are OF the world, if we love the world or the things of the world, then the Love of God is not in us. We are busy with the Ox and the wife and the job. We love the world. We refused the Marriage. We refused his seed!

It is adultery! Why do you suppose James wrote it that way. “Ye adulterers and adulteresses”. Friendship of the world is adultery against your Groom.

We cannot be married to Jesus Christ and flirting with Satan!

We put on those fashions and we are committing adultery. Tight clothes. Nail polish. Cosmetics. All that flash and glitter. Adultery! When you accept those dogmas and creeds, the Doctrines of Balaam, you are accepting an adulterers seed into the womb of your heart. When we cling to our cultures and traditions, we are committing adultery!

Those aren’t our cultures anymore. That man is dead and buried in Christ. We belong to a new culture, to a new nation now. We are Citizens of Heaven! We have a Heavenly Culture, a Heavenly Tradition. But many “in the message”, many so called Christians, have not received the seed of God. They have the adulterous seed.

Ezekiel 8: Then said he unto me, Son of man, lift up thine eyes now the way toward the north. So I lifted up mine eyes the way toward the north, and behold northward at the gate of the altar this image of jealousy in the entry. He said furthermore unto me, Son of man, seest thou what they do? even the great abominations that the house of Israel committeth here, that I should go far off from my sanctuary? but turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations. And he brought me to the door of the court; and when I looked, behold a hole in the wall. Then said he unto me, Son of man, dig now in the wall: and when I had digged in the wall, behold a door. And he said unto me, Go in, and behold the wicked abominations that they do here. 10 So I went in and saw; and behold every form of creeping things, and abominable beasts, and all the idols of the house of Israel, pourtrayed upon the wall round about. 11 And there stood before them seventy men of the ancients of the house of Israel, and in the midst of them stood Jaazaniah the son of Shaphan, with every man his censer in his hand; and a thick cloud of incense went up. 12 Then said he unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen what the ancients of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the chambers of his imagery? for they say, the Lord seeth us not; the Lord hath forsaken the earth. 13 He said also unto me, Turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations that they do. 14 Then he brought me to the door of the gate of the Lord’s house which was toward the north; and, behold, there sat women weeping for Tammuz. 15 Then said he unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations than these. 16 And he brought me into the inner court of the Lord’s house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of the Lord, between the porch and the altar, were about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the Lord, and their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the sun toward the east. 17 Then he said unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? Is it a light thing to the house of Judah that they commit the abominations which they commit here? for they have filled the land with violence, and have returned to provoke me to anger: and, lo, they put the branch to their nose. 18 Therefore will I also deal in fury: mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: and though they cry in mine ears with a loud voice, yet will I not hear them.

In the inner courts. Between the Altar and the Porch. They worship BAAL! That Jezebel Religion right in the midst of Israel, right in the middle of the Message!

 They have received of the Mark of the Beast!

In the Message today. People are rejecting God’s message, interpreting it, changing it, dismissing it, miss-quoting it, maligning it. And they are receiving a false message, a false doctrine, a false seed, and adulterous antichrist seed.

There must be a great falling away, then the man of sin will be revealed!

It is happening today!

1 Corinthians 1: 10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. 11 For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you. 12 Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ. 13 Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?

Be of Christ! He is your groom. Who are you married too? Brother Byskal or Jesus Christ? Brother Branham, or Jesus Christ? Whose seed have you received? Who is going to rapture you? Who died for you? Whose blood cleansed you? Whose burial garments are your wedding garments?

We are espoused to Christ! We are wed to him this hour if we are born again.

Flee idolatry. Flee adultery.

Ezekiel 6: And they that escape of you shall remember me among the nations whither they shall be carried captives, because I am broken with their whorish heart, which hath departed from me, and with their eyes, which go a whoring after their idols: and they shall loathe themselves for the evils which they have committed in all their abominations.

Idolatry is Adultery! They went whoring after idols. Have not all the denominations done that today? Starting with the Catholics, through the Pentecostals and to the Evangelicals of this day; they are the worst of all.

They have rejected the Message of the Hour. They have rejected the Holy Spirit. They have rejected the Groom. They have rejected his Seed. Their “whorish hearts” have gone after the idols of silver and gold: MONEY!

They have all sold out for money, sold out for “filthy Lucre”.

Revelation 17: 1 And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters: With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.

She is a “whore”. The Church is the Bride of Jesus Christ. A false Bride who operates for money is a prostitute, a whore. The Catholic Church is the first and biggest, and richest whore of them all, and is the mother of all of them.

The kings commit fornication with her because they are not Bride material. There is no vow, it is not adultery to them for they have no Groom. They commit fornication and the people of the world, without Christ, go right in with them, all for money. They are drunk on it; drunk on the spirit of antichrist.

60-1207 – The Pergamean Church Age – William Branham

“I’ll show thee the judgment of the great whore.” Now, if she was that, then she was a woman professing to be something that…She was committing adultery! Is that right? Well, then, if it was a church, she was committing adultery against God. Is that right? Then adultery, would be fornications, spiritual fornications: she’s teaching something to the people that’s not God’s Word. Is that right? She’s teaching something that isn’t true. That’s the Nicolaitanes. See it coming here? Going about putting popes, and priests, and taking the Holy Spirit out, “Days of miracles is past”; and the Bible said, “Jesus Christ the same yesterday and forever.” The Bible said, “Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins”; she says, “Father, Son, and Holy Ghost,” sprinkle, pour around. Oh, my! See?
And it is creeping into the Message, subtly. I have seen Halloween parties in so called Message Churches. Christmas trees even. We’ll get to that.

Jeremiah 3: 8 And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also.

Israel was put away. She could have been the Bride, but before the Groom, the Lord Jesus Christ could come to her, she had already gone off into idolatry, adultery. She compromised her vows. And God put her away for it. He gave her the bill of divorce.

How about the Gentile Churches today? The Catholic Church was born in adultery.

Then God sent Luther to bring the people out, but before God could perfect them, they went straight back whoring into idolatry, into adultery. The Lutheran Church broke their vows to Christ and he gave them the bill of divorce.

Then God sent Wesley. He brought sanctification, but before they could receive Christ in his fulness, they turned back into spiritual adultery like their momma Rome, organized and God put them away! He divorced them too.

Then he sent the gifts at Azusa Street. Then He sent a Word Prophet, fulfilling Malachi 4:5-6 and Revelation 10:7 with the spirit of Elijah to bring the Word Seed. He got to the Bride before she could be adulterated. But it is not the Pentecostal Church. She was just the Bride’s Maid! She was already adulterated by the time the Prophet got to the Bride.

But the Bride was a Virgin!

No man, no organization, no devil got to her. She was pure! She is Pure Today! You are the pure Virgin Bride of the Lord Jesus Christ and he sent his Prophet to call you to the Wedding Supper and you came.

He married you and put His Word Seed in the womb of your heart and Sealed it!

When the Lord God filled you with his Holy Spirit, when you were born again, you were sealed and no devil’s lie can ever get to you again.

You are called and chosen, the Elect Lady.

When Eve went away from the Word, she went away from her mate. And when the church goes away from the Word, to a denomination, she rejects and commits fornications with the world of man’s wisdom, rejecting the authority of God’s Word. That sound clear? [Congregation says, “Amen.”—Ed.] The Bible said, “Committing spiritual fornications.” Any Word in the Bible, that’s rejected, or if any self-interpretation put to It, it’s absolutely rejecting and committing adultery against the God that is your Husband. An adulteress never enters the Kingdom of Heaven, we know that. See? Now, see, that’s what Eve done at the first place.

The denominations have all done it. They ALL adulterated. They are all gathered back to Momma Rome in the World Council of Churches, the Image of the Beast. The political world, the secular world has done it. They just voted in the United Nations against Jerusalem. That is critical. Zechariah 12 says that the Lord is going to gather all Nations against Jerusalem, not against Israel, against Jerusalem so that he can judge them all at once.

This week in the United Nations, 128 Nations gathered against Jerusalem, and 128 Nations were judged. And it happened on December 21st, the Sun god’s birthday.

They committed fornication with the Woman on the Beast!

They received the Antichrist seed from Rome!

Do not ever let anybody tell you that the Denominations are the Foolish Virgins. They are NOT virgins. They have committed adultery, every single one of them is adulterous. Their very names testify that they are adulterous. If you were to marry me and take another man’s name, are you really my wife? They have “blasphemous names”. They are in adultery, have received the seed of antichrist, and the wombs of their hearts have been sealed off by it! Forever!

The Bride of Christ is Sealed by the Holy Spirit!

The Denominations are Sealed by the Mark of the Beast!

Jeremiah 23: 14 I have seen also in the prophets of Jerusalem an horrible thing: they commit adultery, and walk in lies: they strengthen also the hands of evildoers, that none doth return from his wickedness; they are all of them unto me as Sodom, and the inhabitants thereof as Gomorrah.

Notice here who the prophet is speaking of. He says “Prophets of Jerusalem”. What is that today? Message Preachers! They are committing Spiritual Adultery and walking in lies. The are adulteresses. They are like Sodom!

Not only adulterers, but in adultery with one another! Sodomites!

They are inventing their own lies, their own dogmas, and sharing it among each other. That is why there are so many foolish virgins. They come to the Lord, they repent and get baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. They get cleaned up and sanctified even. But they are being fed adulterous lies, and are never led into the fullness of Christ. They get the wrong seed, a seed of spiritual Sodom, a man made creed with no life in it.

Flee from Idolatry!

And, for, this is nearly twenty something years I’ve stood right here and asked any minister, at anytime, to come and take…not your textbook, your creed, but come take the Bible, in the Light of the Bible, and prove It wrong. Brothers. Sisters. This is not my ideas here. This is Thus Saith the Lord! This is straight from the mouth of a vindicated Prophet of God, the seventh messenger. This is the Spirit of Elijah speaking to you. Hear Ye Him!

And what is it spoke of here in the church? The spiritual adultery, that you profess to be a “Christian” and still living like the world.

Oh, brother, receive ye the Holy Ghost! Get away from these old creeds and things you…they’re dead; recite the Apostles’ Creed, or some kind of a creed, and say a few prayers wrote out of a prayer book, or something like that. Jesus never did tell His people to say a prayer, He said, “Pray!” Pray! All right.

All heathens celebrated it, the sun-god’s birthday. The sun-god’s birthday was the shortest day in the year, December the 21st. And then anyone that ever read the history of the churches know that heathens worshipped on that day. It was a celebration.

You got some wreaths, a nice pretty Christmas tree maybe, some lights, a blow up Santa, a few plastic reindeer on your roof. Maybe one of those fake, lying nativity scenes that shows the wise men at the birth of Jesus, in the winter, in the snow.

THAT IS ADULTERY TO GOD!

Jeremiah 10:Thus saith the Lord, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them. For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.

Learn not the way of the Heathen. It is a false seed! It is contrary to the Word of God. It is antichrist from the bottomless pit of hell. Idolatry! Adultery!

Christians do not do it, will not do it. Thus Saith the Lord! Do not do it.

If you got any of that stuff Brothers, Sisters, rip it down and burn it. It is demonic. It is pagan. It is Constantine’s Nicene Festival in your house! How can a Holy God come into a house that is full of idols? When you accept that seed into your heart, you will be sealed off from the truth, sealed off from the Holy Spirit, forever.

The Bride will not be adulterous! She is pure! She will not be deceived. Be pure! Be true unto your Groom!

You are the Queen of Heaven and Earth.

You are called for it. Everyone here is called to come out of the whore, not to partake of her sins, not to receive of her plagues. We are at the end of the end of the end. Get rapture ready!

Get Justified through repentance and water baptism in Jesus Christ’s name.

Joshua 5: And this is the cause why Joshua did circumcise: All the people that came out of Egypt, that were males, even all the men of war, died in the wilderness by the way, after they came out of Egypt. Now all the people that came out were circumcised: but all the people that were born in the wilderness by the way as they came forth out of Egypt, them they had not circumcised. For the children of Israel walked forty years in the wilderness, till all the people that were men of war, which came out of Egypt, were consumed, because they obeyed not the voice of the Lord: unto whom the Lord sware that he would not shew them the land, which the Lord sware unto their fathers that he would give us, a land that floweth with milk and honey. And their children, whom he raised up in their stead, them Joshua circumcised: for they were uncircumcised, because they had not circumcised them by the way. And it came to pass, when they had done circumcising all the people, that they abode in their places in the camp, till they were whole. And the Lord said unto Joshua, This day have I rolled away the reproach of Egypt from off you. Wherefore the name of the place is called Gilgal unto this day. 10 And the children of Israel encamped in Gilgal, and kept the passover on the fourteenth day of the month at even in the plains of Jericho. 11 And they did eat of the old corn of the land on the morrow after the passover, unleavened cakes, and parched corn in the selfsame day. 12 And the manna ceased on the morrow after they had eaten of the old corn of the land; neither had the children of Israel manna any more; but they did eat of the fruit of the land of Canaan that year.

Moses led Israel out of Egypt. There were approximately 2,000,000 of them. But in the wilderness as they traveled, we find out that the boys were not circumcised on the eighth day as required.

Now that Moses had passed the torch to Joshua, the Lord was using him to be his mouthpiece to Israel. Now as they were crossing the Jordan we find a couple of things happen.

  • He had to circumcise them.
  • The reproach of Egypt is removed.
  • The ate the Passover.
  • The manna ceased.

We had a Word Prophet as foretold to us by Malachi 4:5-6 and Revelation 10:7. He called people out of modern Egypt as well. He had a message from the Lord God just as sure as Moses’ message from God. He even had a sign in his hand. He even spoke into existence as Moses did. But the people rejected him as well. They rejected the man, they rejected the ministry, they rejected the message, and they rejected the Lord God who sent him.

The United States was judged in the 1950’s for rejecting the Message of the Hour. And just as God judged Amelek and they waited 400 years to bring the judgement to pass, so too is he waiting on America. There are born again spirit filled Christians there. The Lord won’t let a spark of fire fall until they are gone. And the Lamb Beast still has some prophesy to fulfill before she becomes smoking holes from one coast to the other. But she shall burn!

So what of the Children of the Wilderness, those who have grown since the Prophet left? What of the Promised Land?

   55-0119 – This Great Warrior, Joshua

6 Now, many people has regarded that typologist, as myself, has said that was represented after the wilderness journey, then going into glory. Now, there may be someone here that teaches it that way tonight. That wouldn’t make any difference, my brother, or sister, whatever it is. I may be wrong in my theories of it, but I never could liken the promised land to being heaven because they had wars in the promised land. I’m a millenialist. I believe that there’ll be a Millennium, a thousand years on the earth that mankind will go right back to God just as he come out from God. And I believe that the promised land represented the Millennium, the thousand years in the Millennium.

 7  If you notice, as soon as they crossed Jordan, which means separation from this earthly journey into the other land, they—the manna, which was a spiritual thing, ceased, and they eat of the old corn. They eat of the fruit of the land again. And in the Millennium… See, we are eating spiritual manna now, but will be back—won’t need spiritual manna in that time, we will eat the fruit of the vine again, and of the field, the corn. And the Bible said we would build houses and inhabit them, plant vineyards and eat the fruit of them. When we come into the Millennium, that thousand years of rest, when there’ll be wars and troubles and sickness and death will flee from the world, we will return here on this earth and be with Christ a thousand years, right here before we go into glory. That’s the teaching of the Scripture.

8  Now, see how beautiful it’s typed out. It was a type of Egypt, being settled in Egypt. Many people was left in Egypt. Now, as far as we know, Joseph was brought out, his body. But in Egypt there was to be a resurrection in Egypt, because the patriarchs, as far as we know, are buried in Egypt. Many believers were buried in Egypt.

And in the second phase of the journey in the wilderness, many died, and many righteous men, Miriam, Aaron, and many of them, died here in between, in the journey, and there’ll be a resurrection there. And then also, over into the promised land there will be the resurrection.

But those three things typing, Luther age, justification by faith, Luther bringing out the people from Egypt, the garlic pots, flesh of the world; secondly, John Wesley through sanctification; and third, the baptism of the Holy Spirit, where they are free again.


Now that is a good point. We know that the Jordan types death, and as such it would be easy to think that Israel crossing into the Promised Land was the heaven, the eighth day, but as the Prophet points out, we must line up everywhere, not just on a couple of points. So we see here that the Promised Land is the Millennium. At the Rapture we enter in. We are at the door, ready to enter the Millennium. The Millennium will be peace.

We are at war!

Every moment of every day is a war! It was a war to get this message. It was a war to arrive here on time. It was a war to come to the pulpit. It is a war to bring this message. It is a war to receive this message.

But we are moving into the Promised Land!

Joshua 1: Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel. Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses. From the wilderness and this Lebanon even unto the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and unto the great sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your coast. There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

Branham my servant is…. Asleep. But as I was with him, so shall I be with you! Bride! Every place you set your foot, spiritually, is yours. But you must fight for it. We are in the Joshua day. We are moving into the Promised Land!

Every promise in the Bible is for you. Put your name there. Make it personal. Consider every name written in the Bible as a placeholder for YOUR name. “By his stripes Paul Brake is healed”. Put your name in every promise. Children of the Wilderness, we have arrived! Make it Personal! It has to be personal!

We keep coming back to this scripture, but there is so much there to cover.

Matthew 25: 1 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. 10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.

Notice there are two calls here. In the beginning they all grabbed their lamps and went forth to meet the groom. But he did not come at that time. He tarried. Then they all fell asleep. At the midnight hour, he came. The second call!

At the beginning of this age the call went out at the mouth of the Prophet. The world came. Hundreds of thousands if not millions came out of Egypt by the Prophet’s message. They had water, blood and spirit just as Moses did. They came out under the Blood of the Lamb of God, the Lord Jesus Christ. The Baptism we restored. Manna has been falling for over 100 years now, since 1933. But the Lord tarried in our day. Every sheep must come, every child of God must be positionally adopted as Sons and Daughters of God. Christianity has been wandering in the wilderness of sin of the world. The Bible says that we are pilgrims and strangers!

It has been 50 years since the Prophet Messenger went off the scene. A Jubilee has come and gone. The manna is still falling, but one day soon it will cease. Soon we will be preaching to the lost.

Don’t miss it!

The Groom is tarrying. The Bride is napping in a Laodicea slumber; fat, lazy, half asleep, battle weary. We are at the door, as they were in Joshua’s time, but just like in that day, the Children of the Wilderness were NOT circumcised!

