God’s Manifested Attributes

Ministered by Brother Paul Brake at the Restored Word Fellowship in Edmonton on 15-Nov-2017

Colossians 2:  For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

In whom? In the Lord Jesus Christ. He contained the fulness of God, not just a part, a portion, an image, but the complete fullness of everything that is God. Everything that the Father is, the Son is. Jesus Christ walked the earth an in him was every characteristic, every trait, every facet, every attribute of God the Father. When you see me, Jesus said, you see the Father.

He was the healer. He was the saviour. He was the deliverer. He was the prophet. He was the priest. He was the councillor, prince of peace, lily of the valley, bright morning star, the King of kings and Lord of lords.

Every where that Jesus went, he manifested all those attributes!

When he met a sick person, he manifested Jehovah Rapha. When he met a lost soul, he manifested Jehovah Jireh. When he met the hungry he manifested being the provider. When there wasn’t enough food to feed them with, he manifested being the Creator. When he met the dead, he manifested Resurrection! Every where that the Lord Jesus went he manifested the Attributes of God.

In him was the fullness of God and the fullness of God’s Attributes.

John 1: 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Jesus Christ is the Word of God, Logos, made flesh; he is the Whole Word. Everywhere that Word went, he manifested the attributes of God. The Word is God! The Word therefore has the exact same attributes as the Lord God. Anything that God is, so is his Word, for God and the Word are ONE.

We cannot separate God and his Word. They are ONE.

We cannot separate the Word of God from the Attributes of God.

Isaiah 55: For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. 10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: 11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

The Word of God will accomplish the perfect will of God. It will manifest his attributes. The Word of God MUST manifest the attributes of God, for the Word of God is the complete expression of God. In manifest the Lord God, the Word does so by manifesting God’s attributes.

We know some attributes, but there are many. The fruit of the spirit, peace, joy, longsuffering, patients etc are attributes of God. The gifts, tongues, prophecy etc are also attributes of God, and thus of his Word. Jesus prophesied. Jesus spoke in tongues. Jesus saw visions. The fivefold ministry are also Godly attributes. Throughout his ministry, the Lord Jesus manifested all five ministries.

Now what about us?

Acts 2: 1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Each of us at the new birth receive a piece of God. In Jesus dwelt the fulness of the godhead bodily, but in each of us dwells a part, a portion. We are each individual members of the Body of Christ. We each have an individual part to play.

When the 120 in the upper room received the Holy Spirit, they “immediately” began to manifest the attributes of Christ. It wasn’t a week later, next year, tomorrow, it happened immediately.

So does one brother get salvation, and another get healing? No. Here is a mystery for us.

It goes back to the seed.

When a woman has a baby, does she give birth to the left arm one year, then the right leg the next, then the nose, then an ear? No. The whole baby is born at once. There has only been one seed planted out of hundreds of millions available, but in that one seed rests every attribute of the person. The one seed, the one cell contains the DNA that controls every single attribute of the person being born. It is only one seed, but it will tell the hair what colour to be, the eyes how well to see, the body how tall to grow.

If I were to go to Brother Ed’s house, I picked him cause he is strong enough to do it, and he were to welcome me into his house. And he were to say “I love you brother you are welcome here”, I would be in his house. But what if he were to look me up and down and say, “but I just can’t take that left knee of yours”, and he reached down and grabbed my knee, picked it up and tossed my knee out the door into the street. My knee would be out in the street. Where would the rest of me be? In the street!

When we reject one Word from the Bible we are rejecting the whole Bible no matter how much we think we like the rest of it. We might love the virgin birth, but not so much the godhead. Poof. We have kicked the whole word out. That is why in the Laodicea Church Age we find Jesus outside. They didn’t intentionally kick him out. In fact they think he is still inside. But when they rejected one word, they rejected the whole word.

That is why they will miss the Rapture. Christ is not with them. They already kicked him out long ago and replaced him with dogmas, creeds and traditions. The won’t notice him missing at the Rapture because they don’t notice him missing today.

James 2: 10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. 11 For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.

The Word of God is not divisible. There is no trinity. As each seed carries all the characteristics for the plant, animal, man it produces, so too does each Word of God carry all the attributes of the Lord God. When that seed comes forth, it manifests those attributes, not just some, but all.

We just need to receive one Word completely into our hearts, and apply it to be born again. Else we have to study and work to know and understand the Whole Bible it detail. But in One Word is that seed of Life that saves us.

Look at the Eunuch in the desert, Philip only preached the one Word to him, and that was enough. That one word that Philip preached to him that afternoon carried the attributes of healing, deliverance and salvation. At Pentecost, Peter only preached that one Word from Joel and 3000 were saved.

We each receive a portion of the Holy Spirit, but that portion contains ALL the Attributes of God the Father. It is a creator. He it a healer. It is a deliverer. It is a prophet. It is a life giver. It is resurrection. It is rapture!

Mark 16: 15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. 17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. 19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. 20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.

He did not say go and build schools and hospitals. He did not say go and lecture on doctrine. He did not say go and teach wisdom, or philosophy, or psychology, or ethics or morality. He said “preach the gospel”. And when they preached the gospel, signs followed. Why?

1 Corinthians 2: And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

When the gospel is preached, it is preached with power and demonstration in the Holy Spirit. Without the Holy Spirit, we are not preaching the Word, we are lecturing a letter. The letter killeth but the Spirit gives life.

The Word of God is a seed of God. That seed carries every aspect and attribute of the Lord God. Each individual Word carries All of it! The Word has those attributes. If we preach on salvation, that word of salvation will bring healing! It has too. That is its natural attribute. A sheep cannot help but to bear wool. The Word cannot help but to heal, save, deliver.

Where the Word is Preached by the Spirit of God, the Attributes of God WILL be manifested!

There is no way around it. It will happen. It would be quite easy here to blame the preachers. Nothing is happening because the Preachers are not properly yielded. The Preachers and not in the Spirit. Etc. The preachers can make a difference indeed, but having seen a few dozen assemblies I can testify that our Pastor is doing just fine. You got a problem with him or his ministry, the problem is yours, not his.

But here is the kicker, the “rub” as Mr. Shakespeare would say. If we lay a seed on the table, it will sit there forever. It will carry the life, but never manifest it. Seeds found in the Pyramids, that had lain there since before the flood, still carried life. They were planted and they grew. Yet for thousands of years they laid there, dormant.

In order for the seed to manifest the attributes it carries, it must first be planted!

And for it to be planted, the soil must first be prepared.

Luke 8: A sower went out to sow his seed: and as he sowed, some fell by the way side; and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it. And some fell upon a rock; and as soon as it was sprung up, it withered away, because it lacked moisture. And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprang up with it, and choked it. And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit an hundredfold. And when he had said these things, he cried, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

The soil must be prepared! If we do not prepare the soil, that seed will never bear fruit. And notice how the Lord speaks. It is not just being “prayed up”. Each of these soil types is created by the life the person lives.

One lives a life of unbelief. They are on the wayside. Their hearts are stony, hard as granite. The word is gone from them even before they hear it. Ask them at the end of service what the topic was and you get a blank stare.

Then we have the stony ground. There is no place to take root. There is no moisture, no Holy Spirit. They are not born again. For a while they will come, and hear, but the first time they are called out, they leave. They will not sacrifice for the Word, will not pay the personal payment. They are ashamed of Jesus Christ. This type will never bow their head at work and ask the Lord’s blessing on food; thy are too afraid of the response. They will come to church on Sunday, and the first dirty joke at work on Monday, they are laughing it up, afraid to rebuke it. They live in fear!

Do your friends know about the Word of God, about the message of the hour? Have you testified to them of Jesus Christ? No? Why not? You are AFRAID to tell them. Your heart is stony ground.

The next lives a life of the flesh. Yes, they sit hear and praise God and rejoice and say a big “amen”, but their lives are so full of the world they don’t have time to live the Word. They are not born again. They only have an inner court experience. They have a spirit, but that spirit is the spirit of the world.  They are dry and their lives are so filled with the world and the temptations that the Word of God cannot flourish. Video games, movies, friends, the mall, facebook, Instagram, parties, hockey games. They hear the word but have nothing to water it with. They choke out the Word of God with the things of the world. If we love the world or the things of the world, the love of God is not in us. Shallow, superficial, fakes. Make believers!

If we sit in a church on Sunday and spend the other six days planting the seed of the world in our hearts, which one do you think will prosper. Go out all day every day all week long planting dandelion and crab grass in your front yard then try and tell someone how great your lawn is. Hypocrite!

Mark 6: And when the sabbath day was come, he began to teach in the synagogue: and many hearing him were astonished, saying, From whence hath this man these things? and what wisdom is this which is given unto him, that even such mighty works are wrought by his hands? Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended at him. But Jesus, said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house. And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them. And he marvelled because of their unbelief. And he went round about the villages, teaching.

The Word of God was there in fullness. Every attribute of God stood before them manifested in Flesh. They could not believe. Their hearts were not prepared for the seed. Jesus Christ himself could not manifest the attributes of the Word to them because there was no ground to plant that seed in.

“They were offended at him”. They were offended by Jesus, by the very Word. They blamed the ministry, the preacher, who just happened to be the Lord Jesus Christ. The people blamed the ministry for the lack of manifestation of the Attributes of God. Jesus wasn’t holy enough, wasn’t prestigious enough, didn’t have a big enough name in the message.

Don’t blame the ministry for the lack of God in YOUR life. We shall see a perfect example of why in a minute.

Check your garden! Check your soil! Check your life!

Hebrews 4: 1 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.

The Word is Preached, not lectured, preached with power and demonstration in the spirit. The attributes were going forth with the Word. But the people had no faith, no revelation, and the word fell dead. It was never planted in their hearts.

Without revelation we will never understand a single word in the Bible, we will never plant it in our hearts, we will never manifest its attributes. Ever. The denominations are not just off a little here and a little there. They are so completely off from the true word you wonder if they are even reading out of the same book.

“Churches” celebrate Halloween today!

No Faith. No Revelation. No LIFE! They are in complete and utter darkness. Dead men walking. A seed will not germinate without light. It takes good ground, water and light.

If the Word of God is not received, the attributes of the Word will not be received and then simply cannot manifest in our lives. And it doesn’t matter at that point who the preacher is.

Again, if we want to blame the preacher, remember Judas was one of the Seventy. There is your example. Judas was the son of perdition. Judas had a ministry as a preacher. Judas had signs following! He rejoiced that the devils were subject unto him. The people had their hearts prepared and watered the seed and let the light of revelation shine to their hearts and the seed word manifested the Divine Attributes of God.

With a perfect preacher, the Lord Jesus Christ, there was no manifestation because of the hearts of the people. With a reprobate scoundrel of a preacher, Judas, the Attributes of God were manifested in the lives of the people through the Word of God in their hearts. In each case, it was the hearts of the people that decided. It is the same today!

And we have those men today!

I don’t want to call them by name publicly, but you know who they are. A man who called William Branham “demon possessed” has a worldwide ministry of healing. It ain’t him doing it, it is the faith of the people in the Word of God that is doing it. He will come at the judgement and say “I did all these works in your name”, and hear in return “I never knew you”.

51-0503 – As I Was With Moses, William Branham

Now, in His first battle with Satan, He officially… Listen close now. He officially overcome Satan and all of his powers by the Word of God, the written Word of God. Now, these, our brethren, who’s out on the fields tonight a praying for the sick; that’s what they’re doing. They’re ministers.

Every minister in here, any minister that believes in the Word of God could start a healing campaign, and has a right to. That’s exactly right. If you feel led to do that, go do it. For it’s this a way, friends. You say, “Am I sure that I can be right, Brother Branham?”

Don’t go because I told you, but I’ll give you general orders. Jesus, His last orders—and that’s general orders from the headquarters, “Go ye into all the world, preach the Gospel to every creature.” Is that right? “He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved, and he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; they’ll lay their hands on the sick and they shall recover.”

Every called child of God, every minister that’s ordained of God has a right for a healing campaign if he wants it. Go on, brother. I don’t blame you.
There will no doubt be a few surprised by that. Some will say that was only for the prophet, but they would be disagreeing with the prophet. When we preach the Word of God, we are preaching all the attributes of God. It is not me that does the healing, it is Jesus Christ, through YOUR faith. When you receive the Word of God, you receive the attribute of God including the Attribute of healing in that Word. Your healing is in the Word, now it is up to you to manifest that Attribute through Your Faith.

I could call a healing line right now, and it would be just as effective as if it were the Prophet up here doing it. Sound crazy? The effectiveness of the prayer over your sickness will depend solely on your faith and how you receive it. Judas had more manifestations, more healing, more miracles than Jesus, all because of the hearts of the people.

Jesus Christ could be standing here with Moses, Elijah and Gabreil, and if we don’t believe we would walk up sick, and walk away sick.

54-0719E – God Providing Healing For This Generation, William Branham

While you’re setting there, many of you in the building tonight, realize and understand that these few people that’s being lined up here, are just a portion of the people that will be healed tonight. There’s many more healed out in the audience than there is on the platform. How many’s been in my future—my meeting before, and knows that to be the truth? There’s ten healed to one here. The only thing you have to do is to have faith and believe. Now, if you can believe, God will heal you.

It is entirely up to you!

Period! The condition of your heart, your attitude towards the Word of God will directly determine how the Attributes of the Word manifest in your life. My attitude will determine the same for me.

Jesus did his part! Now we must accept it through faith.

We say we are expecting. Are you expecting the Lord Jesus Christ to come on the scene today and confirm His Word in Supernatural Signs, Wonders and Miracles? Are we expecting the Lord to Manifest the Attributes of His Word among us?

If I bring the same Word as the Prophet did, the same signs and wonders must be here to vindicate that Word in the exact same way, because it was not the Prophet that did it, it was the Word of God that did it. The miracles in the Prophet’s ministry were not the attributes of William Branham, they were the Attributes of the Word of God that he preached being Manifested.

Our actions will prove what we are expecting.

Our actions will prove it!

Are you receiving the Word, His Word? Is your heart prepared? Does your current life prepare your heart for planting? Your actions and thoughts over the last week prove what you are. By their fruits you will know them.

Your actions, thoughts and attitudes over the last week prove what you are expecting to happen here tonight.

Did the life that you lived this past week prepare your heart to receive the Holy Spirit, the living Revealed Word of God tonight?

Did the life that you lived this past week prepare your heart to receive the Manifested Attributes of the living Revealed Word of God tonight?

Are you choking out the Word with the world? Are you governed by fear? Do you pay attention or is your mind someplace else?

Or do we receive the Word? And the Spirit. And the Power.

Without the Spirit, without the Power we merely have a “form of godliness”.

Do you want to know for sure?

Check your life for the Supernatural Manifestation of the Divine Attributes of the Revealed Word of God for the Hour.

If we are receiving the Word of God, we are also receiving, and manifesting, the attributes of the Word. There is no other way. The attributes will manifest where the Word goes forth and is received. These signs SHALL follow them that believe!

Where are the manifested attributes of the Word of God in your life? Are they there? Are we receiving the Word in Power, or the letter in doctrine? Are we serving a supernatural God, or a natural god? Are we the Manifested Sons and Daughters of God, or the manifested sons and daughters of men?

The Attributes of God, ALL the Attributes of God must, and absolutely will, be manifest when the Word of God goes out and is received. There is no other choice. It is a direct cause and effect. If the attributes are not manifested, then the Word is either not going out, or not being received.

  • When we receive the Word of God we receive the Attribute of Healing.
  • When we receive the Word of God we receive the Attribute of Salvation.
  • When we receive the Word of God we receive the Attribute of Deliverance.

Every Attribute of the Lord God will be manifested in the receiving of the Word of God, and ONLY through receiving the Word of God!

We will never receive any Manifestation of any Attribute of God without FIRST receiving the Revealed Word of God for the Hour!

Through receiving the Word of God, we shall receive the full manifestation of the Attributes of God. They are in the Word!

By rejecting the Revealed Word of God, even one single word from it, we cut ourselves off from receiving the Manifestation of the Attributes of the Word of God. Remember James says to reject one word is to be guilty of all.

You wonder why you are not healed? You believe in healing 100%, yet you are still sick. Maybe you believe in healing, yet refuse to obey James 5:14-16 about healing. You do not doubt one bit that by his stripes you are healed, yet you remain sick.