The Second Call is about to come. We are at the midnight hour! Even the scientists tell us we are a minute to midnight. Did you think that was a coincidence?

NEVER!

Hebrews 3: Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice, Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness: When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years. 10 Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways. 11 So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.) 12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. 13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. 14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end; 15 While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation. 16 For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses. 17 But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness? 18 And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not? 19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.

The rest of God, the SABBATH, is the Holy Spirit. On the seventh day God rested from his works. He did not start up again on day eight. On the seventh day he rested from his works FOREVER. It is not another day. The day was given as a type to show what was to come, just as a lamb was used to type Christ.

The Israelites had the Sabbath every single week in the wilderness, but failed to enter the Sabbath, through unbelief. When we enter into His Rest, when we enter the Sabbath, we rest for OUR OWN WORKS FOREVER!

The works of the flesh cease. Full stop! Have you entered into His Rest? Are you ready for Promised Land today? Are you circumcised of heart and ears?

The ministers are standing in the Jordan. The waters are pulling back. Have you ceased from the Works of the Flesh!?

The Holy Spirit is standing ready with the two-edged sword to circumcise your hearts and ears right now.

Galatians 5: 19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

  1. Adultery: moicheia, Adultery
  2. Fornication: porneia, sexual immorality of any kind.
  3. Uncleanness: Akatharsia, State of moral filthiness, sexual sin
  4. Lasciviousness: aselgeia, lewdness, debauchery, dirty jokes
  5. Idolatry: eidololatres, worshipping or honoring false gods
  6. Witchcraft: pharmakeia, DRUG USE!
  7. Hatred: echthra, hostility, antagonism, enmity
  8. Variance: eris, dissention, quarrels, discord
  9. Emulations: zelos, jealousy, morally corrupt zealous ill will
  10. Wrath: thymos, intense displeasure based on real or perceived wrong focused on a righteous punishment.
  11. Strife: eritheia, selfish ambition.
  12. Seditions: dichostasia, divisions, dissention
  13. Heresies: hairesis, factions, cults, cliques
  14. Envyings: phthonos, envying
  15. Murders: phonos, killing
  16. Drunkenness: methe, getting drunk
  17. Revellings: komos, carousing, orgies

How many of the 17 did you know? We have to know what the Bible says, not just to read the words, but to know what it is saying. It is the same for the message. We hear these terms, the token, the seals are open, Daniel’s seventy weeks, standing in the gap etcetera, but do you really know what is being said?

Did you notice how many are sexual in nature? Five of the seventeen! That’s about 30%. Why? What was the original sin? Ever committed adultery with the serpent, then went to Adam. She had two sons, twins. Adam knew his wife Eve (one sexual act) and she bore Cain, and then again Abel. Twins. Fraternal twins. Two eggs were fertilized, one by Adam, one by the Serpent. The Blood Line was polluted.

1 Corinthians 6: 18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.

And:

1 Corinthians 3: 16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? 17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

Now do you see why it is so important?

If we are still steeping in these things, then we have not entered into His Rest. We are not yet fit for the Promised Land. We cannot yet cross the Jordan. We are NOT Circumcised!

Remember for everything physical, there is a type spiritual.

Spiritual Fornication! Spiritual Adultery!

We can be living clean physically, and be steeped in spiritual fornication. We’ll come back to that in a bit.

Now we find that Joshua had to circumcise them!

We cannot enter into the Promised Land until we are circumcised. But ours is a circumcision of the heart and mind. The works of the flesh are the sign that we are not yet circumcised. We need to have the flesh removed from us!

The works of the flesh, are THE FLESH!

53-0325 – Israel And The Church #1

And God had Abraham circumcised in confirmation of his faith. And the—what was it? What is the Holy Ghost? Somebody tell me what the Holy Ghost is for. It’s a sign. Is that right? What was circumcision? A sign. Is that right? A sign. God give a sign that He had accepted Abraham, for circumcision. And when you say, “I believe God; I believe Jesus Christ,” then God gives you the baptism of the Holy Ghost as a sign that He’s accepted your faith. Hallelujah. And then you’re sealed in the Kingdom of God, not till the next revival, but until the day of your redemption: Ephesians 4:30, “Grieve not the Holy Spirit of God whereby you’re sealed until the day of your redemption.” There you are.

There were two groups with Moses, those who died in the wilderness, and those who entered the promised land. Those who could not enter, the Bible says, failed through unbelief, sin. We just covered that. We can only enter by F•A•I•T•H. FAITH! If we are full of sin, full of unbelief, then we simply do not have faith. And our lives will prove it. It is easy to testify, to talk big, but what do we live? Do we forgive or hold grudges? When we get sick, do we call the elders according to James 5:14-16, or do we rely on the arm of flesh and head to the doctors. I have nothing against medicine, it is God’s love gift to the unbeliever. But for the Christian we have Thus Saith the Lord “by his stripes ye were healed”.

If our lives are full of unbelief, full of the flesh, then we are not yet circumcised of the heart and mind. If our minds are constantly thinking on worldly things, if worldly songs are playing in our heads, if we identify with cultures, traditions, creeds, dogmas, associations, organizations, denominations, countries, political parties etc etc etc, then we are yet carnal and uncircumcised. None of those things are of God. Verily the Bible says that if we love the world or the things of the world, the love of God, Agape, is not even in us. Check yourselves!

The Prophet told us that the evidence of the Holy Spirit is being able to say “amen” to every word of Scripture. But that is not just with our mouths, the devil can do that; we have to say AMEN with our lives!

We must APPLY the Token!

We know the parable of the sower, we hear that many times. They all received the exact same word. But they did not all equally apply it. We all sit here and listen to the exact same message. We read the same Bible. But only in a few did the word take, and grow and bear fruit. Only a few entered into the Promised Land. Only the Bride enters the Promised Land!

The Bride’s Revival happens as we cross the Jordan!

If we ain’t crossing over there we won’t even know it is happening. It does not happen in the world, in the realms of the flesh. The Bride’s revival is spiritual. It will happen among the foolish virgins, right in their midst, and they will miss it entirely. Lot knew nothing of Melchizedek!

And I was pulling the line like this, and I was trying to straighten my line out; and He looked at me; He said, “Now, don’t get your line tangled up in these kind of times.” And I thought, “Maybe He’s going give me another try.” And I was—I said, “I’ll sure be careful,” and was winding my line in, and seen it taken up all right; and then when He said that, just then I felt myself go higher, way up. And when I was set down, there I was beneath and standing up above a great tent; I never seen such a tent. And I’d just made a altar call, seeming like, down at the altar; and when I was down there, I looked, and there were hundreds of people standing around the altar weeping because they had accepted the Lord Jesus. And they were just weeping out loud. And I said, “Oh, that’s more like it,” like that.
   
And we’ll jump ahead a moment:

And just then… Now, here’s something. Notice close. There’s a difference between the Angel of the Lord and that Light, because I heard something a moving, as it does when it comes here at the platform at night, kinda like a—[Brother Branham makes a sound “whew”—Ed.] and like a fire whipping around—licking blaze. And It left me, and it went right down over the top of that audience and went and stood over the top of that little building, and then settled down on top of it. And then when It did, this One that was standing by me, behind me, the same voice, the Angel’s voice, He said, “I’ll meet you in there, and this is the third pull, but nobody will know nothing about it.” And I said, “Well, I don’t understand why in there. Why there?” He said, “It will not be a public show this time.” And I said, “I don’t understand going into that closet, like that.”

And He said, “Is not it written by our Lord, ‘when thou prayest, be not like the hypocrites who like to be heard before men, but enter into the secret closet and pray to the Father Who seeth in secret, and He Who seeth in secret shall reward thee openly?'” It’s perfectly to the Scripture; every time it is.

And I said, “I understand.” Then He took me to this place and set me down in this room where I was at, and then He told me what to do for the third time. Now, Christian friends, that’ll—when I leave this world, that’ll still be in my bosom. When I… But you mark my words what’s going to take place 

There was a big show, in a big tent, with a big emotional movement. It was a message based church movement. There was a giant altar call. People appeared to be accepting Jesus, and many even were. They were getting Justified, they were getting Sanctified. But they were in the outer and inner court. They were not in the Holiest of Holies; that was in the little room. That seems to be the standard today. Hundreds of thousands were coming.

But right among them was that little cabin, little room, little building; the Holiest of Holies! And in that building the Angel of the Lord will work and the big show won’t know nothing about it. Signs wonders and miracles, the Third Pull, right under their noses and they will miss it. Don’t think you can miss that?

I saw a doctor miss a miracle happen in the palm of her hand!

When my last son was born it was through a planned cesarean. One of her ovaries as 5cm dilated. The doctor took one ovary in each hand and said that the one was quite obviously in serious condition and considerably dilated. Then with the ovaries in her hands she turned her head to speak to the medical staff and tell them what they would have to do to deal with it.

While she was talking, I cursed the devil in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. When she looked back, the ovaries were both perfectly healthy. She looked, paused, and said, “they are both normal, there is nothing to do here” and proceeded to close everything up. The miracle of God by the Spoken Word happened in the palm of her hand and she missed it.

If the Foolish Virgins will miss it, what of the world? What of the denominations? What of the secular world?

So now be part of the Bride! Don’t get mixed up with anything else.

Psalm 1:1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

Stick with the Bible. Stick with the Message of the Hour. Stick with the Prophet. Stick with the Lord Jesus Christ! Stay with the Groom! Do not wander out of line, not even for a moment.

Avoid the ungodly. Avoid the denominations. Avoid cliques. Avoid unrighteousness. Avoid clubs and societies and associations. Stay away from sports teams. Don’t join worldly bands or play that music. Don’t discuss philosophy. Don’t listen to paganism and heathenism. You have been called away from all that. Cut it out of your life!

A Christian walk requires a complete separation from SIN! Period!

1 Corinthians 6: 14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. 18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

Do not get entangled with them. That includes both the worldly people, and the religious folks. If they have not accepted the Revealed Word of God, testify to them, but don’t let yourself get bogged down by them. If they are not called for eternal life, they will pull you down to hell with them. If you lay with the dogs, you will get flees.

You call them out, but do not let them call you in.

It don’t matter how sweet they are. It does not matter how religious they are. It does not matter how moral and ethical they are. Those things don’t save a person, they are just forms of self righteousness. They are the wool, the works. We are not saved by works. Our self righteousness is filthy rags. We need the pure linen, the Wedding Garment of the Bride!

We will not be part of the Bride’s Revival without the Message of the Hour.

Not one soul who has rejected the Message will be Bride!

Galatians 4: 30 Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.

The Bride will not be bound! We will not be part of the system. She will not be in the Image of the Beast nor receive the Mark of the Beast. We will not be yoked to them.

The tares are being bound together for the fire. That is what this big worldwide ecclesiastical, interdenominational blah blah blah thing is, the tares being bound together for the fire.

And today many who claim the Message are bound with denominational spirits as well. They form cliques, even among the ministers. They will invite this one, but not that one, will preach here, but not there. Preach where the money is. Preach where the popularity is. Preach for politics.

POLITICS! STRAIGHT FROM THE PIT OF HELL!

Mathew 6: 24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Men getting rich preaching the gospel, so called. They won’t preach the gospel, the Message, only the parts that make people feel good. They tell you that you are the Bride, when they themselves don’t even believe there is one.

They will tell you that if you believe that William Branham was a prophet etc, that you are saved. WE MUST BELIEVE ON JESUS CHRIST!

WE MUST BE BORN AGAIN!

The Children of the Wilderness must be Circumcised by the Holy Spirit!

A whole denominational world is learning to use the language of the message. And today a whole bunch of people “in the message” are learning to live like denominational people, and accept denominational dogmas. They are letting down the bars. Holiness has gone out of fashion among them.

The Great Falling Away Has Begun. It is in full swing!

Remember, the devil don’t come with a horse tail and a pitch fork, he comes with a Bible in one hand and a message book in the other. Literally, everybody except the Bride will be fooled.

We will be having the Bride’s Revival. And the world will miss it.

The squeeze is starting. It will put so much pressure on the religious world that only the Bride will overcome. The squeeze will fuel the Bride’s Revival. But the squeeze will be subtle, allowing a way of “escape”. We will be made to look as though we are insane, dangerous people for not accepting the “way out”. But the Lord will be moving.

And mixing with it is Spiritual FORNICATION!

Physical fornication sins against your physical, flesh body.

Spiritual fornication sins against your very Theophany!

Stick with the Word, the Bible. Stick with the vindicated Message, Stick with the Groom. No matter how tough it gets, no matter how sweet they try to make it look, stay with the Word.

We will have the Third Pull in Full Manifestation!

   63-1229E – Look Away To Jesus

Now remember, there’ll never be an impersonation of that, ’cause it can’t be. See, it cannot be. Now it’s in existent. And I have… I am warned of this, that soon… Right at this time now it’s just happened, so it could identify its presence among you, see, but it will not be used in a great way until this Council begins to tighten up. And when it does, when that does… The Pentecostals, and so forth, can almost impersonate anything can be done. But when that time comes, when the squeeze comes down, then you’ll see, what you’ve seen temporarily, be manifested in the fullness of its power. See? See? See? See?   

It is only for the Bride. It is only for the Spiritually Circumcised. It is only for those who will go in the Promised Land.

But you gotta get circumcised in the heart and mind FIRST!

The Lord will not fill us until we are completely Sanctified! A Holy God cannot dwell in an unclean vessel.

Balaam was a Prophet. He was not a heathen, he was a prophet. God spoke to him. But he was not following the Lord. He rejected the Message and the Messenger of his day, Moses. We got lots of preachers, teachers, evangelists, apostles and yes even prophets in the world. But are they lined up with the Messenger? Or are they like Balaam? God have Mercy!

Balaam was more interested in money and popularity. He had more respect unto the opinion of the world than the opinion of the Lord God Jehovah. He did not curse Israel, he blessed them. Think about that. Many from the Evangelicals like Donald Trump himself, will stand and bless Israel with their mouths. Trump even attended the Wailing Wall and placed a “prayer” in it. To the blind world this makes him holy.

This Prophet, Balaam, stood for all the world to see and blessed Israel openly and publicly. Yet he was a scoundrel. And through deceit, politics and his sly ecumenical move, he almost completely destroyed them. And had it not been for ONE righteous boy, they would have been wiped off the face of the earth.

Praise God! He always has someone on this earth that He can work with.

Numbers 25: 1 And Israel abode in Shittim, and the people began to commit whoredom with the daughters of Moab. And they called the people unto the sacrifices of their gods: and the people did eat, and bowed down to their gods. And Israel joined himself unto Baalpeor: and the anger of the Lord was kindled against Israel.

 And the Lord said unto Moses, Take all the heads of the people, and hang them up before the Lord against the sun, that the fierce anger of the Lord may be turned away from Israel. And Moses said unto the judges of Israel, Slay ye every one his men that were joined unto Baalpeor.

 And, behold, one of the children of Israel came and brought unto his brethren a Midianitish woman in the sight of Moses, and in the sight of all the congregation of the children of Israel, who were weeping before the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. And when Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, saw it, he rose up from among the congregation, and took a javelin in his hand; And he went after the man of Israel into the tent, and thrust both of them through, the man of Israel, and the woman through her belly. So the plague was stayed from the children of Israel.

 And those that died in the plague were twenty and four thousand.

We have too many Balaams. The pulpits of full of them today. We need more Phinehas’s. We need someone willing to go after the evils in the camp. We need men willing to cry and sigh for the abominations in the city.

We need preachers who will stand in the pulpits and call out sin and condemn it! We need preachers with sharp, two edged swords, who are willing to sacrifice all, to circumcise the Children of the Wilderness. We need men with spines, men who honor God, men consecrated to serve the Lord. We need Holy Ghost filled, called, anointed preachers to stand in the waters of the Jordan.

We need men who will preach black and white. There is NO grey! 

A fountain produces either good water or bitter water. It cannot produce both.

Deuteronomy 22: Thou shalt not sow thy vineyard with divers seeds: lest the fruit of thy seed which thou hast sown, and the fruit of thy vineyard, be defiled. 10 Thou shalt not plow with an ox and an ass together. 11 Thou shalt not wear a garment of divers sorts, as of woollen and linen together.

We talked on that last week. We cannot mix the two together. The Word of God is PURE. The moment we try to mix ANYTHING with it, we create a hybrid. It is an abomination. Culture, philosophy, tradition, dogma, creed, logic, reasoning, humanities, psychology, politics, science so called. It is all to perish with the using.

To do so is to pollute God’s Sanctuary. Mix it together, even in our own minds and thoughts, is to defile the Temple of God which ye are!

Cast down imaginations!

Deuteronomy 12: 10 But when ye go over Jordan, and dwell in the land which the Lord your God giveth you to inherit, and when he giveth you rest from all your enemies round about, so that ye dwell in safety; 11 Then there shall be a place which the Lord your God shall choose to cause his name to dwell there; thither shall ye bring all that I command you; your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, your tithes, and the heave offering of your hand, and all your choice vows which ye vow unto the Lord: 12 And ye shall rejoice before the Lord your God, ye, and your sons, and your daughters, and your menservants, and your maidservants, and the Levite that is within your gates; forasmuch as he hath no part nor inheritance with you. 13 Take heed to thyself that thou offer not thy burnt offerings in every place that thou seest: 14 But in the place which the Lord shall choose in one of thy tribes, there thou shalt offer thy burnt offerings, and there thou shalt do all that I command thee.

As the Bride of Christ, we cannot just go anywhere. We cannot attend any gathering, any fellowship, any church that suits our fancy. There is a place appointed for each of us to gather, to worship, to tithe to.

But this only applies to the Bride. If we are not Bride, it don’t matter where we go.

If the Lord places you somewhere, go there. Don’t wander. If the Lord gives you a ministry, serve it. Don’t always be looking at the other guy’s job. You can’t do his job and he can’t do yours.

We are members of the Body of Christ. We have a set position. Fingers are on hand, noses on the face, eyes in front, ears on the side. It is all for a purpose. I can scratch my nose with my finger, but I can’t do it with my kidney. Trying to do it would make an awful mess. There was an anointed King once who went into the temple and tried to do a priest’s job. He got leprosy!

When we enter into His Rest, he places us positionally!

It is not enough to simply be born again, we must be adopted! The Bride is NEVER placed in a denomination. We are not heirs with the children of the bondwoman. The wheat will not be heirs with the chaff. The chaff exists to protect the wheat. It looks a lot like the grain, but it is empty and has no life in it. It is propped up by the life of the seed. But the life is in the seed! When the seed ripens, the heat of the sun tightens up the chaff, and it squeezes the seed and pulls back from it. The chaff will pull back from the seed, and verily already has.