Maybe you believe in healing, but don’t believe that you should not cut your hair. Maybe you “do not see anything wrong” with a bit of make-up for blemishes, or nail hardener. Maybe you believe in deliverance, but reject what the Word has to say about horoscopes, and now are in bondage to something that you know is completely wrong.

Maybe we are so indulged in the world that the Word has no place in us? Maybe our heads, and hearts, are so filled with Hockey, or a TV show, or some drama at school, music, novels, that we have no place left for the Word. Maybe you cannot receive one thing, because you refuse to receive another thing. They are all connected!

Eve did not reject every Word of God, she merely rejected ONE Word of God. With that one missed Word came every sin, sickness, pain and death the world has seen. She did not deny healing. She did not deny the Deity of God. She did not deny murder, theft, extortion, drug addiction and rape.

But with Eve denying that one Word, all these other things came in.

Sin has its attributes too!

Your problem might not be in your belief of the scripture that pertains directly to your issue, it might be that you have rejected a completely different Scripture. Remember every seed carries the complete attribute of the whole. To reject one is to reject all.

Soul searching time. Ask yourself:

  • Are the Attributes of the Word of God being manifested supernaturally in my life?
  • Is there anything that I am not accepting from the Word of God, anywhere about anything, that could be standing in the way?
  • Has there been a Word preached, or one I have read, or heard on a message, or testified to by a brother or sister, that I could not fully receive?
  • Is my heart being prepared by my life to receive the Seed of the Word.
  • Did my life this week prepare my heart to receive the Word I heard tonight?
  • Am I watering the seed with the Holy Spirit, or quenching the Spirt?
  • Am I letting the light of the Revelation of the Holy Spirit shine into my heart?
  • Am I blaming the ministry, as the people of Nazareth did?
  • Do I have some unconfessed sin?
  • Am I holding a grudge against somebody? Have I failed to forgive?

Are you expecting the Lord to Vindicate His Word? Are you expecting the Attributes of God to be Manifested, here, now?

Has His Word Gone Forth Tonight?

Have YOU received it?

Then let the Attributes Manifest! It is up to you!

Allow the Attributes of the Word of God to Manifest in YOU!

Be Healed!

Be Delivered!

Be Saved!

Today! THIS VERY MOMENT!

Let the Attributes of God Manifest in You Right Here, Right Now!

In Jesus name you are HEALED!

In Jesus name you are SAVED!

In Jesus name you are DELIVERED!

In Jesus name you are FILLED!

Believe the Word that its Attributes can Manifest in you!

Recognizing the Voice behind the Voice

[Notes from the Sermon “Recognizing the Voice” preached by Brother Paul Brake on Wednesday June 28th at Restored Word Fellowship in Edmonton.]

Revelation 10: 7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

Notice that it does not say the day of the prophet. It does not say the day of the ministry. It does not say the day of the man. It says specifically the “days of the VOICE”.

Why a Voice? What is the significance of the Voice? Which Voice?

Remember a word is a thought express. So the root of every word is a thought. Thoughts do not come from the mind, they have a root in your heart.

Psalm 33: 11 The counsel of the Lord standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.

Even God’s Word originates in God’s heart. The voice you hear with your ear from the speaker in the room is a manifestation of the Voice Spoken. You do not hear my voice right now, you hear the Voice of the speakers. They are a dumb box, lifeless, with no will of their own. The only voice they can muster is squealing, feedback and static. It is all mindless noise. They have another voice, but that is not their own voice. It is the manifestation of My Voice.

So too, when you hear my voice from my mouth, you are hearing a manifestation of the voice spoken first in my heart. Then in my mind. Finally, in my mouth. But where did the voice in my heart come from? It came from the Spirit that is within me. If I am filled with the Holy Spirit, then it came from him. If I am possessed of a devil, then it came from him. We are all possessed, by the Spirit of God, or the spirit of the world, satan.

There is a Voice within the Voice, within every Voice.

Matthew 4: Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

I want you to notice something here. There are two distinct voices, the voice of Satan, and the Voice of Jesus. Notice too that they are both speaking the Word of God. Satan was quoting Psalm 91 perfectly.

Psalm 91: 12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

What a strange thing. Here the devil himself is quoting the Prophet, speaking the Revealed Word of God for the hour. He is quoting exactly as it was written. Here there is an audible voice, and that voice is speaking the Word of God, yet that voice is the devil, and had Jesus listened to it, he would have been finished.

Do you see it? There is a preacher, quoting the Word of God, and to listen to that preacher preach the Word of God would bring DEATH, a death so terrible it would have killed every human being.

We need to go deeper to understand how the Word of God, the Word of life, can kill. It can’t really, it is life. It all depends on the Voice!

1 Chronicles 13: And they carried the ark of God in a new cart out of the house of Abinadab: and Uzza and Ahio drave the cart. And David and all Israel played before God with all their might, and with singing, and with harps, and with psalteries, and with timbrels, and with cymbals, and with trumpets. And when they came unto the threshingfloor of Chidon, Uzza put forth his hand to hold the ark; for the oxen stumbled. 10 And the anger of the Lord was kindled against Uzza, and he smote him, because he put his hand to the ark: and there he died before God.

Uzza was a righteous man. He was an Israelite. He was circumcised. But he was not called to handle the Word of God. The Ark was to be carried by the Levites. Uzza, a righteous man, was not qualified and even thought he was handling the pure Word of God, doing so brought death.

Now what can we say of the denominations of our day? The modern Ox Carts. The Modern Uzzas. The pulpits are full of Uzzas today. The Message Pulpits! Uzza was an Israelite, a Christian. He was Righteous, Justified. He was circumcised, Sanctified. To the people of Israel he was qualified, the most qualified or they would never have chosen him.

We have that today. We have men, just men, baptized in full immersion in water in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, sanctified, living consecrated lives for Christ, but not called to the pulpit. The Five Fold Ministry is a calling. And these men, eloquent speakers, humble brothers, knowledgeable in doctrine, loved of all, get voted into the pulpits. They preach because they are good speakers. But God did not call them to it. They are outside of his Perfect Will, swimming in the pools of his permissive will. They have the wrong voice.

But not to the Lord God! He was rejected! He was not called for it. He was disqualified by his birth. Had the Lord intended for him to handle the Word, he would have been born a Levite. That is predestination at its finest. The pulpits today are full of Uzzas, men chosen by men, righteous men, good men, but not chosen by God. They have the wrong Voice!

How many women preachers are today in the denominations? Smart women, highly educated. Bible schools, Theology Seminary training, PhD in theology etc. Yet they are not the Voice chosen by God. Had the Lord God intended for them to handle the Word of God, by predestination, they would have been born men. God cannot fail. Those women are not fulfilling all righteousness. The Word of God strictly forbids them, yet there they are anyway, standing in the Pulpit preaching. They can preach the word perfectly as Satan did, and their Voice will bring DEATH!

DEATH! Preaching the Word of God and preaching DEATH to the people, and they don’t even know it. That is the picture of today.

And why did they carry the Ark that way in the first place?

1 Chronicles 13: 1 And David consulted with the captains of thousands and hundreds, and with every leader. And David said unto all the congregation of Israel, If it seem good unto you, and that it be of the Lord our God, let us send abroad unto our brethren every where, that are left in all the land of Israel, and with them also to the priests and Levites which are in their cities and suburbs, that they may gather themselves unto us: And let us bring again the ark of our God to us: for we enquired not at it in the days of Saul. And all the congregation said that they would do so: for the thing was right in the eyes of all the people.

David listened to every voice in the country except the Voice that the Lord God had chosen, the Voice of the Prophet. Do we listen to the Voice of the Prophet today? Do we listen to the Voice behind the Voice of the Prophet today? That, as mister Shakespeare so eloquently phrased it, is the rub.

How can a Voice matter? Two Voices can speak the very same words, one brings life, the other brings death. Jesus and Satan both quoting the Word; to listen to Jesus was life, to Satan was death. Same thing today!

Here is another example.

Genesis 3: 1 Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

Notice here that he came quoting the Word. He was not denying the Word. He was not dismissing the Word. He was preaching it! He was preaching the Word of God to Eve just as Adam preached it. But it was death!

When Adam brought that Word to Eve, it brought life. Now here is another voice preaching the self same Word, quoting the prophet Adam, and it was death. The Voice behind the voice was different.

Acts 19: 13 Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth. 14 And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so. 15 And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? 16 And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.

This is my general criticism of Quote Preachers. Nothing wrong with a quote. The problem arises when we don’t get the revelation and simply hide behind a quote and a fake Kentucky accent. The Vagabonds preached Jesus whom Paul Preaches. How many today are preaching Jesus whom Branham preached in the exact same way?

Quoting the Scriptures as Satan did. Quoting the Prophet as the Vagabonds did. But the Wrong VOICE! And it brings death. Yet when Aquila and Priscilla quoted Paul, it brought life to Apollos.

We have men in the pulpits today reading from the Bible, quoting from the Prophet, and bringing death because they are speaking with the wrong Voice!

It is not the physical Voice you hear that is so important. If it was then God would only choose great orators to be preachers. It is the Voice behind the Voice! The words we hear, the voice of the man is the manifestation of the Voice of the Spirit IN the Man.

The physical words you hear are no different than physical words you read. That is why the Bible says the letter killeth but the Spirit brings life. Except that Holy Spirit of God quickens the Word to your heart, it will only condemn you.

If we don’t have the right inner Voice, then our outer Voice will simply be speaking the letter; the letter of the Word of God, the letter of the Message of the Hour, and the letter killeth. It kills because the Voice is wrong!

The physical voice we hear is an Outer Court Experience. Satan moves around freely in the Outer Court. And when it causes our emotions to stir, as you see among the Evangelicals and Pentecostals, and now in the Message, it is simply an Inner Court Experience. God is NOT in them.

God is in his Holy Temple. He is not in the letter, God is in his Word, Logos!

And then when we stand at the judgment seat of Christ, we will say we did this and that in your name. He will say I never knew you, and I don’t know you now. Get away from me you workers of iniquity. You stood there and quoted from my word to someone, then turned around and lived the opposite. You demanded that another follow me and refused to follow yourself. I never knew you. I was never in you. You never came through the outer court, through the inner court, to meet Me in the Holiest of Holies.

WE NEVER MET!

I do not know you!

May the Lord God in Heaven have mercy and grace upon us tonight that it would never be mentioned once among us. Let us follow the Lord and his prescription for Receiving his Holy Spirit.

A woman preacher, for example, can stand at the pulpit, orate a beautiful, intelligent, logical lecture from the letter, that will make you cry, shout, sing, jump up and down, run around. It will make perfect sense to the carnal mind. She can be 100% accurate in every word she speaks, but still be the wrong Voice and bring death to the listener. She can give you a great outer court experience that will lead to a great inner court experience. To the carnal man, they will think they had an experience with God. They got sensations! They got emotions! But they received death!

God cannot be in that, and he is not. For the Lord to bless it he would become a liar and a hypocrite because he clearly stated in his word. If the woman was filled with the Holy Spirit, then that Holy Spirit inside her would never allow her to act totally contrary to the Revealed Word of God for the hour.

1 Timothy 2: 12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.

He said NO. Period. End of Story. Full stop. Yet they do it. Having a form of godliness and denying the very power thereof. See, she could quote the letter of the Bible perfectly. She could even quote from a message book perfectly, getting all the “ums” and “ahs” in the right place, getting the Kentucky accent perfect. But in the end, it is the wrong Voice. It is a Voice of Death and to listen to it is DEATH!

We have had “message preachers”, who have sat in the pulpits for years, preaching to the people, only to turn and call the Prophet a devil and say the message that the Lord God vindicated is a lie. Did they bring life to anyone in their preaching? What experience do those people have? Think about it. Those people thought they were being saved. They thought that a godly, Holy Ghost filled man, called of God, was speaking to them. They did not have the discernment to know better. They could not discern the inner voice.

Some of these guys preached for decades without being noticed. They didn’t turn bad, they were always bad. They were wolves in sheep clothing making merchandise of you the whole time, fleecing the people and feeding on them. And the people did not know. What experience do those people have? Where do they stand? How and why did they miss it?

How did these guys hide for so long? Did you ever wonder that? They hid behind quotes. They quoted so perfectly that people only listened to the voice that was speaking, not to the voice behind the voice. They did not realize that the human voice was empty and devoid of holiness.

Uzza was a righteous man, but when he tried to handle the Word of God, being the wrong voice for the day, it brought DEATH. Today it will bring Spiritual Death. Your heart won’t stop beating, it will just get closed off so that the Word of God, the Spirit of God, Logos, will not be able to enter it. It will defile your Temple. All who defile the Temple of God, the Lord God will destroy.

Hebrews 3: Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice, Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

Today if you will hear His Voice. As the Holy Ghost saith. Not as a man says, but as the Holy Ghost says. The Holy Spirit has to be the Voice behind the Voice. We don’t hear the Voice of a man, we must hear the Voice behind the Voice. When the Holy Spirit moves a man to speak, it is not his voice speaking. Just as the speaker is only an audible manifestation of my voice, so too is the man sent by God only an audible manifestation of the Voice of God speaking inside of him.

That is why it is not heresy for them to use the name Voice of God recordings. It is not the Voice of the Prophet that the Bride hears, it is the Voice of God IN the prophet! That is why the people are so confused, why the world cannot understand it. They are just listening to the man, and missing the VOICE behind the voice.

Do you hear HIS VOICE tonight?

Or are you just hearing mine?

John 10: 27 My sheep hear MY VOICE, and I know them, and they follow me: 28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

You are not my sheep, you are not Brother Branham’s sheep, you are not Peter’s sheep or Paul’s sheep, or Luther’s sheep. You are HIS SHEEP. You are the sheep of the Great Shepherd, the Lord Jesus Christ. That is why the Bride hears HIS VOICE. The Bride are the only ones who can hear the Voice behind the Voice!

Let me say that again so it is perfectly clear.

The Bride are the only ones who can hear the Voice behind the Voice!

Mark 4: 11 And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables: 12 That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.

Unto you it is given to hear the Voice behind the Voice. If you name was written in the Lamb’s Book of Life before the foundation of the world then you are called to hear His Voice, and you will hear it. To the rest of the world, it is a riddle. The Bride does not hear the speaker tonight. The Bride does not hear me tonight.

THE BRIDE HEARS ONLY HIM!

The world hears only me.

The Bride hears Jesus Christ speak through every word that comes out of my mouth, by REVELATION. The world only hears the inane ramblings of an old Newfie.

The Bride of the Lord Jesus Christ, by revelation, hears the voice of Holy Spirit speaking through the Revealed Word of God. The world hears an uneducated, stammering, Kentucky hillbilly. That is why they can’t receive the message, why they could not receive Jesus Christ. That is why they can never receive the truth, the Voice of the truth is always hidden behind the voice of an ordinary man.

The Lord hid his Voice in the stammering, stuttering voice of Moses. The Lord God hid his Voice in the voice of a homeless, penniless, uneducated bum named John the Baptist. The Lord God hid his Voice in a farmer name Amos. The Lord hid his Voice in an ignorant and unlearned fisherman name Peter. The list goes on but does not change in nature.

1 Corinthians 1: 21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

And without revelation we will never discern the difference.

Luke 10: 22 All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him.

We cannot even know who the Lord God is without revelation. How can we say we worship the Lord God if we don’t even know who and what he is? How can we listen to His Voice, if we cannot recognize His Voice? We will be fooled! We will hear a good lecture, a logical argument, earthly wisdom brought with eloquence of speech, and be fooled. We will hear the voice of a man, but completely miss the Voice of God.

John 8: 43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.

And we have pulpits today full of them. The cannot hear the Voice, yet invade the pulpits all over the world with their own voice.

Romans 16: 17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them 18 For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.

Good words and fair speeches from the wrong voice will lead us straight to hell. They don’t serve the Lord. They cannot. They don’t even know who he is. They have no relationship with him. He is not their Lord.

How can we worship God if we don’t even know who and what he is, if we do not understand and have the revelation of the Godhead?

John 5: 43 I am come in my Father’s name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.