Deuteronomy 31: 15 And the Lord appeared in the tabernacle in a pillar of a cloud: and the pillar of the cloud stood over the door of the tabernacle. 16 And the Lord said unto Moses, Behold, thou shalt sleep with thy fathers; and this people will rise up, and go a whoring after the gods of the strangers of the land, whither they go to be among them, and will forsake me, and break my covenant which I have made with them.

So here we have the Lord speaking to Moses and Joshua as he prepares to lead the people into the Promised Land. These are the Message People of the Day. Yet look at the rebuke from the Lord.

He says, yes, I’ll bring them over, but it won’t take long and they will turn against me, rise up, and break my covenant. Laodicea!

The self same thing happens today! God sent a vindicated prophet messenger to reveal the entire written word to us. We have been given light on all of it. And we rise up against it. The denominations turned against it. Now from our own have risen ravenous wolves devouring the weak and poor, murdering the Prophet’s character. Pure Evil!

Matthew 13: 24 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: 25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. 26 But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. 27 So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? 28 He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? 29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

The tares will be with the wheat until the harvest. The tares are being bound. That is the big interdenominational ecumenical move today. They are even reeling in the Muslims and Buddhists etc into it. It is the doctrine of Balaam! Make sure you don’t get bound with them. A denominational spirit is afoot. The doctrine of Balaam is creeping in. Avoid it. Run from it. Expose it. Rebuke it. We are NOT all the same and no we do NOT all worship the same God.

There will be the three kinds of believers, the un-believer, the make-believer and the True Believer until the very end. Two shall be working together, one left and one take. Two shall be in bed together, one left and one taken.

Be the right one! Be the Bride!

Circumcise your heart and enter the Promised Land!

The Bride’s Revival is at Hand, and Yes has already begun.

When the Bride crosses the Jordan, and the waters return to block the way, they will leave the 12 stones as a memorial. Those 12 stones represent the 12 Tribes of Israel. Moses and Elijah will be preaching to those 12 Tribes after we leave. And if you are looking at that happening from this side of the Jordan, I truly feel sorry for you.

A Covering

A Covering

Mark 10:50 And he, casting away his garment, rose, and came to Jesus.

May the Lord God add his blessing to the reading of his Word.

I would like to speak on the topic of “A covering” and bring it down to focus on “The Covering”, “His Covering”.

This sermon deals with types and shadows, with allegories and metaphors. The entire Bible is written that way. Sure the characters existed but there is more to their stories than just their stories. For example, if you read Ruth and only see a gentile girl who married into money, and don’t see the entire plan of salvation under the law of the Kinsmen Redeemer for both Jews and Gentiles played out, then go back and read it again.

Tonight’s scripture is one small line in a very big scripture, but this is one of the most important lines there, and many miss it. The Prophet didn’t miss it, and neither should we.

   53-0403 – The Cruelty Of Sin, And The Penalty That It Cost To Rid Sin From Our Lives

Not long after that, he was shivering in the cold, one day; he heard a noise. God had provided the Lamb for blind Bartimaeus’ eyes. He came along the street. He said “What’s all this noise?” There’s usually noise where He’s at. Said, “What’s all this noise?” He said, “One, Jesus of Nazareth, passed by.”

He threw down his coat, not looking where it went; he didn’t care then. God had provided a Lamb. He got right to the Lamb. He said, “O Jesus, Thou son of David, have mercy. Have mercy.”

The rich people and those who stood around, to get close to the prophet, to the king; he said, “Oh, be still; He can’t hear you.” He cried that much the more. Some of them said, “The days of miracles is passed. There’s no such a thing as that day.” He cried the louder, “Thou son of David, have mercy on me. Have mercy on me.” God provided the Lamb.


Bartimaeus had a beggar’s coat on. He was wrapped in it. But when it came time to meet Jesus, he threw the coat off. He knew that covering was faulty, it was insufficient to meet Christ.

What covering are we coming to Christ with today? What covering are we bringing to the judgement? A beggar’s robe? A creed? A denomination? A tradition?

A Blasphemous Name?

Matthew 22: 11 And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment: 12 And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. 13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness, there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

He was called to the supper. He came to the supper. But he did not have the wedding garment on. He was a foolish virgin! No OIL! He came with his testimony, but he only had a borrowed spark. He had the wrong covering! He was covered with a tradition, a doctrine, a mental understanding.

It is not enough to believe the message, we must be covered by it.

We all fashion a covering. That is what religion is, a covering. Adam and Eve did it.

Genesis 3: And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden. And the Lord God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou? 10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.

Adam and Eve, upon realizing their condition, upon realizing that they were naked, immediately formed a covering for themselves. Yet when the Lord came, they hid in the forest because when faced with the holiness of God, their best covering was insufficient, and they knew it. They had a covering. They were covered. But it was the wrong covering!

Mark 5: 15 And they come to Jesus, and see him that was possessed with the devil, and had the legion, sitting, and clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid.

Legion, when possessed of the devil, was naked. He was insane. You know, ask anyone who has spent any time in poor country that cannot afford healthcare like we have here, what is the first thing people do when they go completely insane? They will tell you that they get naked. When people go insane with bush fever, even in winter, they take off their clothes. Why are so many people running around half naked, skirts so short they could pass as belts, less clothes on the street than the average Christian wears to bed?

THEY ARE INSANE!

The Prophet warned us of it. Insanity is sweeping the world in these last days.

Revelation 3: 14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; 15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. 16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. 17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: 18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. 19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. 20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. 21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

Naked! The Laodicea Church is Naked! That means she has lost her mind. This last church age has gone nuts with the world. But for the Church there is hope. For the Church there is the option to buy White Raiment! Get a wedding garment! Get the Holy Covering.

60-0711 – The Door Inside The Door

“Oh, I stand at the door and knock.” [Brother Branham knocks on pulpit—Ed.] That’s the age He would stand and knock. “If you’ll just open and let Me come in and take control, I’ll clothe you with pure linen.” Oh, the righteousness of the Holy Spirit, “I’ll clothe you. I’ll take all the shame away from you. I’ll put your name in the Lamb’s Book of Life. I’ll give you Eternal Life.” Oh, you’ll be hated by the world, certainly. “All that live godly in Christ Jesus,” says the Bible, “shall suffer persecutions. I’ll make you what you ought to be.”

Now the Prophet here says that the Pure White Linen is the Righteousness of the Holy Spirit.

Revelation 19: And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.

The Bible says that the linen is the righteousness of the Saints, the Prophet said it is the righteousness of the Holy Spirit. Do they disagree?

Isaiah 61:10 I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.

The righteousness of the Saints IS the Righteousness of the Holy Spirit for when we accept him, he wraps us in the Robes of HIS Righteousness. That is how we can stand before him.

We are JUSTIFIED by the righteousness of the Lord Jesus Christ!

When God looks upon us, he sees the righteousness of Jesus!

Adam could not stand before him. The Prophets could not stand before him. The Cherubims cannot stand before him; they cover their feet with their wings.

But WE can stand before him for we have THE COVERING!

If we are under the Blood Covenant of the Lord Jesus Christ. If we have repented and been baptized in full immersion in water in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and been filled with the Holy Spirit, then we have THE COVERING.

Too many miss it. They miss it. They go part way.

Laodicea is BLIND.

Laodicea is NAKED!

They don’t have the covering. They think they do, but they don’t.

Many still have fig leaves, a man-made religion.

Self Righteousness.

If any man’s righteousness was righteous enough for the Lord, if anyone could ever gain salvation through works, through self righteousness, then the Lord Jesus Christ died in vain.

Isaiah 64: But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

Our righteousness is filthy rags!

  56-1125M – A Secondhanded Robe

Now, notice in Elijah. Then after he threw his robe on him and tried it on him… In other words, Elijah the prophet, who had the mantle of God on his shoulders, he came down and laid it across Elisha, the farmer, to see if it would fit him. And it taken about ten years to get altered to fit that mantle. You know, God usually puts us in the shop and trims us up. Now, He didn’t alter His robe to fit Elisha; He altered Elisha to fit the robe. And that’s what He does today. He alters us to fit the robe, not the robe to fit us. Sometimes we want to make the robe fit us. But we can’t do that. You’ve got to let—be altered yourself for the robe. It’s God’s robe and He made it perfect. And we’ve got… He’s got to bring us into that realm to make the robe fit us.

So we can’t be perfect ourself; we know we can’t. There’s no way for us to be, and yet He said for us to be. So, but what He did, He made appropriation for us, the Lord Jesus Christ and His righteousness. That’s where the perfection comes of ignoring our own holiness, of which we have none, and our own thoughts which ought not to be, but we rest solemnly upon the finished work of the Lord Jesus. God sent Him to the earth, and it was in Him that we rest.

Bling Bartimaeus realized that his righteousness was a filthy rag and threw it away to go meet Jesus. Have we done the same?

2 Kings 2: 11 And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. 12 And Elisha saw it, and he cried, My father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. And he saw him no more: and he took hold of his own clothes, and rent them in two pieces. 13 He took up also the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and went back, and stood by the bank of Jordan; 14 And he took the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and smote the waters, and said, Where is the Lord God of Elijah? and when he also had smitten the waters, they parted hither and thither: and Elisha went over.

Elisha what are you wearing?

He had to take of his own robe, and destroy it before he could put on Elijah’s mantle. It won’t fit over top. You cannot mix the two!

In order to receive the Holy Spirit we must first cast off our own spirit, our own righteousness must DIE. As long was we are holding onto any of it, one thread of it, we are an abomination to God.

Leviticus 19: 19 Ye shall keep my statutes. Thou shalt not let thy cattle gender with a diverse kind: thou shalt not sow thy field with mingled seed: neither shall a garment mingled of linen and woollen come upon thee.

Do not mingle seed in the field. Do not preach the Word and Dogmas. Do not mix the Message with Creeds. Do not mix the righteousness of Christ, with the righteousness of man. We are God’s sheep, but our own natural covering, our wool, our righteousness, is filthy rags before him. We must be covered by LINEN, the righteousness of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit!

Ezekiel 44: 17 And it shall come to pass, that when they enter in at the gates of the inner court, they shall be clothed with linen garments; and no wool shall come upon them, whiles they minister in the gates of the inner court, and within.

No wool shall come upon them, not even a fiber of our own righteousness, shall be tolerated.

We must minister the Word of God, All the Word and nothing but the Word, and we must bring in by the Holy Spirit. It don’t matter how smart you are, how educated, where you went to school, who your family is, if it is of you, then it is wool, and it is not allowed.

The wedding garment is pure linen, not wool. Show up with wool and we will be tossed out.

1 Peter 2: But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;

It is not just for the ministers, not just for the pulpit. Every single one of you is part of the Royal Priesthood. You are a Holy Nation. You are to be dressed in Pure Linen alone!

You are to wear the wedding garment. And you cannot put it on over your own garments. We have to tear off the old garment first. We have to destroy it, die to it. Our righteousness. Our wisdom. Our culture. Our heritage. Our traditions. Our religions.

ALL MUST GO! They are all of the world.

John 14: 16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

We cannot put on the wedding garment while we are wearing anything of the world. As long as that old wool is on us, the wedding garment, the pure linen, will not fit.

Matthew 9: 16 No man putteth a piece of new cloth unto an old garment, for that which is put in to fill it up taketh from the garment, and the rent is made worse 17 Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.

We cannot merely patch our filthy rags with patches of holiness. It won’t work. It will all fall apart. And many try to do this. They try to discipline themselves to righteousness and holiness. They quit this and quit that hoping to become holy.

Patches! They will be destroyed.

Rip it all off. Lay yourself bare that the Lord God may cloth you. Do as Elisha, to as Bartimaeus, cast off your old cloaks, cast off the fig leaves of doctrines and religion, and accept the fullness of Christ.

Deuteronomy 22: The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman’s garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the Lord thy God.

Now there is a garment that pertains to a man, and a garment that pertains to a woman. In the natural, through the message, we have come to know that this refers to pants and skirts and the like. Cross dressing, transvestites are an abomination to God. And abomination is something so rotten, so putrid, so disgusting that its stink makes you physically ill so that you vomit.

If a man wears frilly, girly clothes, or if a woman wears pants or other masculine attire, those people are abominations to God. A woman who wears pants is a transvestite.

Any woman who dresses in men’s attire, who wears an article of clothes that pertains to a man is an abomination unto God!

But there is a spiritual side to this, and it is actually the spiritual side that produced the physical. For every type physical there must first be a type spiritual.

We are, as a church, the Bride, the woman. Christ is the groom, the man. Now watch closely.

Exodus 28: 1And take thou unto thee Aaron thy brother, and his sons with him, from among the children of Israel, that he may minister unto me in the priest’s office, even Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, Aaron’s sons. And thou shalt make holy garments for Aaron thy brother for glory and for beauty. And thou shalt speak unto all that are wise hearted, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom, that they may make Aaron’s garments to consecrate him, that he may minister unto me in the priest’s office. And these are the garments which they shall make; a breastplate, and an ephod, and a robe, and a broidered coat, a mitre, and a girdle: and they shall make holy garments for Aaron thy brother, and his sons, that he may minister unto me in the priest’s office. And they shall take gold, and blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen. And they shall make the ephod of gold, of blue, and of purple, of scarlet, and fine twined linen, with cunning work. It shall have the two shoulderpieces thereof joined at the two edges thereof; and so it shall be joined together. And the curious girdle of the ephod, which is upon it, shall be of the same, according to the work thereof; even of gold, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen.

We’ll stop there. It goes on for quite a bit but this should give us the understanding. Aaron was the high priest. Jesus is the High Priest after the Order of Melchesidek as we are told in Hebrews. Notice the attire of the high priest, the clothing pertaining to him. Notice the specific colours, the precious stones, the gold. Read the whole thing when you get home.

Note previous the clothing pertaining to the Bride, pure white linen. That is all it says of us. Pure Linen. I am curious, has anybody caught it yet?

Watch. Turn to it in your Bibles so that you do not miss it.

Revelation 17: 1 And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters: With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication. So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: And upon her forehead was a name written, Mystery, Babylon The Great, The Mother Of Harlots And Abominations Of The Earth. And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.

She is wearing the attire of the groom! Purple. Blue. Scarlet. Gold. Precious stones. She is a false bride wearing articles of clothing pertaining to a man. She is an abomination unto God, and the mother of it.

Every single religion, every organization, every denomination, every group, that turns from the headship of Christ to the headship of man is a false bride, a harlot, an abomination unto God. They have blasphemous names! Their very name is an abomination unto God.

Vicarius Fillii Dei! In Place of God! Sitting in the temple of God showing himself to be God. The very antichrist seat is Rome! A false bride, a harlot wearing the attire of the high priest!

They are spiritual transvestites! Spiritual Adulterers! Spiritual prostitutes!

And we also have the false garments in this day too. False garments and polluted garments.

Matthew 23:1 Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples, Saying The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat: All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not. For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers. But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments, And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues, And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi. But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren. And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven. 10 Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ. 11 But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.

We can easily be like this if we are not careful. We can quickly get a bit of pride. Our own self righteousness can pop up. A long woolen robe of self righteousness can grow on us based on some works, on our knowledge of doctrines etc. Pride. It is one thing to honour a minister, it is another when he starts honouring himself.

You see it on social media far too often these days. Pastor so and so. Prophet such and such. William Branham refused to take any other title than BROTHER. If the Prophet Messenger insisted on being called Brother, what spirit is making these men want to be called “Rabbi Rabbi” in total contravention to the Word of God. We have a Pastor. That is his position. But his title is Brother. What’s wrong with these other guys?

Beware the leaven of the Pharisees!

Don’t wear a false robe!

Jude 1: 20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, 21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. 22 And of some have compassion, making a difference: 23 And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.

Garments spotted with flesh. To see this we have to go back to the Old Testament again.

Leviticus 13: 47 The garment also that the plague of leprosy is in, whether it be a woollen garment, or a linen garment; 48 Whether it be in the warp, or woof; of linen, or of woollen; whether in a skin, or in any thing made of skin; 49 And if the plague be greenish or reddish in the garment, or in the skin, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in any thing of skin; it is a plague of leprosy, and shall be shewed unto the priest: 50 And the priest shall look upon the plague, and shut up it that hath the plague seven days: 51 And he shall look on the plague on the seventh day: if the plague be spread in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in a skin, or in any work that is made of skin; the plague is a fretting leprosy; it is unclean. 52 He shall therefore burn that garment, whether warp or woof, in woollen or in linen, or any thing of skin, wherein the plague is: for it is a fretting leprosy; it shall be burnt in the fire.

Pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment spotted with flesh. Do you see it? Leprosy, from a spiritual perspective, types sin! Our natural garments, our own coverings, are stained with our own sin. When we bring our own righteousness to Christ the High Priest, according to the Word of God he must command it to be burned for it is spotted with leprosy. If we are in those garments, we too shall be burned!

Genesis 35: Then Jacob said unto his household, and to all that were with him, Put away the strange gods that are among you, and be clean, and change your garments: And let us arise, and go up to Bethel; and I will make there an altar unto God, who answered me in the day of my distress, and was with me in the way which I went.

Jacob was commanded to change garments. We cannot go unto the Lord in sin spotted garments of false gods. Put all unrighteousness away. Die unto self. Our own righteousness, our religion, our traditions, our cultures, our creeds, our denominations are ALL sin spotted, filthy dirty leprosy rages before the Lord. We cannot go unto him until we strip them off of us.

Revelation 3: Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy. He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

If there are those who have not defiled their garments, then there are those who have. Which means it can be defiled. We can defile ourselves before the Lord, even after we have been washed.

We defile it through sin.

Now the original covering was not linen. Adam and Eve made a covering of fig leaves which the Lord God replaced. That was Adam’s self righteousness, but as we read, it did not stand up. But the Lord did not replace it with Linen. He replaced it with flesh.

They had sinned so the Lord gave them a covering, a covering of flesh and blood. He shed innocent blood for them. But this covering was a temporary one, designed to show something better to come. It was a type of Christ.

The animal was the lamb. It was a shadow of things to come. It was replaced. The Wool and the Linen were not together; the Linen replaced the Wool. Christ as the high priest never went in with the blood of a sheep, but with his own blood he went in once for all.