The Prophet came in the name of the Lord giving all glory and honour to him, and the people rejected both him and his message. Yet those that come in their own names, in blasphemous names, they are celebrated. They get Maga-Churches.

But they don’t realize, those mega-churches and the denominations and the World Council of Churches are binding the tares for the fires of hell. But the Lord is collecting his wheat into the garner.

It’s Harvest Time!

1 Corinthians 12: Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.

The term “Lord” implies relationship. A Lord is a ruler. If you have a Lord, then you are the servant of that Lord. This scripture means more than what is on the surface. There is a Voice behind the Voice. To see it we have to go back to Genesis.

Genesis 1: 1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

This goes on for some time. And God said, and God said. But then we see something interesting happen.

Genesis 2: These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens, And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the Lord God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground. But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground. And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.

The whole of creation has him being referred to simply as God. But once the Bible starts speaking of man in the garden, in the flesh, he suddenly is called the LORD God. A relationship has been established.

Now watch! First time I was shown this I just about jumped out of my skin.

Genesis 3: 1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

The serpent had NO relationship. To him Elohim was not LORD, he was simply God. “God said”. But watch. Eve also refered to him simply as “God”. In the 3 verse, quoting the Prophet, she stepped out of fellowship and called him simply “God”, not the “Lord God”. At that point the serpent had her and she fell.

Romans 8: But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

NONE OF HIS! No relationship! Without the filling of the Holy Spirit, we simply cannot call him our Lord without his Holy Spirit. We can say he is God, but NOT the LORD GOD! We can say “Lord, Lord” but he will say “I never knew you”. Without the New Birth in its fulness, we cannot call Jesus Christ Lord, because he is NOT our Lord. And if he is not our Lord, we will not hear his Voice.

We might hear the voice of the preacher, the voice of the prophet, but not the Voice of the Spirit. It could lead us to Christ, but it won’t be Christ until we receive the Spirit of Christ. The preacher can lead you into the outer court, and into the inner court, but the Holiest of Holies is a place that you must enter alone. Straight is the gate, and narrow is the way that leads to life and few there be that find it. It is so narrow only one can enter at a time. Then when we hear the voice of the preacher, the voice of the prophet, the Voice of the Holy Spirit inside us will quicken that word which we hear in our ears.

I want an old fashioned prayer meeting. What was that like you ask?

Acts 4: 24 And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is: 25 Who by the mouth of thy servant David hast said, Why did the heathen rage, and the people imagine vain things? 26 The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord, and against his Christ. 27 For of a truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together, 28 For to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined before to be done. 29 And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word, 30 By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus. 31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.

When they prayed the whole earth shook! That ain’t going to happen from mumbling. That won’t come with whispering. That will never happen if we quench the Spirit. We have to be free.

They Lifted Up Their Voice Towards God! It was ONE VOICE! They all prayed. They all shouted. They all cried out at the top of their lungs. But it was ONE VOICE that got lifted up to the Lord God.

It was the VOICE WITHIN THE VOICE!

Romans 8: 26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

When we lift our Voices towards Heaven, the Holy Spirit in us will Lift HIS VOICE! The Voice in the Voice will pray for us. The Voice in the Voice that searches our hearts and knows the mind of the Spirit, for the Voice is of the Spirit! If we are not filled with the Holy Spirit, then that VOICE cannot be lifted up to Heaven. All we have is our own Voice, and the Bible says, All Men are Liars. Without the Holy Spirit, our prayers are lying to God.

Let us lift our VOICE to him! Cry out to him! Receive of Him!

Let his VOICE cry out in you!

Then the pillars of the building will shake.

The Pillar of Fire will be there.

The rushing mighty wind will blow through.

EVERY HEART WILL BE FILLED!

The Lord Jesus Christ will be glorified!

Cry out! Surrender to HIM.

LIFT YOUR VOICE!

Infection Healed

The Lord Jesus Christ never fails. His word is eternal. He is the same divine healer today that he was yesterday.

The Inception of the Infection

I don’t know how it happened. It started as a sore spot. It felt like a mild burn. I first thought that maybe I had scalded it when I was getting the bath ready for the kids. But it wasn’t a burn, it was an infection along the nail bed of my left ring finger.

Original Infection
Original Infection on Side of Finger

At first the infection seemed mild; a small blister. There was slight discomfort but it did not look like a problem. I figured it would go away after a day or two. I had to go out of town for a trade show. At the show I banged the finger a few times while setting up and taking down the equipment. The infection was bruised and grew worse.

Infection on Nailbed
Infection on Nail Bed Exploded

After a few days it encompassed half of the top of the finger and had worked its way into the nail bed. I soaked it as you would think to and applied a bread poultice. The infection exploded out the side.

Then it got worse again so I applied another poultice. And again the infection expoded.

All the while people kept preaching fear to me. They were telling me that I was going to lose my finger. They said I would get blood poison and die. Someone even went so far as to offer me their prescription of antibiotics that a doctor had given them earlier for something else. Instead of listening to the council of man, I took the council of God. I knew that the moment I visited a doctor, that I took the first pill, any healing would automatically be attributed to that and the Lord would be ignored.

The Cure: Divine Healing from Jesus Christ

I turned it over to the Lord. The infection went away. The old dead skin sloughed off and fresh new pink skin was left in place.

Jesus told us that healing is the bread of the children of God. We are the Bride of Christ if we have the Holy Spirit. If you don’t have the Holy Spirit, if you are not born again, if the Lord Jesus is not manifesting his holy word in your life in supernatural signs, wonders and miracles, then simply follow the prescription in the Bible in Acts 2:38-39 and you will receive the Holy Spirit and scriptures like James 5: 14-16 will be manifest in your life, as it was in mine.

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday today and forever. His word cannot fail. Just trust in him no matter what the world tells you. Ignore anything contrary to the Word of God. If you trust in him with all your heart, all your mind, all your soul, you shall experience the resurrection power of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Knowledge

Knowledge

Isaiah 5: 11 Woe unto them that rise up early in the morning, that they may follow strong drink: that continue until night, till wine inflame them! 12 And the harp, and the viol, the babret, and pipe, and wine, are in their feasts: but they regard not the work of the lord, neither consider the operation of his hands. 13 Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honorable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst. 14 Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it.

Knowledge at the Center
Knowledge, the Center of Our Walk

What a word this is! I was hoping for a shorter word for this evening but you could preach a decade on this. It is hard to know where to start but I am going to try to keep it short. There are so many ideas here. But I see the central theme for us this evening as being the 13th verse. “Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honorable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst.”

My People!

Notice here that God does not say the people, but “MY people” are gone into captivity. MY people! Not the world, not the denominations, not muslims or hindus, MY PEOPLE! The people of God, the church, the called out ones, are gone into captivity. We are supposed to be free. Jesus said the truth shall set us free. We have the word, and we have the message and yet Isaiah says we are being taken captive. How can this be? How can the church of the living God be taken captive in this day when we have the greatest light that has ever been? For the first time in history we not only have the entire Bible, but we have the entire Bible revealed. Even the Apostles didn’t have it. Luther didn’t have it. Wesley didn’t have it but we have it and today we also have captivity.

You might bed tempted to say “wait a minute, Isaiah is taking about his time”. The Bible says by two or three witnesses let all things be established.

Revelation 13: 8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. 9 If any man have an ear, let him hear. 10 he that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

Is this Isaiah’s time? This is here and now. This is our age. He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity. Who is leading into captivity? Who is leading the saints into captivity? The preachers! Preaching off the word and preaching a second hand gospel and preaching their own dogmas. They are leading the children of God into captivity. Look at our scripture.

11 Woe unto them that rise up early in the morning, that they may follow strong drink: that continue until night, till wine inflame them!

He is not talking about drunks here. This isn’t alcoholism. He is talking about a religious spirit, a religious fervor. They rise early with a religious fervor, they are full of religious emotion to the point where they become intoxicated and inflamed with it. Inflamed by it. Set on fire. Excited! They dance all over the stage, jump up and down and shout and scream from the pulpit. And the people in the benches are even worse. They put on a big show with lots of emotion. Church has become a Broadway musical these days. They get charged up and charge up the people and everyone is jumping and dancing and shouting “Amen!” to every word and not even paying attention to check what is being said.

2 Peter 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. 2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. 3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you; whose judgment now of a long time lingerth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.

There is your third witness. They with feigned words and fair speeches will lead into captivity. They will preach up a storm. There will be a huge emotional rush through the people. And they are doing it for money. Do you know how much they are making? Brother Branham refused to drive a Cadillac because he felt that he should not be driving a better car than the average man, and the cars they drive today put a Cadillac to shame. A brand new Cady would be a down payment for some of the cars, and jet airplanes, owned by preachers today. They have a religious spirit and the people sitting and listening will catch the same spirit and be taken captive by it. It is a very dangerous thing.

12 And the harp, and the viol, the babret, and pipe, and wine, are in their feasts: but they regard not the work of the lord, neither consider the operation of his hands.

The churches will have the best music programs, the best buildings, the most beautiful architecture, the most professional sound system, the most wonderful organization, but they also will “not regard the word of the Lord not consider the operation of his hands”. Quite a thought that such a big beautiful church who claims to follow the message and believe the word would be so far off from it as to not even consider it nor regard it. How can this be?

Religious Hypocrisy

Matthew 15:8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. 9 Teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

There you have it. Religious hypocrisy! We can sing, and we can have the best orchestra filled with university graduated musicians. We can praise, and we can pray, and we can worship, and we can call out in Jesus name. We can read the Bible, and we can quote the prophet and put his picture up all over our churches and homes, but if we disregard the Revealed Word of God in favour of a doctrine of man, no matter how good it sounds, how logical it is, then all of our worship is in vain. It all starts at the pulpit.

We have lots of preachers but very few Word preachers. Jesus said it would be this way. He said the harvest is great and the labourers are few. Pray for labourers! Pray that the Lord God would call more Spirit filled men to the field who will actually consider the operations of God, and regard the works of the Lord, and not care about the money or the popularity. Pray for men who know God and have intimate knowledge of his ways and his Word. How can I introduce you to someone who I do not know myself? We need Holy Spirit filled, God sent, anointed preachers. We have too many religious men and not enough Godly men. It has always been that way. One Elijah to 450 prophets of Baal. One Elisha to a whole host of worldly prophets. One Micah to 400 prophets with lying spirits.

It is the even worse today!

And these false anointed preachers are taking the people captive by the millions. Good people, children of God are being taken captive by these religious spirits in religious preachers. And you might ask why is it that they are able to take the children of God captive? Good question.

Knowledge

13 Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honorable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst.

Knowledge! The people are gone into captivity “because they have no knowledge”. Surprised? No knowledge. That is God’s own words from the mouth of his holy anointed, spirit filled prophet, not mine. God says the people, the message people, the message preachers, have no knowledge. As I pointed out earlier, we have both the Bible in print and the Message that reveals the Bible, both in print and on tape, and we hear it over and over and can quote from 3,000 hours of preaching by a vindicated prophet of God, and the Lord God says we have no knowledge.

The message believers today have no knowledge!

Knowledge of God does not come with Bible reading. Knowledge of God does not come with church going. Knowledge of God does not come with message listening. You do not get knowledge of God by pressing the play button. That might rub some wrong but just wait a moment, bear with me, and you will see. Knowledge of God does not come with singing or playing an instrument. If any of those would bring you knowledge of God then Saul of Tarsus would have known God personally for he was the most educated theologian in all of Israel. Yet when Saul came face to face with the Lord Jesus in the pillar of fire, he realized that he did not know anything of God whatsoever.

Knowledge of God comes only from a personal experience with God!

Saul learned more of the Lord God in those three or four minutes in front of that pillar of fire than in many years of Bible School and Seminary. Moses learned more of God in a few moments with a burning bush than in 80 years of life and 40 years of the best education that the world had to offer. In order to know God, to have knowledge of who and what the Lord God is, we have to meet God personally. Some will point quite accurately to the fact that the prophet directed us not to preach until we have seen God personally. Amen! But if you look to the message he went even further to say that you are not even a Christian until you have met God personally. And if we have not met him then how can we know him and if we do not know him, and have no knowledge of him, then we will be taken into captivity.

Our scripture goes on to say that the honorable men are famished. Starved! They are not being fed. The preachers are preaching, the singers are singing and the righteous are starving for the Word of God. How can this be brothers and sisters?

Preachers

Fleecing the Sheep
False Anointed at the End Times

Quoting another preacher, even a vindicated prophet, will never feed a true child of God. An eagle needs fresh meat, not left-overs chewed out from another man’s sermons. Brother Branham was a Word Prophet and as a Word Prophet he pointed us back to the Word of God alone. Every Word preacher will point you back to the Word of God alone as well. If the preacher has the same spirit as the prophet did, then he will preach the same way as the prophet did. The prophet preached from the Word.

Not only do the honorable suffer, but it says that the multitude is dried up with thirst. Thirst for the water of the spirit and a parched thirst for the moving of the spirit. There is a famine of hearing the Word of God and a thirst for the spirit that is not being met in the churches today. Remember the foolish virgins have no oil. The Laodicean church has no oil, only the Bride does. The church has no oil because they have no knowledge of God. And they have no knowledge of God because they have not met God. And they have not met God because they are not being told to seek him, and not being led to him. Right back to the pulpit again!

2 Timothy 2: 24 And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, 25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; If God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; 26 and that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

Straight from the pulpit it comes. We must not fight and argue but teach the truth for that will lead men to repentance, and by repenting they will meet God and He shall recover them from the snare of the devil, the religious spirit, that takes them captive at will. If the people are not told, then the people will not know. The watchman is responsible to the people to warn of the enemy.

For months every time I opened the Bible, any Bible, it always turned to the same spot, and every time I read it, it spoke loudly to me.

Ezekiel 13:1 And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, 2 Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel that prophesy, and say thou unto them that prophesy out of their own hearts, Hear ye the word of the Lord; 3 Thus saith the Lord God; Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing! 4 O Israel, thy prophets are like the foxes in the deserts. 5 They have not gone up into the gaps, neither made up the hedge for the house of Israel to stand in the battle in the day of the Lord. 6 They have seen vanity and lying divination, saying, The Lord saith: and the Lord hath not sent them: and they have made others to hope that they would confirm the word. 7 Have ye not seen a vain vision, and have ye not spoken a lying divination, whereas ye say, The Lord Saith it; albeit I have not spoken? 8 Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Because ye have spoken vanity, and seen lies, therefore, behold, I am against you saith the Lord God. 9 And mine hand shall be upon the prophets that see vanity, and that divine lies; they shall not be in the assembly of my people, neither shall they be written in the writing of the house of Israel, neither shall they enter into the land of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the Lord God.

Foolish teachers, ministers of any kind really, following their own spirit. They don’t stand in the breach. They are not sent of the Lord. they divine lies by preaching doctrines of men. They are taking the children of God captive by religion. These are not prophets of Baal that the Lord God is addressing here, these are prophets of spiritual Israel. These are not the denominations, these are the message preachers of today. Certainly there are good message preachers but this is not addressing them. This is quite accurately aimed at a select group of men that were not sent by God, but went according to their own ideas preaching for gain. And when these men get hold of a pulpit they will build big groups; huge groups, that have lots of religion, lots of emotion, but are starving for the Word and the Spirit of God.

We are just a little family here today but we desperately need to know this. If we do not come to know the Lord God personally through an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ, then we will be taken captive by a religious spirit. If we are in the wrong place, then we will be starved for the word, parched for the spirit, and surrounded by religious pomp and celebration. The Bible said that we are to offer up the sacrifice of praise, but if that sacrifice is not washed then it is an abomination to God. Religious pomp and celebration, no matter how skilled or sweet to the ear, if it is not sanctified by the Holy Spirit of God, it is an abomination unto him.

Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, 19 to preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

There is our answer. Jesus! He alone can set us free. He alone can give us liberty. He alone can free us from the spirits that threaten to take us captive. And he does it personally, not by creed, not by dogmas, not by church going, but by meeting him personally and getting to know him personally. We must regard the work of the Lord. We must consider his operations. God is alive and well. He is a miracle God. He is the same yesterday today and forever. Everything that is written in the Bible about him is just as true today as it was the day it was written.