The Lord God did not come veiled in Linen, he came veiled in flesh. The holiest of holies in the temple had a veil of flesh as well to show that the way into the presence of God was through flesh. Adam and Eve were given a covering of flesh to show that God would come in flesh to cover them. The flesh was bloody because the sin came through the blood and the Lord God would have to spill his own blood to redeem them back. It took blood to redeem a sin of the blood.

But once the Lord was murdered on the cross, his blood was spilled, the veil of his flesh was torn, then the veil of flesh in the temple was rent from top to bottom, just as Elisha rent his own cloak. The way into the Holiest of Holies, into the presence of the Living God was made manifest. The body of Jesus, the broken and bloody flesh, the Lamb of God, was wrapped in burial cloth, LINEN!

Matthew 27: 59 And when Joseph had taken the body, he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth, 60 And laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn out in the rock: and he rolled a great stone to the door of the sepulchre, and departed.

Jesus, the Groom, was buried in fine Linen that was stained with his blood. He lived in flesh, died in flesh, but the flesh was rent, and he was placed in Fine Linen.

John 20: And he stooping down, and looking in, saw the linen clothes lying; yet went he not in. Then cometh Simon Peter following him, and went into the sepulchre, and seeth the linen clothes lie, And the napkin, that was about his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself.

The Linen was the sign to Peter, to the Apostles. There was no more flesh, but Linen. Death and RESSURECTION!

The complete atonement had been made and blood stained white linen was left as a token of the Resurrection.

That Linen is our Righteousness because it was obtained through the suffering, bleeding, death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ!

He bore our sins. He bore our sickness. He bore our pain. He bore our iniquities. He bore our death. He bore them in his flesh. His own blood paid the debt and redeemed us.

And when he had died and returned, he did not leave his flesh, the left the Fine Linen!

HIS OWN BURIAL CLOTHES ARE OUT RIGHTEOUSNESS!

Exodus 29: 20 Then shalt thou kill the ram, and take of his blood, and put it upon the tip of the right ear of Aaron, and upon the tip of the right ear of his sons, and upon the thumb of their right hand, and upon the great toe of their right foot, and sprinkle the blood upon the altar round about.21 And thou shalt take of the blood that is upon the altar, and of the anointing oil, and sprinkle it upon Aaron, and upon his garments, and upon his sons, and upon the garments of his sons with him: and he shall be hallowed, and his garments, and his sons, and his sons’ garments with him.

The burial garments of Christ were stained with his blood. Stained with his blood from the crown of thorns, his nail scarred hands, his feet and his pierced side. Aaron’s right ear, his right thumb, his right toe, and splattered all around!

A perfect type! Hidden in simplicity.

The sacrifice in the Levitical Priesthood was to show Christ. And it did. The garments they wore typed the burial garment of the Lord Jesus Christ. Notice it was not just the High Priest, but his sons as well. We, as the sons and daughters of God, are sprinkled with the self same blood!

The burial robe of Jesus was stained with his blood, and Aaron’s were stained with blood to show the crucifixion.

Stained by his blood, but in reality the stain of sin on the garment was washed in his blood. He bore our sins and they were buried with him in that garment. His holy blood washed our sins out of that garment.

The burial garments of the Lord Jesus Christ are the Elijah Cloak that came down to the Bride! Elisha got twice the anointing of Elijah, and the Bride got “greater works than this shall ye do”.

Jesus’ burial garments are our second hand robe!

Revelation 7: After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; 10 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb. 11 And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God, 12 Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen. 13 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they? 14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

Their fine linen robes were washed in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ!

The burial garments of the Groom are the Wedding Dress of the Bride!

I Challenge the world to find a better, more righteous, more holy covering that that.

What has any religion, any denomination, any philosophy got that can compete with that?

I challenge the entire world in the name of Jesus Christ to compare your self-righteousness, your traditions, your creeds, your dogmas to that!

Cast off your self righteousness!

Cast off your filthy rags.

Come to Christ!

Strip your soul bare before him.

The Mystery of God

The Calling

John 17: I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine

sunraysHere the Lord Jesus is facing imminent crucifixion. He has gathered his disciples and is praying to the Father. His words here are interesting, and very different than what we hear in churches today. Jesus refused to pray for the world. Go into any denomination today and they are continually praying for the world. But not Jesus, he flatly refused and spoke it publicly. Jesus told us that he will only pray for those given to him out of the world. Why? Because only those given to him out of the world belong to God. And he goes on to say:

John 17: 12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.

All whosoever come to Jesus he will keep and NONE will be lost. Jesus only prays for his own and all of his own will be saved.

John 6: 65 And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.

This is why Jesus said that we are given to him out of the world. We indeed were in the world, but we do not belong to the world, we are not of the world. The only way to come to Jesus is if the Lord God before the foundation of the world, through his foreknowledge, wrote your name in the Lamb’s Book of Life. Those whose names are in that book will come to Jesus, he will accept them, he will save them, and none will be lost. Nobody else will come. If you have come to Jesus, it is because the Lord God predestinated you to it before the first subatomic particle was created.

Ephesians 1: Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence; Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: 10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him: 11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

Our salvation was planned, along with the crucifixion of the Lord Jesus Christ, in the very beginning of time. The plan of salvation is not an accident, is not a mistake, it is a carefully devised plan with every detail accounted for in advance.

Luke 8: 10 And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.

puzzleThe Bible was intentionally written as a puzzle. Without revelation it is completely impossible to understand it and parse it together. Much of it is historically chronological but certainly not all. The key, as the Scriptures tell us is “line upon line, precept upon precept, word upon word”. But without the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we simply cannot get it right.

We have over 1,100 “christian” denominations on earth, all preaching out of the exact same book, all preaching radically different from each other. Not only do they disagree with the Message of the Hour, they don’t even agree with each other. How could master theologians, with numerous advanced degrees and expert knowledge of Greek and Hebrew, with the original texts, all come to completely different ideas based on very simple writings? We just read it.

It is not given to them

They don’t have revelation. Sad but true. The Scriptures we just read establish that. And based on that fact we have to ask if they are even called for eternal life because Jesus said nobody can come except God call them to it. Now that does not mean the people in the denominations are all lost. We are all at different places in our walk. But, Jesus will only save those that are given to him by the Father and none of that group shall be lost. The Bible says that there is literally nothing that can pluck us out of his hand. God does not give revelation to those that are not called; to them, unfortunately, it remains a parable, a riddle. Seeing it they will not see. Hearing it they will not understand. Even the simplest Scriptures like the proper Christian baptism will be a complete mystery. Verily they will not understand my simple words here today either. They will insult and attack it and say all manner of evil against it for the Lord God will not give them revelation. Hence the Bible says:

1 Corinthians 2: 14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

The things of God, all the things of God, the entire Word of God, The Bible from cover to cover, is spiritually discerned. The natural man, the carnal mind, the intellectual giant, cannot and will not ever understand it. We cannot study our way into heaven. Saul of Tarsus was the most educated, smartest theologian in Israel knowing the scriptures forward and backward, and he was persecuting the Church with it. It was not until he met Jesus and on the road to Damascus received the revelation of the Mystery of the Godhead, that he started serving the Lord. At that point he said he counted all his learning as dung. As Jesus said to Peter, “flesh and blood had not revealed it unto you, but my Father in heaven hath revealed it”. That is the Rock of Salvation. Not Peter, REVELATION!

So there are mysteries. We just read that. There are many, many mysteries that can only be fully understood through revelation. So which mysteries count? Which ones do we have to know? Do we need to understand all of them? NO. Because that would make salvation an intellectual act. Paul in 1 Corinthians 13:2 says that you could understand them all and still be lost for it is not the knowledge of doctrines that saves us. But is there a particular mystery, one thing hidden to the world, that ties it all together?

Revelation 10: But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

Notice in the other scriptures the Bible talks of “mysteries”, plural, but here we see the word “mystery”, singular. So there is a singular mystery, that has been handed down to us throughout the entire Bible by the prophets, that is hidden from the world, and is finished, revealed, in the very last day by the very last Church Age Messenger, brother William Branham. There is a secret, that the Lord God Jehovah has saved for the Laodicean Church Age. There is a particular mystery that Jehovah told us of, yet did not fully reveal until the very end. This one secret is the key that ties all other mysteries together. It is so essential the he reserved the Elijah ministry of Malachi 4:5-6 to reveal it.

The Mystery of God

1 Timothy 3: 16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

The Mystery of God, the revelation of the Godhead, is the one key mystery. Without it we do not even know who or what God is. Without that one revelation all the others are powerless because we will not be able to apply them to our lives.

How can we say we worship God when we do not have clue who he is? How can we enter into the Blood Covenant of Jesus Christ if we cannot even understand who and what The Lord Jesus Christ is? We will be heathens, fooling ourselves. We will be religious, yet walking in complete darkness. That is why Jesus admonished us:

Luke 13: 24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. 25 When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: 26 Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets. 27 But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.

These people thought they were Christians. They knew the name of Jesus Christ, but they did not know him. They did not have the revelation of the mystery of God. They thought they were serving and worshiping God, yet they had no clue who Jesus Christ is. And for all their good works, for all their charity, for all their helps, singing in the choir, preaching from the pulpits, building schools and  hospitals, missionaries to the the far corners of the glove, feed the hungry, clothing the poor, and yet completely and utterly lost, without God in the world. The world is a darkness and the people a gross darkness saith the Lord.

This one revelation is the key that has been reserved for the Bride of Christ. It is unto his Bride that the Groom unveils himself, and to no other. Only the called, the “very elect”, the ones given to Jesus by God the Father will receive the revelation that Jehovah of the Old Testament is Jesus of the new. They, and they alone will see God above us, God with us and God in us as three manifestations of the self same person of the Lord Jesus Christ.

It is in the Scriptures from Genesis to Revelation, but without the Holy Spirit opening our eyes, we will miss it completely. It is clear in Isaiah 9:6 yet without revelation, we won’t see it, ever.

If you have received the revelation of the mystery of the Godhead, if it dwells not just in your mind as a doctrine, but in your heart, then you are called of God, chosen and elect, a member of the Bride of Christ. If you possess the revelation of the Mystery of God, then know most assuredly you did not figure it out, it was not taught to you by your pastor, it was not given you by the Prophet, it was given to you before the foundation of the World when the Lord God wrote you name in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

If you don’t have that revelation then I beg you, I urge you, fast and pray until the Lord unveils this truth to you. Wait upon him. Cry out to the Lord for the revelation. Cry out to meet him. Cry out for the pillar of fire to come to you and reveal the hidden mystery and introduce himself to you. If you have  desire to know it, then that desire was put in your heart by the Lord. You cannot come to him unless he first draw you.

Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in Heaven. When the Lord comes, he will grant for you to sit with him in his throne as he is sit down in his father’s throne.

Godhead is an interesting term and a mystery to most. To the Bride of Jesus Christ the godhead is no longer a mystery. He is her head, her Bridegroom. She is part of him, flesh of his flesh, blood of his blood, bone of his bone. But to those who have not yet been born again, who do not know Jesus Christ personally, even though they may have been attending a “church” for many years, the godhead remains a complete mystery. In fact many have not even heard the term “godhead” ever spoken in their Churches.

Please bear with me hear and forgive my ramblings. I believe I might be able, by the grace of God, to shed some new light for you on this mystery of the godhead.

It All Starts with Revelation

Jesus spoke to us in parables. So much so that the apostles questioned him on the practice. He told them in

Matthew 13: 11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

And in Luke 8:10 And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to other in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.

And more particularly in Mark 4:11 And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God; but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables 12 that seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.

Revelation, you see, is only given to the elect, to the Bride of Christ. It is only given to those with a desire for it. Jesus told us:

Matthew 7: Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

As your read this, please seek, knock and ask of the Lord for his revelation. Don’t take my word for anything. I am just a man. Take God’s word. Seek the revelation of it through the Holy Spirit. Seek and ye SHALL find. Knock and it SHALL be opened. Ask and it SHALL be given.

The Mystery of the Godhead

So, taking this into consideration let us start by having a look at what the Lord Jesus said in Matthew about baptism.

Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of he Son, and of the Holy Ghost.

Look at exactly what he said. He directed us to baptize in the “name”. That is singular; one name. He did not say names, plural, but one singular name. And he did not say titles either. Father is not a name, it is a title. So is son. And holy ghost, that is not even a title but more of a description. I am a father. I am also a son. I am also an engineer. But neither of those are my “name”. They are just titles I hold. Jesus specifically told us to baptize in the “name”. So then how do we baptize? We must find out what the “NAME” is that Jesus was talking about.

See, even this scripture was given to us in a parable without direct revelation. This is very similar to when he said “if you don’t eat my flesh and drink my blood you cannot be my disciple”. He did not give an immediate explanation there, and the apostles didn’t even get it until the night of the Lord’s Supper when he broke the bread and passed the wine. They believed it but did not know what exactly they were believing. At the Lord’s supper he explained it and revealed unto them what the body and blood of the Lord meant.

Then we have been handed another puzzle. It is the mystery of the godhead. But the answer, the revelation, MUST be in the Word or he never would have said it.

Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his “NAME” shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

That should settle it for us right there. The “son” was born. His “name” is also “the everlasting Father” and the “councillor”. Do you see it yet? There are three offices of one God. God above us, God with us, God in us. There were three jobs that needed to be done, but the only one capable of doing them was the Lord God himself. So he manifested himself in three separate offices to fulfill the word. But lets take it a little further for the word says let nothing be established but before two or three witnesses.

Matthew 1: 20 While he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.

Well isn’t this marvellous? We find that the angel tells Joseph that Mary’s baby is conceived of the “holy ghost”. What???? I thought that the father of Jesus was God the Father, and here we see plainly that the “holy ghost” is named as the father of Jesus. So then either God the Father is the self same person as the Holy Ghost or Jesus has two fathers, and that would make him a bastard and not a son. I’m not sacrilegious or blasphemous here, I am pointing out a basic truth. It has to be one way or the other. Either the Lord God Jehovah Father IS the Holy Spirit, or there is something completely wrong.

John 14: 7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father and it sufficeth us. 9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father: and how sayest thou then. Show us the Father?

That is pretty plain english to me. When you see Jesus, you see the Father. Compare that with Isaiah 9:6 for reference. Jesus therefore is the Father in flesh. They are one and the same. They are not two separate entities, or two separate persons. They are two manifestations of the ONE person.

Now we see Jesus doing something else. Later in this chapter when speaking of the Holy Spirit we find him interchanging titles all over the place. Watch and see.

John 14:16 and I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with your for ever. 17 Even the Spirit of Truth; which the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. (Who was dwelling with them? Jesus. See here he says the spirit is coming but then in the next verse) 18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. (so then who is coming? The spirit or him? They are one and the same person. Then we see him say) 19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also. 20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. 21 He that hath my commandment, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me; and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. (Saying it is him again but then he says) 22 Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world? 23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him and make our abode with him, ( so now it is both the father and son. but then he turns and says) 24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me. 25 These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send IN MY NAME, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. ( See now it is just the Holy Ghost again “in his name”, refer once again to Isaiah but then) 27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. 28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I. (See here he again says he is coming but then says he is going to the Father.)

Then we can add to that these two scriptures:

1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one mediator between God and men, the man Jesus Christ.

Romans 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

So who is the mediator then, Jesus or the Holy Spirit? Either Jesus Christ IS the Holy Spirit or the Bible is wrong and self contradictory. It not only says that Jesus is the mediator, it says that he is the “ONLY” mediator. Then it says that the Holy Spirit makes intercession. The only way for these two scriptures to agree is if Jesus Christ is the Holy Spirit.

Look at this:

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God…….14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us,(and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. 15 John bare witness of him and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me.

And Jesus speaking:

John 8:56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad. 57 then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham? 58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was I AM.

Jesus plainly told us that He is the great I AM and that he and Abraham saw each other. When?

Genesis 14: 18 And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God. 19 and he blessed him, and said Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth. 20 And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand, and he gave him tithes of all.

So who was this Melchizedek that met Abraham?

Hebrews 7: 1 For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him; 2 To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of Peace; 3 Without father or mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God, abideth a priest continually.

And then also we can look at :

1 Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: god was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

“God was manifest in the flesh”. God was “justified in the Spirit”. God was “seen of angels”. God was preached unto the gentiles”. God was “believed on in the world”. God was “received up into glory”. All those things speak of the Lord Jesus Christ and yet the Bible calls him “God”. That is the mystery of the godhead. That is also the revelation of the godhead.

And discerning what someone would think and say in advance, the Lord directed my by his spirit to point out that the word “God” here comes from the Greek “Theos”. Theos defines the person spoken of here as God the Father, Jehovah, Elohim, the great I AM. So speaking specifically of Theos, the Bible describes the ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ.

And as well this scripture:

1 John 3:16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

WHOA!! Who died for us??? I though Jesus died for us. The son died on the cross. But here it clearly says that GOD died for us. So then Jesus Christ MUST be God or the scripture doesn’t run true. I know, it is hard to break through the trinity dogma that you have been beaten over the head with all your life. But just stop and look at the word. Look at what the Bible says. It is clear. Don’t take my word for it, seek, ask and knock. Seek the revelation from the Lord.

And we can also add this scripture:

John 5:43 I come in my Father’s name, and ye receive me not; if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.

He came in his father’s name. I came in my father’s name. His last name was Brake and guess what, so is mine. Jesus came in his Father’s name.

Baptism and the Mystery of the Godhead

So then where does this all lead us? Right back to where we started. What is the One “name” by which we should be baptized, which is the “name” of the Father, and is also the “name” of the Son (same name) and is also the “name” of the Holy Spirit (same name again)? What is the ONE name for all three? What is the name of the godhead?

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized, every one of you in the “name” of JESUS CHRIST for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit, 39 for the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

So there you have it. The reason the trinitarians baptize in titles is:

1) they do not have the revelation of the godhead,

2) they do not have the revelation of Matthew 28:19.

3) They choose to ignore acts 2;38-39.

4) They choose to ignore the fact that the only Christian baptism found in scriptures, in Church history, or even in secular history, was in accordance with Acts 2:38-39 until Rome brought in their heresies at the Nicene Council of 325 AD.

They have the parable, but as we saw earlier, without the revelation of the godhead they will be lost. Without revelation the word becomes a dead letter. That is why there are over 1,000 denominations, all preaching out of the same book, all disagreeing. They don’t have the same spirit. So which church is right? NONE of them! Only Jesus Christ is right. It don’t matter where you fellowship. Those organizations are not Churches. They are simply lodges. You and I are the Church. The Church is the people, the called out ones. The only truth is the Bible. The one true God and eternal life is the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the mystery, the revelation and manifestation of the godhead bodily.