Don’t get caught up in emotion. Don’t get caught up in a big show. Don’t get distracted by large crowds. Do not let a fancy building catch your eye. Get caught up in the spirit of God. The songs and the worship and the celebration are all important and even vital, but without the Spirit of God, it is dead. Where are the gifts? Where are the miracles? God is a miracle God. We point to the signs, wonders and miracles in Brother Branham’s ministry, but where are they in our lives? In Jesus’ day they pointed to Moses. In our day they point to Brother Branham. Let us look instead to Jesus. Let’s be like Gideon, the mighty man of valour, let’s seek out God personally and seek out his moving in our lives personally.

God is here right now to meet us. His spirit, the pillar of fire, is right there in the room with you at this very moment. He is waiting to hear from you, waiting for your invitation. He is waiting for you to regard His works and to consider His operations. Let’s all come together in one accord to consider His operations. Let’s all agree to regard His works. And not the works and operations of yesterday, but God’s works today in our lives, in our midst, right there in that room at the moment you are reading this.

The Bible says that the Lord is closer to you than your own breath. He is right there with you. The pillar of fire is right before you. Can you feel him? He is there filling the room. Seek him! Cry out to him! Reach out to him!

Receive Him!

Meet Him NOW!

The god of this world

World and The god thereof

We often talk about “God”. But what is God? The Word god means and object of worship, and as such there are many, many gods. For some people their car is a god, their wife is a god, the president of the United States is a god. Who is our god? Who, or what, is your god?

The Bible talks of the Lord God Jehovah. It talks of the great creator, the life giver, the healer, the redeemer the one true God and eternal life. It also speaks of another god. It speaks of another object of worship. This god, however, is a deceitful, horrible, lying, murdering, evil god. It is the god of this world and his name is Lucifer. The devil is the god of this world? He absolutely is for a god is an object of worship and the devil is worshipped by the entire world. Many will be very angry at me at this point, but if you sit back and search the scriptures with me I believe I can show you that what I say is true.

2 Corinthians 4: 3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

May the Lord God add his blessing to the reading of the Word.

As a note here, the word “world” in Scriptures is translated from the Greek word “cosmos” which means society, culture, mores and norms. It does not mean earth.

The Bible is written in incredible simplicity. It is written to be understood by all. God does not require an education, or great intellect to understand his word. He requires only that you desire to know, believe and follow the truth. But at the same time, the Bible is a great mystery that cannot be figured out by the smartest of men. The greatest scholars can look into the original transcripts, with tremendous knowledge of Greek, and Latin and Hebrew, and search the scriptures day and night, and take notes and confer with others and in the end know nothing. The most learned and trained theologians of today all disagree with each other and yet claim to be highly educated and experienced experts with decades of study.

Paul was the most educated man in Israel in his day. He was known as Saul of Tarsus. He was schooled by the greatest Bible teacher in Israel. He knew the law and the prophets by heart. He knew every prophecy of the Messiah and yet he did not recognize him when he came. He knew exactly what the scriptures said about the Messiah, and he knew all the prophecies concerning the Church and yet when he saw the Church in action living out those prophesies he condemned them to die as ungodly heretics.

The holy Apostles, called before the foundation of the world to be the first messengers of the gospel, sat under the teaching of John the Baptist and missed that he was Elijah for their day as prophesied by Malachi chapter 3. These were not just the average guys on the street, they were the twelve Holy Apostles. They had knowledge of the Word. They witnessed John’s ministry. They witnessed Jesus ministry even seeing John baptize Jesus. They heard John say “I am the voice of one calling out in the wilderness”. They heard John say “behold the Lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world”. They came to Jesus with the word, confused. Let us take the scripture on it:

Matthew 17: 10 And his disciples asked him, saying, why then say the scribes that Elias must first come? 11 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things. 12 But I say unto you, that Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them. 13 Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist.

John preached to them as the messenger sent before the Lord to show his coming, and they knew him not. Jesus said that John was more than a prophet and they could not even recognize that he was a prophet. The scribes, the theologians of the day, knowing full well the scriptures and quoting it to the people, pointed to the coming of Elijah and totally missed his appearance. They met him. They spoke to him. He quoted to them the scripture that vindicated his ministry. They were completely blind and oblivious to it. Just think about that and what it means for us.

Does it sound crazy? Not only did they miss the Elijah ministry of their day, but God himself was standing there in front of them in flesh, fulfilling each and every prophecy of the Messiah recorded in the scriptures, fulfilling each and every prophecy that they were pointing to and quoting, and they had no idea who he was. The very God of heaven, Jehovah in flesh, was performing miracle after miracle after miracle right in front of them and they were totally blind to it. Sounds crazy to us doesn’t it? Not only was the world blind to the fact that Jesus was the Messiah, they went so far as to call him the devil and then murder him. The greatest, smartest, most educated theologians and Bible scholars were completely blinded to the vindication of the very scriptures they memorized and quoted daily.

Malachi 4:5-6

Brother William Branham
Brother William Branham

But we also had a prophet in our day who had the manifestation of God in his ministry even to the raising of the dead and speaking into existence. He was a Word Prophet who completely fulfilled the scriptural prophesy of his ministry and the whole world missed it. It wasn’t just the secular world who missed it. The Pentecostal people, those that he was sent to, missed it. Millions of people sat in his ministry all over the planet. The ministries of men like Oral Roberts and Billy Graham came out from this man’s ministry. There are over 1,100 of his sermons on tape and nearly every one has a healing line where signs, wonders and miracles are recorded. Yet they all, all but a select few, missed it completely.

If William Branham was not the Elijah of Malachi 4:5-6, then who was? Answer me that.

The Bible says he must have already come, so if it was not William Marion Branham who fulfilled that prophecy then who was it? The Bible is clear. Malachi 4: 5-6 is clear. Zechariah 14 is clear. Revelation 10:7 is clear. Amos 3:7 that God would do nothing until he reveals it to his servant the prophet is clear. The Bible clearly tells us that we were to be sent a prophet in our age with the same ministry and spirit as Elijah to reveal the hidden mysteries and restore us back to the Word of God. Let’s read it.

Malachi 4: 5 Behold , I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord: 6 and he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

Elijah has to come before the “great and dreadful Day of the Lord”? The day of Jesus on earth was not dreadful. Jesus on earth was mercy. Jesus ministry on earth was salvation, healing and deliverance. It was the atonement, not the judgement. So then what is the “great and dreadful Day of the Lord?”

Zechariah 14: 1 Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, and they spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee. 2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the woman ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city. 3 Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. 4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south. 5 and ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the Lord my God shall come, and all the saints with thee. 6 and it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark: 7 But it shall be one day which shall be known to the Lord, not day, nor night: in it shall come to pas that at evening time it shall be light.

This is the judgment day, the return of Christ “with the saints”. And before that can happen Elijah must come to restore the Bride. Before Israel can be encompassed by all nations, Elijah must have come. Israel is encompassed by all nations today. The whole world is building up against them, blaming them for every evil on the planet. The world is preparing to go to war against God’s people Israel. The Lord is gathering the nations together so that he can judge them at once.

Elijah comes again the fifth time with Moses to Israel right away, and Israel is encompassed about right now, so the fourth manifestation of the ministry of the prophet Elijah must have already come. Somewhere at sometime in our recent past there must have been a man, with a prophetic ministry, with a vindicate message from God. There is no arguing that simple fact. Elijah has come.

The Mystery of God

Revelation 10:7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

The Lord of Glory
The Lord of Glory, Jesus Christ

What is the Mystery of God? There are many mysteries in the Bible. There are many things that God told through his prophets that he kept in symbolic form, but told the prophets it would be sealed up till the end times. For example, there are Daniel’s 70 weeks. There are the Seven Seals. There are the Seven Church Ages. There is the Mark of the Beast, the great whore of Babylon, the identity of the Antichrist etc etc. These are all great Mysteries. God gave us dozens of prophecies that he told his prophets to seal up to the end of the age. They are now all revealed. Every word in this Bible is now revealed for us!

So who was it? Who was Elijah? According to the Bible, and the events happening in the world, Elijah must have already come. Elijah must have fulfilled his ministry here on earth in our midst. Did you miss the Elijah of your day as the holy Apostles did in theirs? Do you know who Elijah was?