In fact there is only one baptism that God accepts and that is the baptism in Acts 2:38. Without it we have no remission of sins, and without it we will not receive the Holy Spirit.

Let me leave you with one final example from the scriptures. There was a man, a lawyer, who had started preaching the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible even goes so far as to call him a “mighty preacher”. This man was persuading men to receive the Lord Jesus and their Lord and Saviour. He had a small but growing congregation of dedicated souls. This man had run across two noted Christians, Aquila and Priscilla. They led the Apostle Paul to go to one of his meetings.

Acts 19:  And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples, He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost. And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John’s baptism. Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus. 5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied. And all the men were about twelve.

So here was a church, with its pastor, all Christians all baptized by John the Baptist. Yet they had not received the Holy Spirit. They were living sanctified lives. They had repented. They had done more than most Christians today. They were perfectly sincere and believed on the Lord Jesus Christ. Yet the Lord had refused to fill them with the Holy Spirit. They did not yet have the revelation of the godhead.

Now when the Apostle and Prophet Paul came to visit, the Holy Spirit in him discerned that something was not quite right. So he, led by the spirit, asked them how they were baptized. That was the problem. They were baptized. They were even baptized by John the Baptist, the man who baptized the Lord Jesus Christ. He was also the man who Jesus said was the greatest of all the prophets. Yet that was not good enough.

They had to be rebaptized in accordance with Acts 2:38-39 which is the revelation of Matthew 28:19.

Apollos immediately obeyed the Word of the Lord. He received the revelation of who Jesus Christ is, of the godhead, and the Holy Spirit of promise. Not only did he obey, his entire congregation followed him into the water to be baptized in full immersion in water in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins.

Why could Apollos not receive the Holy Spirit? He had not fulfilled the requirements. The Lord gave us a requirement. He expected the 120 in the upper room to obey it, the 3,000 on the day of Pentecost to obey it, Apollos and his congregation to obey it. He also requires you and I to obey it.

That revelation of the proper and only acceptable baptism is also the revelation of the godhead.

It is not three persons, a committee. It is ONE God, ONE person, the Lord Jesus Christ, manifested in three offices to fulfill God’s plan of salvation for humanity.

If it still isn’t real to you, please, please, I beg of you, pray over it. Fast and pray, read the scriptures over and over until the Lord God himself reveals the truth to you in his word by his Holy Spirit. Do you not wonder why the Bible never says “three persons”, never says “trinity” but always says “one true God”? Because there is only ONE, manifesting three offices. Jesus Christ is the manifestation of the fulness of the godhead bodily.

Pray and seek and the Lord will reveal it.

( Eulogy of the Flesh)

Colossians 3:1 If ye be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. 2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. 4 When Christ who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in Glory.

Die unto Sin
We cannot be risen until we are first buried.

May the Lord add a blessing to the reading of His word.

I’ld like to take as a topic for today “If ye be risen with Christ” and a text “Eulogy of the Flesh”. That is quite a concept. Jesus Christ is risen from the dead. He was born, he lived, he died, he was buried, he even went into hell, and now he is risen from the dead and lives forevermore. Jesus Christ is alive and well today.

He sits today on the mercy seat making intercession for us. He is our advocate. When we make a mistake we bring it before his throne and he makes the intercession for us. When he steps off of that mercy seat to rapture away his bride, there will be no more mercy for he will no longer be our priest, he will be our King. And he will be our judge. And he will sit in the judgment seat and judge every man by his own word.

But today, at least at the writing of this blog, he is on the mercy seat. One day somebody may be reading this, and it will be too late. This morning he is on the mercy seat. This afternoon, he may not be there anymore, but right now at this moment he is still making intercession for us. But I digress for the moment.

So then “if ye be risen with Christ”. Quite a concept it is indeed. How can we be risen? And how can we be risen with Christ? Did you ever ask that question? Did you get an answer?

To start with, in order to be risen, must we not first die? To be risen, is to resurrect, or to come back to life. Then we must have to be dead in order to come back to life. And truly each and every one of us was dead in trespasses and sin.

Galatians 3:22 But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.

All! Everyone of us was concluded under sin. We were all dead in sin. And anyone who has not been born again is still spiritually dead. Walking, talking, laughing, singing, working, dancing, running and jumping and D-E-A-D dead. It does not matter who you are or who you think you are, if you do not have the Holy Spirit in you then you are absolutely dead. You could be a preacher, a president or a pope and it would not help you; the only true life, the only eternal life, is in Jesus Christ. Hard words but we need to hear them.

But it is not enough to be dead in sin. We need to be dead TO sin.

In order to be brought back to life we must die, to ourselves, to our flesh, and to the sin which dwells in our flesh. It is within our very flesh that sin, unbelief, dwells. Our flesh is lustful. It is evil. Our flesh is so bad that even the Lord God cannot fix it. Our flesh is not redeemed, our souls are. Then we move from our flesh to our theophany. Flesh and blood cannot inherit eternal life. The flesh loves fleshly pleasures that are contrary to the will of God.

Galatians 5:17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

That is not my word but God’s very own holy word. The lusts and desires of our flesh, of my flesh, of your flesh, are totally and completely contrary to the will of God. They work against God. In order to be the children of God we must be overcomers of sin and of this flesh. It is not enough to hold our flesh prisoner, it will escape. That is what we do in the carnal. That is how alcoholics anonymous works. They train themselves to take their flesh prisoner, to control their urges, to quit doing the bad thing. But the desires are still there and one day when you are least expecting it those desires will rear up and overtake you and you are back at square one. You never overcame, and the reason you never overcame is that your sin never died.

If you do not die to your sin then your sin is still alive in you!

Look at cancer. How is it treated? The doctors will cut our most of it from you, but there is still some left, and if more is not done, it will grow and destroy you. We quit smoking, we quit this quit that and think we are fine. We have just cut a few parts of sin away but there is more left just like cancer and just like cancer what is left will grow and destroy you. So the doctor then administers a poison called chemotherapy. The poison is designed to kill the remaining cancer cells. If even one cancer cell is missed by the poison, then it can grow, and with your weakened body from the poison, it will soon devour you. To those who are spiritual, even if every cancerous cell is destroyed, as long as the cancer spirit remains, the cancer can come back. That is how a person can be “cured” of cancer and then die of it ten years later. The spirit that caused it was never cast out. That is the same way a person can quit smoking and then start back up 15 years later. The spirit never left them.

We cut this, and cut that, and get psychology, and seek therapy, and get religious, and come to church, and hang out with new people and cut out a bunch of old habits. But if there is sin left behind, if we do not actually kill the sin then it will grow.

Hebrews 12:15 Looking diligently lest any man fall of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;

Just like cancer, a root of bitterness, an undead sin in us, will spring up when we are least expecting it and defile us. That is why we MUST die to our sin. If we just put off a few things, or quit a few things, then we are not dead yet. We cannot be risen until we are first dead! Let me repeat that so it sinks in. We cannot be risen until we are first dead!

People will ask, “what must I do to get the Holy Spirit?” DIE! Die to your sin so that you can be risen with Christ. Die a death as sure as if you put a gun to your head and blew your brains across the room. But the death is a spiritual one, not physical.

Romans 6: 3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Christ were baptized into his death? 4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in the newness of live. 5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection. 6 Knowing this that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. 7 for he that is dead is freed from sin. 8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him.

Do you see it? Did you get all that? Lets look at it more closely:

Romans 6: 3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Christ were baptized into his death?

How were you baptized? Were you baptized into a church? That is what the Jehovah witnesses do. Not into Christ but into a church. Most denominations will baptize you into titles of father son and holy ghost. But look what the scripture says, we must be baptized into Christ. Then and only then are we baptized into his death. But there is more.

4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in the newness of live.

Buried in baptism. Not sprinkled with him, but buried with him in baptism. A full immersion in water is required or the Lord does not recognize it. Jesus was placed in a tomb. Then we must walk in the newness of life. A new life. We must live a new life. If we are not living a new life, with new ideas and new desires then we are not yet dead to our sin. That is the problem, we get so excited to baptize people that we are baptizing live people. We are burying live people. You cannot bury someone until they are dead. The Bible says to repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sin. Repent, die unto sin, then be baptized. Without repentance you will simply go in a dry sinner and walk out a wet sinner. A spiritual zombie. We will think we are OK, but according to the Word of God, we are not.

5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection. 6 Knowing this that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

Our old man is crucified with him. The body of sin is destroyed. Is our old man crucified this morning, or just kept under raps until we get out of church and away from other Christians? Are we dead to sin? Are you serving sin in your life? If so then you are not dead to sin yet.

7 for he that is dead is freed from sin.

There it is in one line. “He that is dead is freed from sin.” There is your answer. There is my answer. If we are dead then we are free from sin, therefore if we are not free from sin then we are not yet dead. One leads directly to the other.

8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him.

And there is the fulfillment, “if we be dead with Christ we shall also live with him”. So to put it together, if we are dead then we are free from sin and thus we will live with him.

If we are still serving sin, then we are not yet dead, and we will NOT live with him.

Now there is a difference between serving sin and making mistakes. You and I will make mistakes until the very moment of the rapture. Every one of us will fall short. We are in the flesh and thus quite imperfect. The difference is, are you serving sin? Are you pandering to your lusts? We all have lusts. Do we sin wilfully? Anyone who says they are not tempted is a liar. The flesh we live in, that we just heard, wars against the spirit, but do we pander to our lusts, or do we do as the Apostle Paul did?

1 Corinthians 15:31 I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.

“I Die Daily”.

Not once years ago when we became Christians, but each and every day of our lives, we either put our flesh to death, or we pander to it. It is not just to not do things, but to not want to do them. As Christians we become an incredible paradox, the desires of our hearts and the desires of our bodies are completely different. We will look into that in a few minutes.

Romans 6:16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness:

Who do we obey. Who do you obey? Who were you obeying last night, last Tuesday? Who will you obey tonight? Sin is of the devil. If we have not crucified our flesh and died unto sin, then in serving and obeying sin, we are servants of the devil. Let that sink in. Hear it and understand it. If we are serving sin, then we are servants of the devil.

If we sin wilfully, then we are wilfully serving Satan.

Nobody here wants to serve the devil. If you did, you would not be reading a Christian Blog, and certainly would not have gotten this far in it. But that is how deceiving it is. That is how he sneaks in. When Eve disobeyed God and listened to the serpent, she was serving the devil. She didn’t realize it at the time, but she was doing it. Every time we serve our sin, our lusts, we serve Satan. Remember that. Every time we pander to our lusts, we are serving the one that makes us sick. Every time we obey our lusts we are serving the one who is killing us. Think about it.

Hebrews 9: 14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

Purge your conscience of dead works.

When we receive Christ he purges our conscience of dead works. Our flesh is still evil. We still have fleshly lusts that war against the soul, but now we have a new desire. Here is the paradox. Our body wants to do one thing, but our minds and hearts have a desire to do the opposite. It does not make sense to the carnal mind and in fact it seems quite mad. Our minds and hearts want to do things that do not please our flesh, things that do not bring us pleasure in the flesh, and not do things that our flesh finds very pleasurable.

And we fight a war daily with our flesh, crucifying it with Christ, so that when he comes, and he will come so very soon, we will be with him and be made like him. Lets continue our original scripture for a moment.

Colossians 3:5 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, with is idolatry: 6 For which things sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience: 7 In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them. 8 But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. 9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; 10 and have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:

That’s pretty straight. You know your lives. I know my life. God knows our lives. We all have our individual weaknesses and the devil will attack you where you are weakest. But “mortify your members”. Kill them! Die unto sin and live!

Without Christ it is all impossible. If it were possible then he died in vain. But it is not possible without him. We have to meet Jesus Christ in person. It is not good enough to sit in church and hear about him. That is good, very good, but not good enough. We need the new birth. And it comes, as the fleshly birth, in three steps. And it has an amazing result on our lives.

Ezekiel 36 25: Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. 26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: an d I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. 27 and I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments and do them. 28 and ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God. 29 I will also save you from all your uncleannesses; and I will call for the corn, and will increase it, and lay no famine upon you. 30 And I will multiply the fruit of the tree, and the increase of the field, that ye shall receive no more reproach of famine among the heathen. 31 Then shall ye remember your own evil ways, and your doings that were not good, and shall loathe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and for your abominations.

Can  you see it coming together? First we get a new heart where we are sorry for our lives and realize that we need salvation, then a new spirit that makes us desire the things of God, his holiness and righteousness, then the Holy Spirit which imparts God’s holiness and righteousness to us. Water, blood and spirit. Justification, sanctification and filling.

And look at the results. First we receive the blessings of the Lord, the salvation of the Lord, Justification. We still have desires. We have guilt. But he removes the guilt. He washes it away. Then the sanctification where he cleanses us from all our uncleanness and iniquities. Then comes the paradox into us. We will loathe our own selves because of our fleshly lusts and the lives we used to live where we catered to those lusts which God calls abominations. God calls our own ways evil. My way is evil. Your way is evil. God’s way is good. Only God’s way is good. And He gives us the Holy Spirit. It is that Holy Spirit that empowers us.

Your flesh will fight against God’s way, which is in his word, and will hate it for God’s way crucifies your flesh in the lusts thereof.

Life is a series of decisions. We are given free choice in this life. We choose our final destination. Each and every one of us decides where we go. If you go to heaven, that was your choice, if you go to hell, that is also your choice. But those choices are wrapped up in the myriad of other choices we make every minute of every day. With every though, every word and every action, we have to decide how we are going to react.

You had to decide whether to come to church or not. You have to decide whether to believe what I am saying or not believe it. You have to decide whether even to listen. You have to decide whether or not you will receive Jesus Christ. You do that party by deciding whether or not you will believe and obey his word.

This is the word of God. If you accept it you are accepting God, and if you reject it you are rejecting God. My words are nothing, but His word is all powerful. What is more important to you, God or the world? Decide. What is more important to you God or your friends? God or your popularity? God or your reputation? God or your career? God or your fashions? God or your pride? God or your church?

Decisions, decisions, and each one leads you on a path. There is a way which seemeth right unto man, the end thereof is death. Straight is the gate and narrow is the way that leads to life and few there be that find it. Eve had to decide. Cain had to decide. Even Jesus had to decide whether or not to go to Calvary for you. he had to decide whether or not to accept the devils offers in the wilderness.

You want to be raptured? You are deciding right here and now whether or not you will be raptured. Did you realize that? We will be judge on our lives by this Holy Revealed Word of God. Either we crucify our flesh and live with Christ or do the opposite.

Hebrews 6:4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, 5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, 6 if they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

When we hear this word of God we either accept it and crucify ourselves, or we reject it and crucify Jesus Christ afresh. I’ll let that sink in real deep. If we receive the word of God then we will crucify our flesh.

If we reject the word of God then we crucify Jesus Christ afresh.

You know Israel was given the word of God, and they rejected it at Kadesh Barnea. And when they rejected it they died. Two million people left Egypt with Moses, they were all Israelites, they all had the prophet and his message, they all ate manna, they all were baptized in the sea with Moses and they all died. All but two. Two out of two million.

There are some 3 billion people who call themselves Christians today. If numbers hold true then only 3000 people will be raptured from the whole planet. 8000 go missing every day in the United States alone, so 3000 from the whole planet would not be missed. The United States makes up 5% of the worlds population so statistically they will only loose 800 people in the rapture. Canada is one tenth the size. Are you going to be one of the 80 people in Canada that are raptured?

How many will be raptured? FEW! That is all we know. Could be 80 from Canada, could be eighty thousand, could be 1.

I’ve mentioned this before. If you run the numbers, there could have been as many as 13,000,000,000 people on earth in Noah’s day. That is twice the population of today. And of all those people only one was raptured.

I am not trying to depress you. I am not trying to make you sorry but to a Godly sorrow, for a Godly sorrow brings repentance, and repentance brings life. Don’t start thinking it is impossible. With the Lord nothing is impossible. It is so easy to receive eternal life. It is the easiest thing in the world to do. It has no price for the price was paid 2,000 years ago at Calvary. You don’t have to work for it. You do not have to buy it for it was already purchased for you by Jesus. Eternal life is absolutely free, and absolutely available to everyone here. Every man, woman and child here this morning can receive Jesus Christ into their hearts. Every single soul here can receive the Holy Spirit right now. Some already have received it. And every single soul that is filled can be refilled right now.

All you have to do to receive eternal life is to accept it. The pillar of fire is right there in the room with you. All you have to do is crucify your flesh. All you have to do is decide that the Word of God is right, and everything contrary is wrong, and leave your old life and follow Christ. Believe and obey the Word of God and you have eternal life! Jesus said he who believes and is baptized shall be saved and he who believes not shall be damned. So believe! Cast off all doubt and believe the word of God.

Only Believe! All things are possible if we only believe.

The Christian world, with all its denominations and organizations has rejected the word of God in favour of dogmas and creeds which are contrary to the Bible. Are we rejecting the Word of God? Look to the Bible, whatever it says is right. Anything that contradicts the Bible is wrong. It is that simple. It does not matter what you were thought, what your Sunday school teacher told you, what your preacher said, what the science journals say, what the TV says, if it is not word upon word, line upon line, precept upon precept, here a little there a little exactly according to the Bible it is wrong.

Our flesh is contrary to the Bible. Our flesh is wrong. Our carnal minds are contrary to the Bible. Our carnal minds are wrong. Our carnal minds cannot understand spiritual things. We cannot figure out the Lord God. The word must be revealed to us by the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is the light of the world and it is only through him that we can understand anything spiritual. And the holy spirit will always point us back to the word of God.

People will tell you that God told them to do something, yet what they are doing is contrary to the word. It cannot be God for God cannot contradict himself. Yet they will be very religious in their doings.

2 Timothy 3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 for men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent et, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

Very religious, having a form of godliness, but their flesh is not crucified. Look at the works described here and compare it to the fruit of the spirit.

Galatians 5: 19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 meekness, temperance: against such there is no law 24 and they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

Can you see the difference? Men are lovers of their own flesh but we are told to crucify our flesh. If we love our flesh then we will fulfill the lusts thereof and crucify the Lord, but if we loved the Lord, then we will crucify our flesh with its lust. If we crucify our flesh and die to sin, then indeed we will raise with him, and are already risen with him and sitting in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

2 Timothy 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned to fables.

This word of God is power. When we hear the word it goes to our roots. If we accept it, the word washes us clean and sets us free, but if we reject it, that same word will condemn us. If we do not crucify our flesh, if we love our own selves, then we will not be able to endure a word that condemns our flesh. If we love the Lord, then we will love how the word circumcises our hearts and ears. We will love how the word of God cuts away our flesh. We will love how receiving the word of God crucifies our flesh with the lusts thereof. If we are not living the word, then we will be condemned by it.

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than a two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

God knows our every word, and our every move, and our every thought. When you hear his word, it will reveal what is inside you. It is better than any X-ray, better than any CAT scan, better than an ultrasound. God’s word cuts deeper than any of them. It cuts away at your flesh and not just at the surface, but deep into the bones and marrow. God’s word goes so deep that it reveals the thoughts and intents of the heart. Not just your thoughts, but the very motives behind your thoughts. Every desire, every lust, every want, every like and every dislike is open to him. He knows exactly what you are thinking about what I am saying, and why you are thinking it.

Our flesh cannot stand it. If our flesh is alive then it will flee from the presence of God, it will flee from the word. Our flesh hates the word of God. Our flesh is God’s enemy. Our fleshly carnal minds are God’s enemy.

If we crucify that flesh, then we will be able to endure sound doctrine, which is the Word of God, and we will be risen with Christ. And if we are risen with Christ we will seek those things above.

2 Corinthians 5: 14 For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead; 15 And that he died for all that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again. 16 wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have know Christ after the flesh yet now henceforth know we him no more. 17 Therefore if any man b e in Christ, he is a new creature; old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 18 And all thins are of God who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation.

We must become A new creation in Christ Jesus.

The new birth is not just a figure of speech, it is not a ceremony, it is a literal birth of a new person, a new human being, a new creature. Old things are passed away. Things you used to love, you now hate, and things you used to hate, you now love. Things that meant everything to you are now garbage. Things you were proud of you are now ashamed of. Things you would have been ashamed of are now your greatest treasures.

Are you changed? Have old friends commented on how they liked the old you better? People wonder what happened to you? People who used to be your friends now want nothing to do with you and avoid you? That is because you are not you anymore. You are now a brand new person. That is the new birth, it takes a twofold child of hell and rebirths them as a child of God.

It is a mystery indeed and the greatest miracle of all. God took Saul of Tarsus, a pompous religious murderer, and turned him into Paul the humble apostle and prophet messenger. God took the shameful creature that I was and made the creature I am now. God took the shameful creature that you were and made the creature you are now.

When you are born again you are the same person, but not the same person. You have the same mind, but with different thoughts in it. You have the same heart but a different spirit in it. Your desires change. Your tastes change. Your motives change. Your treasures change. Your goals change. Your priorities change. Your likes change. Your dislikes change. You become a brand new person. Even my tastes for food changed!

When you are born again, you become the person that God had in His mind when he wrote your name in the Lamb’s Book of Life before the foundation of the world. The predestinated seed will accept the Word of God. The predestinated seed will crucify their flesh. The predestinated seed will receive the holy spirit. The predestinated seed will believe every word in the Bible. Jesus Christ is the Word of God made flesh. The predestinated seed is the Bride of Jesus Christ and just as Adam’s bride was a part of him, so is Christ’s bride a part of the Word of God.

It is up to us to choose, live for our flesh, or live for Christ. Crucify our flesh, or crucify Jesus. All we have to do is accept him, accept his word, believe his word and cry out to him.

Romans 10:  8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 for with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 for the scripture saith, whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. 12 for there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

You want salvation? Cry out! Confess Jesus Christ with your mouth. Do you believe he is here? Prove it. Talk to him. Cry out to him. If you saw him standing in front of you with your eyes you would all cry out and rush to him. He is there with you right now, closer to you than your own breath. The pillar of fire is right there. Cry out to him and be saved. Do you believe on him? The word says if you believe you will not be ashamed. Fear is a spirit. Resist the devil and he shall flee from you. Praise God!

Praise God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, with all your body. Let every facet of your being cry out to the Lord Jesus Christ this moment, and receive of him. He is knocking at your heart this moment. Receive him and he will come into you and sup with you, and you with him. He will be your God, your saviour, your healer, your deliverer, your redeemer, your friend.

Do it today, do it now, tomorrow may well be too late.

May the peace and grace, power and majesty of the Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

Think of your audience first.

As Christians we are all zealous to spread the word of God. We want to share this wonderful gift with the whole world. We want everyone to benefit as we have. We want them to experience healing, deliverance, salvation. We want the Lord to work in their lives in signs, wonders and miracles as he does in ours. And we want the devil destroyed, and his works destroyed along with him.

The new birth is like the physical birth. Water, blood and spirit in proper order. When a physical baby is born, first the water breaks, then comes the blood, then the life of the baby. It is the same with the new birth, the spiritual birth. We become Christians only through the new birth. We cannot join Christianity, we must be born into it. For verily the Lord Jesus told us that except we be born again we shall in no wise see the kingdom of God.

First comes the water, the justification. As Ezekiel words it, our heart of stone is removed and we are given a heart of flesh. We are sinners, lost, strangers and foreigners, alienated from the kingdom of the Lord God. We are blind and in total darkness. Then the Lord Jesus justifies us. The Holy Spirit speaks to our heart through the revealed word of God. He is the one who reveals it to us. Someone brings us the word and the Holy Spirit makes it real, opens our eyes to the light, and witnesses to our heats that it is the absolute, unerring truth. We are convicted. We repent and get baptized in full immersion in water in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of our sins as we are commanded in Acts 2:38. We are now cleansed of our sin. Cleansed of ALL sin. In the eyes of God we are perfected. When he looks upon us he sees only the blood of Jesus Christ covering us. We are now guiltles for we have entered into the blood covenant of Jesus Christ.

But that is not enough. It is a start, and a good one, but we need to push out into the deep. We now need the blood applied to our life. We need to apply the blood to every aspect of our beings. The blood sanctifies us, delivers us from all evil, all iniquity, all sinfullness. It frees us and separates us from the world. It overcomes our flesh. Our flesh will remain sinfull until the rapture, but now our hearts hate the sin that we used to revel in. Sanctification makes us pure. Sanctification sets us apart for service.

Then Acts 2:39 can be fulfilled. We are filled with the Holy Spirit in the baptism of fire. Now the very God of heaven dwells inside of us. Our life is over and we live, not by our life, but by his life. We are branches grafted into the vine of Jesus Christ; his life sustains us and we bear the fruit of the Holy Spirit.

Are we done? NO! We have only begun. We are born again, babies. Now we must grow to the adoption where the Lord God places us as sons and daughters.

When dealing with people we need to look at where they are on this path. Are they even on this path yet? We need to tailor our message to them personally. We need to be in tune with the Holy Spirit so that He can tell us what to say and when.

To the sinner we speak of sin and righteousness and the salvatin of Jesus Christ. It is very black and white and we are duty bound to keep it as straight as possible. Greyness is of the devil. It is either good, or bad. There is nothing in between. Can a river give good water and bitter water at the same time?

To the justified we speak of the deliverance and overcoming power of the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. We share our testimonies. We pray with them. We teach them. To the Holy we speak of the deeper spiritual things. To the Holy, the new born seed, we uncover the message of the hour. To the holy we speak of deep truths.

To the adopted, we often just let them speak to us.

The Mark of the Beast

The Mark of the Beast from a Biblical perspective

There was a time they thought the mark of the beast was a brand, like on cattle. Then they thought it was a tattoo. Some supposed it might be your Social Security Number, others a credit card. Now some think it is a computer chip. But what does the word of God say?

Revelation 13: 16 And he caused all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: 17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. 18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

First let me preface with the thought that every true doctrine of scripture can find its root in Genesis and it harvest in Revelation. These are the two most important books in the Bible because they anchor every single idea. If we cannot find the root in Genesis and the fruit in Revelation, then there is something wrong with our idea and we must go back and start over.

As such the “mark of the beast” must also be found in both Genesis and Revelation.

Next we have to understand that only the Lord God can create. The Bible calls him “the” great creator, not “a” great creator. So if only the Lord can create, then everything that the devil has must be a perversion of something that the Lord God had already created. For example a lie is simply a perversion of the truth. Adultery is a perversion of a righteous act between a man and his wife. Theft is a perversion of righteous ownership. Sickness is a perversion of health and death merely a perversion of life.

The “mark of the beast’ must therefore be a perversion of a mark or seal that God first created. To understand the mark of the beast, we must first find the mark of the Lord.

Ezekiel 9: 3 And the glory of the God of Israel was gone up from the cherub, whereupon he was, to the threshold of the house. And he called to the man clothed with linen, which had the writer’s inkhorn by his side; And the Lord said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.

Here we see the angel of the Lord passing through the city of believers and marking them upon their foreheads. Notice the devil’s mark is on the forehead too for he must copy God, but in a perverted manner.

Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

Let us immediately dispense with the idea that “sealed” and “mark” are different. The original Greek word that we translated into sealed is “sphragizo” which means “to put a mark on an object to show possession, authority, identity, or security” (Strong’s Strongest Concordance). The “seal” of God is the “Mark” of the Lord to show possession by the Holy Spirit. This is why the Bible says in

Romans 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

The Seal of the Lord is the “Mark of God” which shows the owner ship and possession of the Lord upon us.

The “Mark of the Beast” therefore shows the ownership of Satan upon people as well.

Romans 6: 16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

Here I have to get into the meat. This will be hard from some to take, but it is the Word of God. We are all owned. We all have a master. We are all servants (Doulos [Greek] slaves) to a spiritual master. That master lives in our hearts. We now can easily identify who our master is; our master is the one we yield ourselves to obey. If we are yielded to the Word of God, then the Lord is our master. If we are yielded to the world, to the flesh, to sin, then Satan is our master, and we are his willing slaves.

The Bible tells us what that seal of God is. We are sealed, marked, with the Holy Spirit. The baptism of the Holy Spirit is the seal, or mark, of the Lord God. Here is a second scripture to cement that idea.

Ephesians 1: 3  In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

Now that we understand what the “Mark of God” is, let us look at how it is applied.

Acts 2: 1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

The pillar of fire came into their presence split apart and rested upon the foreheads of all that were present. The Lord God sealed them by placing his mark, the “Mark of the Lord God” upon the foreheads of the people. Remember in Ezekiel he sent the angel to mark them upon their foreheads as well. And now when we look into Revelation we see the “mark of the beast” upon the forehead, we understand why. Let us take one more scripture to seal this idea for us.

Revelation 7: 2 And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.

There should be no doubt now. The “Mark of the Lord” is the sealing of the person with the Holy Spirit, which signifies the ownership of the Lord upon them. It seals the man/woman as the servant of the Lord God. It is the token, the redemption, the pledge of God to redeem his own. It is important here to tell you how to get that seal. Verily I would be remiss in my duties as a human being if I failed.

Acts 2: 38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

The one and only prescription given in the Bible for us to receive the “Mark of God”, the baptism of the Holy Spirit is to repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. Surely you are thinking infant baptism, sprinkling, baptism in titles, all equate. To man they may, but not to the Lord God. He gave us a specific command. If we yield ourselves to obey that command, then we will receive the Holy Spirit. If we yield to another voice, then we do not belong to the Lord.

Acts 19:  And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples, 2 He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost. And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John’s baptism. Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus. When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.

In this verse we see Apollos, a man that the Bible called a “mighty preacher”, was not sealed. When the apostle and prophet Paul met him, he determined that Apollos was not properly baptized. Apollos had not come through the provided way. So Paul told Apollos of the only accepted baptism, of the direct command of the Lord, and Apollos obeyed and was then immediately sealed with the Holy Spirit.

Apollos believed. He was living a clean life. He was baptized, just not according to the prescribed method in the Bible. He was baptized by John the Baptist, yet even that did not count. He was preaching the gospel. He was turning souls to Christ. Yet he was not sealed and he did not yet have remission of sins. He had not entered into the blood covenant of Jesus Christ. He did not have the “Mark of God” upon his forehead. Apollos was a good and righteous man, a church going believer, and even a pastor of a church, yet the Lord could not render unto him the baptism of the Holy Spirit until he obeyed the command of God concerning it. Now if the Lord held a man like Apollos to that standard, he must also hold us to it or he is a hypocrite.

If you or I have not repented and been baptized in accordance with scriptures by full immersion in water in the name of Jesus Christ, then we must do it in order to obtain the seal of the Lord God. If we reject it, then we are not yielding to the Lord, we are yielding to the other guy. The Lord has given us an example to follow. We will either yield ourselves to obey the Word of the Lord and be his servants, or we will reject the Word of God in favour of our dogmas, traditions and creeds and be servants of the devil. It’s a hard word, but true.

We have determined that the “Mark of God” is the baptism of the Holy Spirit, that it is preceded by full repentance and water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ. We have also seen that the devil cannot create and that everything he has is a perversion of something that the Lord God created. So now let us look at what the “mark of the beast” must be. It is a perversion of the “Mark of God”, it is on the forehead, or (perversion) on the hand. And it must be found in Genesis.

Genesis 4: 15 And the Lord said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the Lord set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him. 16 And Cain went out from the presence of the Lord, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.

The first mark of the beast occurred in Eden. Cain received a mark and immediately went out from the presence of the Lord. He was sealed. There was no more mercy, no more grace for him at that point. The “mark of the beast” is the rejection of the Lord Jesus Christ. It is the rejection of the Holy Spirit. The “mark of the beast” seals us out from mercy, from grace, from the blood of Jesus Christ. It seals our doom.

Let us look at this taking into account what we read in Romans. There used to be a celebration every 50 years called Jubilee. At Jubilee the trumpet was sounded and any slave who heard the sound could walk free. If, however, the slave decided that the preferred his master, he was taken to the gate of the city and his ear pierced with and awl and he was a slave forever. Now you see why Christians are so against ear piercing? It is a covenant of slavery.

Exodus 21: And if the servant shall plainly say, I love my master, my wife, and my children; I will not go out free: Then his master shall bring him unto the judges; he shall also bring him to the door, or unto the door post; and his master shall bore his ear through with an awl; and he shall serve him for ever.

Now put that into the context of the New Testament.

2 Thesalonians 2: 10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Those who reject the gospel, who reject the message of the hour, who reject the Holy Spirit, are sent a strong delusion that they would believe a lie. It has been the same in every age. When Ever rejected the message of Adam, she was sent a strong delusion and believed the lie of the Serpent. Every sin, sickness, suffering and death is a result of that. Moses had a message, those who rejected it perished. Jesus said they are dead. Noah had a message and those who rejected it perished. The Bible says they are in hell. When we reject the message for our day, the gospel, then we will perish. We will believe a lie and be damned for it. The devil, our master, will pierce our ear and we will never receive revelation on the Word of God, forever. We pass beyond the realms of grace. And for the most part we will not even know it.

Think you can come back from that?

Revelation 14: 11 And the smoke of their torment ascends up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever received the mark of his name.

Once we receive the “mark of the beast” it is unto our damnation. Damnation upon “whosoever” received it. You see once you receive it there is no going back because you will now believe the devil’s lies and thus never believe the truth of the gospel. You will be religions no doubt, but never holy. Think it impossible?

2 Timothy 3: This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

These folks are extremely religious having a “form of godliness”. They go to church every Sunday, sing in the choir, run outreach programs, preach, run charities etc etc. Outwardly to the world they seem holy. But to the Lord God they are abominable for they have rejected Jesus Christ and taken for doctrine the commandments of men. They rejected God’s word in favour of dogmas and creeds, psychology and tradition. They have education, doctors of divinity even, “ever learning and NEVER coming to the knowledge of the truth”. They will never be saved for they cannot be saved. They will never know Jesus Christ. They will never receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit for they have already receive the mark of the beast, and don’t even know it.

That is the worst part of it. Because the world, the religious world, the nominal church doesn’t even know what the mark of the beast is, hundreds of millions have already received it and do not even know it. They will never come to the knowledge of the truth for they rejected it long ago.

Don’t be looking for tattoos or computer chips. Look to what the Bible says about it. Receive the love of the truth, receive the revealed word of God, and yield yourself to obey it. Do this and the Lord will put his mark upon you. Reject it and the devil will claim you and you won’t even know it has happened. Verily the Sunday after the rapture the churches will all be full and the preachers will be pointing to a rapture that has already passed for when they were given the truth, they rejected it, and were sent a strong delusion. Their ears were pierced. They were marked.

Now let us take a moment and look at the other end of that first scripture. Here it is again for reference:

Let us look at this in the light of another scripture about this man.

2 Thessalonians 2: Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sits in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

The Number of His Name is 666

The name “Vicarius Filii Dei” means “Vicar of Christ” or “In Place of Christ”. The pope calls himself infallible. The name Vicarius Filii Dei is inscribed upon his golden crown. The Catholic Church believes that he cannot make a mistake. Only God is perfect. This is the man of sin, who sits in the temple of God, “vicarius filii dei” showing himself to be God. The number of his name, the Roman Numeral number of his Roman name is none other than 666 as this figure shows clearly.

Literally hundreds of millions of people have received the Mark of the Beast, and don’t even know it. This is sad, so very sad. Don’t be a statistic.

Jesus suffered, bled and died for our sin, for your sin, and rose again to sit on the right hand of power making intercession for the Saints. Fifty days later was the feast of Pentecost. It was our Jubilee. One hundred and twenty souls gathered in the upper room in Jerusalem were the first to be sealed by God. They immediately hit the streets. Then another 3,000 souls were added that same day. The jubilee trumpet sounded, the gospel of Jesus Christ. It is still sounding today. Hear the trumpet sound and receive your freedom. Receive the revealed word of God for the hour. Enter the blood covenant of Jesus Christ, wash away your sins, and live forever with him.

It is not enough to know about Jesus, we have to know Jesus. Christianity is not a religion, it is not an organization, it is a personal relationship between the Lord God and individuals, through the body and blood of Jesus Christ and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. Christians know Jesus Christ personally, because Jesus Christ personally lives inside of them.

Get marked by God! Get the token of God’s grace and mercy. Today!

Called Us to Glory

Subject: Church vs. Bride

 

And the Spirit of the Lord descended like a Dove
And the Spirit of the Lord descended like a Dove and remained upon him.

I have talked with many people who are put off by religion in general. I too had the same attitude towards churches and religion. Then I realized that there is a difference between the church and the bride of Christ. There is a difference between them that call themselves Christians and those who God calls Christians. I found out that the book of Acts is being replayed in the lives of real Christians all across the planet every day. When I met Jesus Christ for myself, then the book of Acts started playing out in my life too.

This sermon is for you. God gave me this scripture and opened it up to me by revelation from the Holy Spirit that I might be able to pass that same gift on to you. But as I always caution people, do not believe me, do not take my word, but go back to the scriptures and see if what I tell you is right. And if it lines up with the scriptures then accept it. Take God’s word for it. Our absolute must be the Bible.

Here I have taken my original notes that I used to preach on the subject, and edited them to make them readable. I pray that you might find them useful. As such I would like to take for a text John chapter 17 and verse 22. And for a subject on that text I would like to concentrate on the theme of the Glory of Jesus Christ and how we are called to glory. And for a subtext we will observe how the Church and the Bride are not one and the same.

John 17:22 And the glory which you gave me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one.

Here we see Jesus at the end of his ministry praying openly for his followers. After reading this scripture a number of questions came to mind. I find that learning is often better served by asking the right questions, rather than just trying to find better answers to less perfect questions.

This is a very short scripture indeed but it carries an enormous message for us. It says that God gave Jesus glory. And it then says that Jesus gave out that same glory to a select group of people. Then it says he did it so that they might become one even as Jesus and God are one. This simple scripture brought up ten interrelated questions in my mind.

  1. What is Glory? Is it tangible or figurative?
  2. How did God give glory to Jesus?
  3. When was this glory given?
  4. How did He, in turn, give it away?
  5. When did He give it?
  6. Who, exactly, does He give it to?
  7. How do we qualify to get it?
  8. How do we know we have it?
  9. Can we loose it once we have it?
  10. How does this glory make us one with each other?

The answers to all ten questions are woven so tightly together that in order to properly answer one we have to answer all ten. And we will know if each answer is right because the scripture must run true; line upon line, word upon word, precept upon precept, here a little and there a little. If our doctrine gets to a point where we get stuck in a scripture then that is a sign our doctrine is completely wrong. The Bible always perfectly agrees with itself!

Paul said that if we preach anything different than what is written we are accursed, Peter said if we wrestle against any scripture we do so to our own damnation and John said if we add or take away we are given plagues and our names removed from the book of life. We must stay with the written word of God. If we get to a point where we have to explain away a scripture to make our doctrine work then that is a sign that our doctrine is wrong and we must go back and start over.

So the answers to all ten questions must all agree with each other in the scripture or we have to go back and start over. And each and every answer must run with the message as well for it is the Revealed Word of God for the Hour. The prophet told us to preach what is on the tapes. He didn’t mean to quote him like a parrot, to preach Jesus whom Branham preaches like the seven vagabond sons did in Paul’s day earning for themselves a good beating and demonic possession. He meant that if our doctrine does not line up with what is put down on the tapes and vindicated by the Holy Spirit in signs wonders and miracles, then we had better fix our doctrine because we are wrong.

So let’s, by the grace of God, get some Bible answers for these Bible questions.

Our scripture here says that Jesus got Glory and gives Glory. He gives his glory to a select, special, elect group of people. And it is the same glory that God gave to Him. So let’s start by finding out exactly what is glory?

The original word for Glory found in the Bible is the Greek word Doxa, which means Splendor, Brilliance, Awesome Light that radiates from God’s presence associated with acts of power, honour and praise. That is a pretty big definition. Today we think of glory as popularity or public notoriety but the Bible has a very different definition. There is nothing popular about it.

So what is this Splendor, this Brilliance, this Awesome Light that radiates from the presence of God that is associated with acts of power, honour and praise?

How and when did God give His glory to Jesus. What is the defining moment in scripture when God gives his glory unto the Lord Jesus Christ? He said that God gave it to him, so there must have been a time when he did not have it, a moment at which he received it, and a time in which he carried it. At the time of his speaking in John as we just read, Jesus notes that he has already received it. So we must look back in time to find where and when he got it.

Look at the life of Jesus on earth. Not much is noted about him for the first 30 years of his life. Many have speculated about him in this time and the Bible gives us just enough information to see that they are all wrong. He was not studying with mystics out east etcetera, he was living in Nazareth as a devout Jew working in Joseph`s business as would be the tradition of the time. He lived a normal life.

He had no defined ministry, to the point where the people from Nazareth didn’t think much of him. Sure he was a nice guy, and pretty smart especially about the scripture, never got in trouble as a kid, didn`t run with the bad lot, but he was just a carpenter, one of the boys, one of Joseph’s sons. He grew up down the street and played games with us as kids. There was nothing too great or spectacular about him. He was not a pretty boy either. The Bible says that there was no beauty in Jesus that men should be attracted to him. He lived as one of us, an ordinary average guy.

The people from Nazareth where he grew up and lived could not believe that He was the messiah. When He came back to them they didn’t believe. He couldn’t even work miracles there because there was no faith in the people. They could not wrap their minds around the fact that this fellow from down the street was a prophet, priest and king. He was the great I AM but his neighbors could not see it. He was the saviour of the world but his friends, those who should have known him best, were blind to it. Isaiah chapter six says that he was “Prince of peace, the councillor, the mighty God, the everlasting Father”. Here was God himself, the creator of all things, veiled in human flesh and the ones who were closest to him could not see him. That should be a humbling wake up call for us. Do we truly see Jesus Christ today? Do we see him for who he really is? Do we have the revelation of the godhead? That is a whole separate sermon, or series of semons.

So when did His ministry start? When did he lay down the carpenter’s hammer and start showing himself as the messiah?

St. John 1:29 The next day John saw Jesus coming unto him, and said, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. 30 This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me. 31 And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water. 32 And John bare record, saying, I saw the spirit of God descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon Him.

John the Baptist was the messenger of God sent to forerun the first coming of the messiah. According to the Old Testament prophet Malachi, John is the third coming, or manifestation, of the spiritual ministry of Elijah. Jesus also confirmed this in the scriptures telling his disciples such. John, God’s prophet messenger, saw a vision of the Holy Spirit of God descending from heaven and resting upon Jesus Christ. The spirit of God, the pillar of fire descended from God and rested upon Jesus Christ like a dove. And it stayed there! The Bible said it “abode” upon him. This was not a one-time transient event, God came and God stayed.

Jesus was always the Word of God manifested in flesh. He was always the only begotten Son of God. For thirty years he walked the earth as a man, but here we see God putting a seal on His son. God was putting an AMEN upon Jesus Christ for the whole world to hear. He sent his prophet ahead and prepared him to make the announcement and then vindicated Jesus Christ as the one anointed Messiah to all mankind. Here God officially says “I approve of you and of your life and of everything that you are, and in thee am I pleased to dwell” and He does it through a vindicated prophet. The glory of God, the pillar of fire, the Holy Spirit comes down from heaven like a dove and rests upon Jesus as a crown of glory for the eyes of the prophet to see.

And it stayed there!

And from that moment and that place in the desert we see the miraculous ministry of Jesus on earth began. He started His ministry AFTER he received the glory from the Father, not before. That is an important note we’ll pick up later. He had the power, wisdom, knowledge, virtue etc. but it was not until AFTER He received glory that he began his ministry. He was the only begotten of the Father. He was the great I Am. He was the Messiah. He was the word of God made flesh the whole time but he did not begin his ministry until after he received glory from God.

So we see God giving His glory, His “Doxa”: His Splendor, His Brilliance, His Awesome Light that radiates from God’s presence associated with acts of power, honour and praise unto Jesus. We see it as the Holy Spirit descending like a dove and abiding on him. All that power, all that splendor, all that brilliance, all that awesome light that radiates from God’s presence with acts of power honour and praise, veiled as a dove and resting solely on Jesus Christ glorifying Him above all that is, was or ever shall be!

The pillar of fire, the spirit of the great creator himself, the fullness of God lightened on the man of Jesus Christ for in him dwelt the fullness of the godhead bodily. Not some, not most, but ALL, the complete fullness of everything that is God was in Jesus Christ. All that God is was poured into the man Jesus. All of God’s glory is given to Jesus. All of God’s splendor is given to Jesus. All of God’ Brilliance is given to Jesus. All of Gods awesome light that radiates from God’s presence associated with acts of power, honour, and praise is given to Jesus. He was all in all. He was the complete fullness of everything that is God. He was the alpha and omega the beginning and the end, the resurrection and the life. Jesus Christ, a man of flesh and blood like you and I, was standing there dripping wet and soggy in the water of the Jordan River beside that prophet with hundreds if not thousands in attendance and the Glory of God resting on him for a testimony to all mankind. THIS IS MY SON AND IN HIM AM I PLEASED TO DWELL!

If you feel blessed now, it is only going to get better. It is so unbelievably wonderful I find myself reading it over and over.

Jesus said the Glory that you gave to me I am giving to them. Oh what a wonderful glory that is. “The glory that you gave to me I give to them”. Now we have to slow a little. Brothers and Sisters in Christ, do you realize what Jesus Christ is saying here? Do you really understand the depths of his statement? We have been splashing in the shallows long enough, let us go out into the deep now.

The glory that God gave to Jesus Christ, he in turn is giving to us.

The Doxa that God gave to Jesus, he is giving to us.

The Splendor that God gave Jesus, Jesus is giving to us.

The Brilliance that God gave Jesus, he in turn is freely giving to us.

The Awesome Light that radiates from God’s presence associated with acts of power, honour and praise that God gave Jesus is now given to us.

Did Jesus take all that Glory that we just talked about, ALL the glory of the complete fullness of all that is God and give it to his elect?  He said he did. He did not say that he gave us a piece of it, or a copy of it, but the very self same glory that Jesus Christ received when the Holy Spirit of God came down in fullness and indwelt him, he in turn has given to his earthly Bride.

Jesus said that he took the glory that God gave to him and gave it to them. Amen? Are you Bride? It is given to you!

So then we must have his splendor. We must have his Brilliance. We must have his awesome light that radiates from God’s presence associated with acts of power…honour…..and praise. We must have it because Jesus Christ said that he gave it to us.

Here is a point of contention that many have brought up through unbelief. I have had many a “scholar” and “theologian” tell me that it was just for the apostles, just for the first church age etcetera but with no scriptural backing. They did not receive the glory so they then have to explain the glory away or humbly repent and receive it. Pride will prevent them from receiving it. So let us look at that argument a moment.

Let us now look to find out who the “them” that Jesus talks about here are? Is he talking about the world in general? Is he referring to the Jews? Does Jesus mean the church? Is he speaking about the apostles only? Or maybe is he talking about the gentiles? Could it be the Catholics, or the Lutherans or the Pentecostals? Who exactly did Jesus give this glory to?

A little confusing isn’t it? If we look to the context of the prayer he was praying we can narrow it down a little.

John 17: 9 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which you have given me for they are thine….20 neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their words.

That helps a lot. Jesus said he would give the glory to those which shall believe on him, who are given to him of the father. So it is not for the Jews per se, and not for the gentiles per se, and certainly not for the world, for Jesus specifically said he is not praying for the world. It is for the believer. It is for those who God has chosen out of the world and given to Jesus Christ to believe on him. And not just for the apostle or the first church age because Jesus specifically said it is “for them also which shall believe on me through their words”. For the first age and for the ages to follow who believe on the words of those from the first age. It is for every single believer down through all time.

Jesus Christ has promised his glory, the same glory which he received, will be given to every believer, regardless of where or when they live. If we believe on Jesus Christ through the words written in the Bible then the promise of the glory of God is for us.

I Peter 5:10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, establish, strengthen, settle you.

Now we can also see that it is not random but that we are called to it by God himself. He has called us unto his eternal glory. The glory is eternal. The glory is not just for a time, not just until the next revival, not until next Sunday, not until you make your next mistake, but the glory of God that Jesus Christ gives unto those that believe on him is forever and ever, time without end, Amen.

If the glory will never fade, will never die and will last forever does that mean once we got it we can never loose it? We’ll see that a little later too. The Glory is eternal. The Holy Spirit, God is the only eternal. There is no eternal life outside of God and only God has eternal life. For us to have eternal life, God himself must be dwelling inside us. Without that indwelling we do not have eternal life.

This is another example of the Holy Scripture running true again. He has called us. We are called by God. We are called but remember many are called but few are chosen.

Now we see another topic showing up. Many are called but few are chosen. Is that what Jesus said, many are called but few are chosen? This pattern runs all through the Bible. There are two groups of believers. There is the Church, called and the Bride, both called and chosen.

Romans 8: 29 For whom He did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the first born among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and who he called, them he also justified: and who he justified, them he also glorified.

The word “predestinated” will get a lot of people’s fur up. But that is the word that God uses. God knew before the first sub-atomic particle was created who would and would not receive his words. He knew how many hairs I would have and how many would be left this morning. And he wrote the names of his children in the Lamb’s book of life before the earth ever existed. Way back beyond eternity God had you in his mind. You are the expressed thought of God. Think about that for a moment. You are the desire of God’s own heart expressed for all to see. Let’s look a little closer now from a different angle.

2 Thessalonians 2:13 But we are bound to give thinks always to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth: 14 Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We are both called and chosen. Is there a difference between those who are called and those who are chosen? Are all who are called also chosen? Jesus said no. So then there are two distinct groups here in these scriptures. Two distinct groups, yet somehow the same group, for the scripture does not differentiate them here. How could that be?

II Peter 1:3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us unto glory and virtue: 4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 5 And besides this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; 6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; 7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. 8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 But he that lacks these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.10 Wherefore the rather brethren, give diligence to make you calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall.

Make your calling AND election sure. We can be both called AND chosen. Two groups made from one! The called out church AND the called out and chosen bride. This relates back to the parable of the ten virgins. There were ten virgins waiting for the bridegroom. They all had their lamps lit, but the bridegroom tarried, and when he finally came, only half of them were ready and the rest were left behind.

Look very carefully here and note that they were all virgins. They were all called. They were all justified. Peter says that those who don’t get chosen, the foolish virgins, “have forgotten that they were purged from their old sins”. The foolish virgins were purged by the blood of Jesus Christ. They repented and were baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins according to Acts 2:38. The foolish virgins were made pure and white just like the wise virgins. But only the wise virgins, only the bride is elected. She is the “elect lady”. Why is this so?

What sets the bride apart from the church? Quite the mystery isn’t it? They are both bride material as we have just seen. They are both called by God for eternal life. They are both pure. Their sins are all washed away by the blood of Jesus Christ, church and bride the same. Their names are ALL written in the Lamb’s book of life from the foundation of the world. Think about it. Both had a testimony with their lamps lit. Both believed and testified the message of the hour. The foolish virgins are message believers.

What is the difference? What sets the Wise virgins apart from the Foolish virgins? The answer is OIL! Amen? OIL! Oil always types the Holy Spirit in the Bible. Things are coming together now. The wise virgins and the foolish virgins all testified of the message and all believed the message but the wise also lived the message and were filled with the Holy Spirit. It is not enough just to be justified. It is not enough even to be sanctified. We must be glorified if we are to be the bride of Christ. Only a glorified bride will be raptured.

Paul said in Thessalonians that we are “called to the obtaining of the glory”. The obtaining or receiving of the glory, the Bride is to be called to the obtaining of the Holy Spirit. All Christians are called to it. That is what the Gospel of Jesus Christ does, it calls us to the obtaining of the glory of God through the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Every Christian is called to it but not every Christian is chosen and elected to it. The whole church is called to it but only the bride is chosen and elect to it. And they all tried to get it. Get this point. They ALL tried to get oil. The foolish virgins just started too late and looked to the wrong source. Isn’t that what the Bible says? Look carefully, they tried to get oil. Let’s look at the scripture.

Matthew 25:7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. 8 And the foolish said unto the wise GIVE US OF YOUR OIL; for our lamps have gone out. 9 But the wise answered saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell and buy for yourselves. 10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.

Do you see it? They all tried to get oil. They knew they needed it but they realized it too late, and they went to the wrong source. They were called for it. They were virgins like the others. But they were lazy. They were lukewarm about it. They did not practice Christianity, they practiced churchianity. They looked to men for salvation for once they realized they needed oil they went to men and not to God. They look to their pastors for their absolute not to God. They were still carnal. Paul preached about it how one said they were of Apollos and another of Paul and another of Cephas. We have the same thing going on today. One of this preacher, and one of that group. It is the spirit of denominationalism. It is not of God.

They were the church. They were justified every one of them. Every one of them was water baptized in the name of Jesus Christ in full emersion. Every one of them believed the message of the hour. Every one of them recognized the Elijah visitation of their day. Every one of them believed the message of the hour. They were even sanctified most of them. But none had gone further. They were still splashing in the shallows and never truly pushed out into the deep. They were satisfied to be good, decent church going citizens.

Ephesians 1:4 according as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: 5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will. 6 to the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

They were most certainly called and they were justified but they were not chosen, not elect, not glorified. God through foreknowledge knew all of us. By this foreknowledge he elected a chosen bride that he knew would keep pushing, keep fighting, keep knocking, keep asking and seeking until the day that he calls them home. This is the group that he elected to be his bride and he elected them out of the called out ones, out of the church.

God called two million Israelites out of Egypt through his prophet Moses. Every one of those people was a believing Israelite. Every one of them followed a vindicated prophet. Every one of them saw signs, wonders and miracles in the desert for forty years. Every one of them was baptized in the Red Sea. Every one of them ate manna in the wilderness and drank from the Rock in the desert. The Bible says so. And of the two million adults that God called through his prophet Moses, he only elected two souls, Joshua and Caleb, to enter into the Promised Land.

What a mystery this is indeed. There is a biblical mystery of glory.

Colossians 1:26 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is make manifest to his saints: 27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

The mystery of glory is Jesus Christ IN you. Christ, the Holy Spirit, the Glory of God, IN you. That is what happened at Pentecost. It is not just Jesus with you. It is not just memorizing scripture. The mystery of Glory is Jesus Christ dwelling inside you. Look what Jesus said of it in John.

St. John 17: 23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

Jesus said “I in them”. The mystery of glory is Jesus Christ literally dwelling and living inside of you. This is the mystery that was hidden for all time. It was hidden from all ages. It was hidden from all generations. This mystery of the baptism of the Holy Spirit was hidden from everyone, even the prophets. And the Bible says that this ageless mystery is now finally is made manifest to his saints. How is this mystery made manifest? It was hidden from everyone. Even Moses didn’t know it. How does God interpret his word? God interprets his word by making it come to pass, is that right? So then he must have interpreted this mystery by making it come to pass too.

Acts 2:14 But Peter, standing up; with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words: 15 For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day. 16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel. 17 AND IT SHALL COME TO PASS in the last days, said God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and you young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams.

This is so beautiful. Slow down here and read carefully so you don’t miss it. How did Jesus Christ give us His Glory, the Glory which he received of the father? The very same way He received it. God does not change so if we got the exact same glory that Jesus received, then we must have gotten it in the exact same way that Jesus received it. If we were baptized by the Holy Spirit we must have been baptized in the exact same way that Jesus was baptized by the Holy Spirit. So where in the Bible do we see people being anointed the same way that Jesus was anointed?

Acts 2:1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

It was the exact same glory and it manifested itself in the exact same way. I hope you see it. It is undeniable in the scriptures. In order for us to receive the Holy Spirit we must receive it in the exact same way that Jesus Christ received it or it is not the same spirit.

The Bible says that there “appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it SAT UPON EACH OF THEM”. And we read that when Jesus received the glory that “God’s spirit descended like a dove and it abode on Him”. Was it the same manifestation? Was it the Same Glory? Or was it different? It had to be the same. AMEN! EXACTLY THE SAME! JESUS CHRIST THE SAME YESTERDAY TODAY AND FOREVER!

It has to be the same or it wasn’t God. And it has to be the same today or it isn’t God. Jesus was baptized in water and then the Holy Spirit, the Glory came to Him and stayed with him. We are baptized in water in His name and His Glory will then come to us and stay with us.

Do you think you can receive the Holy Spirit by being baptized in any other way than Acts 2:38? NO! It is not possible. God has provided a way, Jesus Christ is that way and Jesus said no man can come but by him and all others who try to come any other way are THIEVES AND ROBBERS. (John 10:1 look it up when you get home). We even find that in Acts chapter 19 a group of honest believing Christians could not receive the Holy Spirit because they were not baptized in Jesus name. And we then find that as soon as they were rebaptized in the name of Jesus Christ they received the Holy Spirit.

Now we noted that Jesus didn’t begin his ministry until after he received the glory of the Father. So too did the disciples not minister before they received the glory of Jesus either. In fact they were forbidden from preaching until they were glorified. Jesus said to them to go to Jerusalem and wait. What did he tell them to wait for? Did he say to wait until you get a degree, until some university offers you a PhD? Did he tell them to wait until they were a certain age? Did he tell them to wait until they get voted in by an assembly?

Jesus said to go and wait until you are “endued with POWER from on high”! Go and wait for the Glory of God! The Holy Spirit is the power of God! Not by might, nor by strength, but by my spirit said the Lord. The Holy Spirit is the Splendor of God! It is the Brilliance of God! It is the awesome light that radiates from God associated with acts of power, honour and praise! It is the Holy Spirit that does the works, the signs wonders and miracles in our ministries. It is the Holy Spirit that heals the sick, that raises the dead, that saves and delivers, and prophesies. It is the Holy Spirit that speaks in unknown tongues and interprets tongues.

II Peter 1: 3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue.

The Holy Spirit is power. It is glory. Amen! It is given to us. He gave us “ALL THINGS”. How? Through knowledge of Him who called us to GLORY and virtue. Virtue, that comes up a little later too.

So now we know what the glory is. We know how Jesus got it and when he got it. We know how we are to receive it. We know how he was able to give it to us. We still have only answered half of the questions.

When is it given to us? Good question. That is a very important question. How do we qualify to receive it? That is probably even more important to ask.

We have touched on that a little. We said earlier that we must be both called and chosen, but what does that mean in practical sense. Often we find ourselves quoting a verse and not really understanding how it applies to the here and now. Do we have choices here or is God unfair? Of course we do but God knew what choices we would make before hand so that is how he was able to predestinate us. And then He reveals it to us but not to others.

Mark 4:11 And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables: 12 That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.

So God predestinates us, calls us, and reveals his word to us. He also says that this revelation is only given to the called. If we are not called then we will not know any of the secrets of the Kingdom of God. We might be religious, we might attend church every Sunday, we might even be a preacher, or a bishop or a pope even, but we will have no light to know the meaning of the scriptures. Sure we will be smart. We will even memorize the letter of the Word, but we will be in complete darkness. We will never understand the godhead, baptism, the Lord’s supper, or this topic that we are discussing here.

So how do we go about becoming qualified? Peter tells us in two separate places.

Acts 2:38 Repent every one of you and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit for the promise is unto you and to your children and to all who are afar off even as many as the Lord God shall call.

We mentioned this scripture earlier but is that it? Seems too simple doesn’t it? All we have to do is to repent and be baptized in Jesus name and we are qualified to receive the Holy Spirit? Is that all you have to do? YES! Baptism is straight forward. You get someone to completely immerse you in water and bring you back up again in the name of Jesus Christ and you are baptized according to the Word of God. Simple yes, but who is doing that today? Today if they even will immerse you, it is difficult to find a church that will baptize you in the name of Jesus Christ. They all use titles today but that is not according to the Bible and God will not accept it or count it as a baptism.

But what about repent? That is where we tend to fall down. Repent is not a one time thing. It is ongoing. It is making right what was wrong. How do we make right what is wrong in our lives? How do we sanctify ourselves? God cannot dwell in an unclean vessel. So how do we get clean? We are cleaned by the Word of God. The Bible calls it washing with the pure water of the word. Repent, fix what you broke, get baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, and then get sanctified for your glorification. If you stole something, pay it back. If you lied, go tell the truth.

2 Peter 1: 5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge, 6 and to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; 7 and to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.

What is charity? It is not giving to the poor for Paul writes though I give all I have to the poor and have not charity it profits me nothing. The original Greek word is Agapos which means the love of God. It is not human compassion that the Greeks called Phileo. This love is Holy and pure, this love is God. This love is the Holy Spirit.

It is the Glory, the Splendor, brilliance, awesome light radiating from the presence of God associated with acts of power, honour and praise. Peter said “IF ye do these things you will never fall and you will make your calling AND election sure”.

There are three that bear record on earth, water, blood and spirit. Ezekiel says I will give you a new heart, justification, and a new spirit, sanctification, and MY Spirit, Glorification. But not for all, because some are content with sanctification and some are happy with justification. But there are some that feel that extra tug in their hearts, that sense of urgency, a desperate longing to be in the presence of God. They seek out the oil now, they seek it out daily. They aren’t happy just being church, they want, they need, long to be the bride of Jesus Christ. They do not rest until they have been sealed with that Spirit of promise. And once they are sealed, they still cry out for more of God.

But what of those who don’t? What happens to the church? Where are they in and after the rapture? In the rapture, Jesus says, two will be together, one will be left and the other taken. The rapture will come and go and they will not be included. Then the tribulation strikes the earth. How about receiving glory then? Is it too late for oil, to late for glory after the rapture?

1 Thessalonians 4: 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

There are a couple of points we should note from this scripture. Here we see Paul telling us the series of events that make up what we collectively call the “rapture”. First the dead in Christ are risen. Then we which are still alive are caught up with them in the air. Then we all meet Jesus Christ in the air and remain with him forever. The point we need to see here is that if Jesus is meeting us in the air, he is no longer on the mercy seat making intercession for sins. Once Christ rises off of the mercy seat to claim his bride there will be no more mercy for any gentile anywhere on earth. If we look to Romans chapter eleven we can see that this is confirmed. Paul writes that the eyes of Israel are closed until the fulfillment of the gentiles. Once the rapture takes place, there is no more mercy for any gentile, no more salvation available. God then turns to Israel with two prophets, Moses and Elijah who will turn the hearts of 144,000 Israelites to Christ with a message that is vindicated with signs wonders and miracles. And in the book of Revelation we can read this:

Rev 22:10 And he said unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand. 11 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.

Once Jesus gets off that mercy seat, as you are is how you stay. If you are justified you won’t be able to move forward to sanctification, if you are sanctified you won’t be able to move forward to glory. And if you are lost, there is no salvation to be found at all. The church is saved but she is saved Before the rapture. She goes through the tribulation and comes up in the white throne judgment, but her salvation came before the rapture. Don’t take my word for much, but you can believe me on this, “YOU DO NOT WANT TO GO THROUGH THE TRIBULATION!”

Now we have to examine the idea of the Church versus the Bride a little deeper. Let’s look to Abraham for an example back in the book of Genesis. Three “men” came to Abraham one day and Abraham, speaking only to the central character, called him Lord, and the other two went off to Sodom. Notice that the messenger with the message of promise, the Lord, came to Abraham but not to Lot. Lot got the message of impending judgment.

Abraham, the Bride, got a single messenger, while Lot, the church, got multiple messengers. Enoch, the bride, got the message of promise and was raptured, Noah, the church, got the message of judgment and went through the tribulation.

In each age God sent a Single messenger to the bride, and multiple to the church. One Luther and hundreds of others. One Wesley and hundreds of others. One Branham and hundreds of others. The message of the hour is not for the church. It is for the bride alone, for only the bride will receive it. The church can’t take it, she has to try to change it, to water it down or inject her own ideas into it. But the bride, she takes it as it is written, as it is spoken, and believes it and obeys it. She is justified, sanctified and glorified.

Which brings us to the question, can we lose it? Once we are sealed, once we are filled, once we receive the glory of Jesus Christ, can we loose it? This is an easy one to answer.

Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

Can you loose it once you got it? NEVER! If you weren’t ready for it God would never have given it to you, and once he gives it to you He is making the testimony, this is my beloved son/daughter in whom I am pleased to dwell. God’s glory is eternal. God’s life is eternal. Once God puts his seal upon you, once God fills you with the Holy Spirit, once Jesus Christ gives you his glory which he received from the Father, you have it forever.

Here is the tough one. This one has baffled millions for years. This question stumps all the churches; the one question that seems almost without explanation to most people today. This is the question that is still argued about among the “message people”.

How do we know we got it? How do we know that we have the Glory? And taking it a step further, will we know? Will we know that we have the Glory and what will be the sign that we have it? Jesus said we would.

John 14: 20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

So we will know. But how will we know? How do we know for sure if we got it?

Will we have some sensation? Will be speaking in unknown tongues? Will we shout, raise our hand, pass out, scream, run around? Will we believe the message? Maybe we will go hunting with the prophet? Some would almost say that. Is going to church or getting voted in as a deacon or a Sunday School teacher the sign? Is being baptized the sign or maybe taking the Lord’s supper?

What is the defining characteristic of the Holy Spirit in an individual? How did the disciples know they had it? What sign or evidence did Jesus tell them to look for? What were the disciples told to wait for when they were sent to Jerusalem? What ever they were told to wait for must be the sign or else how would they have known whether or not they had it. And since God doesn’t change, whatever was the sign to them in that day MUST be the sign now to us today.

Luke 24: 49 And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you; but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.

What were they told to wait for? What was the sign that Jesus said would be the evidence of the Holy Spirit? POWER! Wait until you get power from on high. The power was the sign, or evidence of the Holy Spirit. The power Peter spoke of:

II Peter 1: 3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue.

POWER! GLORY! VIRTUE! Are you filled with the Holy Spirit? Do you have power? Do you have Power over your flesh. Do you have Power to believe and obey the word of God. Do you have Power to testify about the name of Jesus Christ and all that he has done for you? Do you have power to overcome sin in your life?

It is not the gifts, they are without repentance. Jesus never told them to go and wait until they had spoken in tongues. He never told them to wait for education, or a sensation, or anything else but Power and Power from on High. The power is the Glory of Jesus Christ.

And how does it make us one? Oh my. That one is easy too. We will have One mind. We will all have One spirit. When we are filled with the glory of God, the Holy Spirit, then we will all have the mind and spirit of Jesus Christ. The bride is one with the groom, life of his life, spirit of his spirit. We will be the image of Jesus Christ, the stature of the perfect man. When we have the power we will say AMEN to every word in the Bible. We will believe it, we will obey it. We will think the way God thinks.

1 Corinthians 2:16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct him, but we have the mind of Christ.

If you have the mind of Christ, and I have the mind of Christ, then we both have the same mind, the same thoughts and the same ideas. And if you have the Spirit of God in you, and I have the Spirit of God in me, then we are the same, filled with the same life. We will have the same spirit and the same mind. We will be one. We will be members one of another, members of the body of Jesus Christ. Maybe you are an eyeball and I am a little toe but we belong to the same body. We will have different jobs, and different gifts, but all our gifts will work together to make the body whole.

Ephesians 2:18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. 19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God; 20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone; 21 In whom all the building fitly framed together grows unto an holy temple in the Lord: 22 In whom ye also are built together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

There it is in a nutshell. We are the habitation of God through the spirit. When Jesus gives us the glory that God gave him, we become citizens of the Kingdom of God, we become lively stones fitly framed together with the other saints, and we become the habitation of God himself through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.

That is what we need. It is not enough to come to church. That is a good thing but it will never save you. It is not enough to be a member of a church. It is not enough to be justified. It is not enough to be sanctified. We must get glorified. We, every one of us, needs to come to the position where we receive the filling of the Holy Spirit. The only people who will be raptured off of the earth before the great tribulation where Peter tells us the very elements will melt with a fervent heat, are those who have received the glory of God, the glory of Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit of promise.

The justified are saved, for that is what salvation is. We are saved from sin. Justification through repentance and full emersion water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ grants us remission, or salvation, from sin. The Sanctified are saved, for we must become justified before we can become sanctified. But only the glorified are the Bride of Jesus Christ. Only the Glorified are stolen away in the twinkling of an eye. Only the Glorified dwell with Jesus one thousand years in the new Jerusalem. Only the Glorified sit with him in Judgment.

We are all on a journey. There are two paths, one is narrow and very few people will choose it. That is the path to eternal life in the Kingdom of God. It starts with accepting Jesus Christ as your saviour and getting justified. That path requires rejecting all, rejecting the world, rejecting religion, rejecting men’s ideas, rejecting unbiblical church dogmas, and following the Bible alone. The Bible must be our absolute or we are not on the narrow path. And if we leave that path, we must go back to where we left off and start over.

It is a lonely path. It is a rocky uphill constant battle. It is a call to arms, a call to war against spirits, and powers, and principalities and powers of the air. It requires the whole armour of God. But It is also the path to glory for it is a path of glory. God lights the way with the brilliance of His glory that he promised to fill you with. And he gave us a simple prescription for receiving it which we discussed earlier. It is the only way. There is a way which seems right unto man the end thereof is death. That way is the broad easy way.

It is a wide easygoing path. It is a path of popularity, a path of worldly opportunity, a path of luxury. It is the path that most “Christians” will take. Just look to Bible examples. How many did Noah have with him? Eight souls out of the billions that were alive on earth at the time. How many got raptured before the flood? Only one man, Enoch. How many of the Israelites believed Moses and actually entered the Promised Land? Only two out of two million; Joshua and Caleb. How big was Daniel’s church? He had three men Shadrah, Meshack and Abed-nego. How many followed Jesus? In the end there were only twelve and one of them was a devil.

They do not want the narrow way. They do not want to sacrifice. They do not want to be laughed at and called “holy rollers” or “Jesus Freaks” or any other of the countless names the devil will throw at you. They do not want to crucify the flesh daily. They are too proud to admit they are wrong. They cannot repent, just like Cain of old. They do not want to be put out of their churches for testifying that Jesus Christ is still the healer, or for speaking in tongues, or for simply believing every word that is written in the Bible. They want the path of ease. They want to be popular. They want to be respected and accepted by the world and by organizations of men. They want to be lifted up by men. They want the pleasures of the world but to be called holy. They have a form of godliness but deny the power thereof. They call themselves Christians, they go to church, they sing and worship and pray, but inside they are a gross darkness. Cain was the same way. The end of that path is death.

But I trust that is not so of any of you who are reading this or I don’t think you would have gotten anywhere near this far without tossing the paper in the fire. You are called to glory! You are called to be the Bride of Jesus Christ. You are called to be a fellow citizen in the Kingdom of God. You are called to be the habitation of God!

Come to God’s glory today. Do not wait for tomorrow for there may not be a tomorrow. My dear brother, my sister, I am pleading with you to listen to the Word of God. Jesus Christ is pleading with you to receive him. Do not believe me for I am a man such as yourself, but take every word I have written here for you by the inspiration of the Spirit of God, and take the Word of God and search it out and pray over it and see if it isn’t the absolute truth. Wait upon God for revelation. Do not go to another man, do not go to a pastor or priest, go to the high priest that can be touched by the feeling of our infirmities. Go to Jesus Christ and wait upon him to reveal to you the truth in his Word.

Follow ever after Jesus Christ. Believe and obey only the Word of God. The Bible is the word of God in print. Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and receive forgiveness of sins, sanctification from the filth of the flesh and of the world, and receive the glory of God from Jesus Christ through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. That is the new birth. Be born again of water and of blood and of spirit. And as Jesus said, except you be born again you shall never see the kingdom of God. Come and see the Kingdom of God with the fellowship of the saints. Come and walk on the streets of pure gold in the city where the Lamb is the light.

So let’s look back over the questions one last time so we get it right. I have not included every possible scripture here, but rather just enough to get the point across. There are many more. I strongly urge you to study what is here and compare it with your Bible and look for more scriptures on the topic.

I’m going to ask you for the answers now. You all know them, and I think many readers probably knew most if not all of them before today.

  1. What is Glory? Is it tangible or figurative?
  2. How did God give glory to Jesus?
  3. When was this glory given?
  4. How did He, in turn, give it to us?
  5. When did He give it to us?
  6. Who, exactly, does He give it to?
  7. How do we qualify to get it?
  8. How do we know we have it?
  9. Can we loose it once we have it?
  10. How does this glory make us one with each other?

The glory of God is for you.

Salvation is for you.

The indwelling of the Holy Spirit is for you.

Do not stop short but earnestly contend for the faith that was once delivered unto the Saints. Work out your salvation with fear and trembling. Seek, knock and ask for Jesus promised to give unto you the Spirit. I would like to finish with a brief excerpt from a book written by a precious brother who God anointed with his Holy Spirit to bring a message of salvation and hope to the Bride of Christ in these last days. His name was William Branham. I strongly recommend that you find a copy of the book (there are many, many available in print and online) and read the whole thing.

Thus the grain of wheat that became a plant for the harvest is the record of the church. And even as not all the wheat plant is wheat seed, and as not all the plant is used in the harvest, so with the church:–all the church is not the bride, and neither is it all given eternal life, but a PART of it is gathered into the garner, and a PART of it is kept that it might enter into eternal life in the second resurrection, and PART of it which is accounted chaff is burned in the lake of fire.

Be that part that is gathered into the garner. Get your oil, get your promised glory today!