The world always misses it. They missed Noah. They missed Moses. They missed Elijah. They missed Jesus. They missed Luther. They missed Wesley, they missed Azuza street. And they are missing Jesus Christ even to this day. They are pointing to Jesus Christ in the scripture, and failing to recognize him fulfilling that same scripture today before them. Man is always pointing to what God did, talking about what God will do, and completely ignoring what God is doing right in front of them. Amen?

When Jesus was on earth in flesh, the religious people kept pointing back to Abraham and Moses. When the very God of Abraham and Moses, the great I AM, the pillar of fire, Elohim, Melchisedec, was standing right before them in the flesh and they could not see who he was. Do you see God this morning? Or do you only see him yesterday? Do you see a current Jesus Christ or a historic one?

The Message of the Hour

If there was a messenger, as the Bible shows us clearly that there was, then that messenger must have had a message. Each messenger throughout time has had a message. And the message that they brought for for their specific hour. Noah’s message of rain and a flood was specifically for the people of his day, and is of no direct use for any other day. Yes we learn from it, but we cannot act directly on it.

When God sends a messenger, he sends them with the Message of the Hour. The Message of the Hour in Noah’s day was rain, flood and judgement. The Message of the Hour in Lot’s day was fire and judgement. The Message of the Hour in John the Baptist’s day was salvation and the coming of the Lord. Martin Luther brought the message of Justification. John Wesley was sent to us with the message of Sanctification.

In each age a messenger is sent. That messenger is sent with the Message of the Hour. All who receive the Message of the Hour are the Bride of Jesus Christ for that day.

We sit back as “message people” in our vanity and think we got it all figured out. We think we got the Message of the Hour, so we think. We believe we had a prophet, and so we did. We look down on the denominations because they miss it. And yet we tend to be just as blind as they are or worse!

Where is God today?

How often do you hear preaching about what God did in the prophet’s ministry as though it were happening today? Yes the lord worked many miracles, signs and wonders through his ministry. There is not denying it. But, that was over 50 years ago! What is God doing today? Yes he raised the dead 50 years ago, yes he healed the sick 50 years ago, but what is God doing today in our lives, in our midst? What did the Lord do in your life today? Are we missing it? Are we pointing back to yesterday and missing today? Is our testimony about the power of God relegated to stories of God’s moving in the prophet’s ministry? Have we any signs wonders and miracles today?

“You cannot warm a man with a picture of a fire”. William Branham told us that. We like to quote him. We even like to quote that quote, then we act totally contrary to it. You got to have the real thing! You cannot save a man with a historical God. If Jesus Christ cannot do the very same signs, wonders and miracles, right here and right now that is written of him in the Bible, then he is useless to us. But he is the same yesterday, today and forever. And every single thing written of him in the Bible is just as true today as the day it was written.

He was the healer then. He is the healer now. He was the saviour then. He is the saviour this morning. He was the truth, the life and the way, the bright morning star, the lily of the valley, the great I AM, the pillar of fire, and he is exactly those things right here, right now. Are we seeing it?

Revelation

I wrote some time ago on “when their eyes were opened”. Our eyes have to be opened to see the truth, else we will miss it.

When Their Eyes Were Opened
When Their Eyes Were Opened

We can only understand the scriptures through revelation of the spirit of God. You will never figure it out. I will never figure it out. We will never study our way into heaven. You will never learn salvation. It comes purely and only by revelation. If we do not seek revelation on the word of God, and we do not wait for that revelation, then we will never understand the word of God. If we do not wait on God for an answer we will never know what the Bible is telling us. It will look like complete contradiction to us.

How can the scripture on one hand tell us that Jesus Christ is the only mediator between God and man, and in another scripture tell us that it is the Holy Spirit that does the mediation? How can Jesus tell us to be baptized in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and Peter and Paul tell us to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ? Without revelation you will never understand it. How can the Bible say that God hated Esau before he was even born and still be fair?

You want to know what really happened in Eden? I can tell you but without revelation you will not believe me. You want to know the Mystery of the Godhead? I can explain it to you but God has to reveal it for you to get it. A while ago we looked at the book of Ruth. To the world it is just a story of a woman and her daughter in law going home to Israel and getting their land back. But with the revelation of the Holy Spirit we see that the book of Ruth depicts God’s entire plan, as the Kinsmen Redeemer, of salvation for both Jews and gentiles.

The reason we have so many churches, lodges really, all preaching differently is that there is no revelation among them. They interpret the word by their own understanding and according to the desires and lusts of their flesh. When we decide ahead of time what the Bible says, then we look for scriptures that we can “interpret” to agree with us and deny and explain away the rest of the Bible that doesn’t.

Today we are preaching the Message of the Hour. We are preaching what the prophet preached, the unadulterated, revealed word of God for the hour. But we do not have the moving of God as the prophet did. If we get sick, a little pain here or there, the first thing we do is run to the doctor. Why is it so? Where are we at?

Matthew 23: 2 Saying The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat: 3 All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that obey and do; but do not ye after their works: for they sway and do not. 4 For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers. 5 But all their works they do for to be seen of men: them make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments, 6 and love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues.

Does this sound familiar to you? Have you seen it in churches around you, possibly ones you attend? So why is that? So why is there no revelation among the so called Christians? Why do we not see the simple truth that we ourselves are preaching? We have become like a sounding brass. We make noise but there is no power behind it. Why does the religious world miss the truth, and so many of those who have the  truth preached to them, or even preach the truth themselves, not live it? Why the gross blindness? Why the hypocrisy?

The Greatest Battle Ever Fought

I am actually writing an entire book on this subject at the moment. There are two forces at work in this world. They are fighting a war that started a very long time ago. One is the creator and the other is the destroyer. One gives life and the other takes it. One is the God of heaven, the other it the god of this world. You were wondering when we would get to this. Sometimes we need a bit of buildup before making a point. We will all serve one or the other. The only way to overcome the devil is through Jesus Christ. A church cannot save you. Good works cannot save you. Only the indwelling of the Holy Spirit which comes through the new birth can overcome the devil.

1 John 4: 4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. 5 They are of the world: therefore they speak of the world, and the world heareth them. 6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

If we are overcomers then it is only through Jesus Christ living in us that we are. The world does not overcome. The world refuses to hear the gospel. They will gladly hear creeds, dogmas, sociology, psychology and anything else you throw at them, but they will refuse the word of God. Notice there is no third position. We either worship and serve Jesus Christ, or we worship and serve Satan. Period. These are hard words but absolutely true. There are only two controlling spirits, good and bad, dark and light, life and death, there is heaven and hell, but there is no third option. Here is another scripture to show you.

Romans 6: 16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? 17 But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. 18 Being made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.

It is unmistakable! Take a deep breath. I don’t mean to hurt you, but I am bound to tell you the truth. Here it goes.

Every person who is not born again of the Holy Spirit is serving the devil.

Oh good, you are still reading. Now let us go deeper. Even those who are born of the Spirit of God used to serve the devil prior to the new birth. It says so clearly in the above scripture. We “were” the servants of sin until we received and obeyed the gospel of Jesus Christ. Notice here too that Paul uses the personal pronoun “whom”. It is not what you obey, as an inanimate thing or a lifeless doctrine or creed, but rather “whom” as a person. Every word has a life, a spirit behind it. I spoke of this in Every Seed After His Kind. We either serve and obey Jesus Christ through the faith and obedience to the Word of God, or we serve and worship Satan through disbelief and disobedience to the Word of God.

And that is the test. Do we accept, believe and obey the Word of God exactly as it is written or do we add, subtract and mutilate the written word to try to bend it to fit our own desires? When the Bible says to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, do we immediately seek water and get baptized, or do we say the wording is not important as long as we are baptized? When the Bible says that we must have foot washing with the Lord’s Supper do we wash each other’s feet, or do we say “oh, that was because they wore sandals back then”? Do we accept the Word of God or reject Jesus Christ in favour of our church’s dogmas and creeds? Do we worship and serve Jesus Christ or Satan?

God spent 6 days, or 6 – 1000 year periods building Eden. The devil has spent the last 6000 years building his Eden. We are living today in Satan’s Eden. Let that sink in. He is ready to incarnate himself as the antichrist and dwell amongst his children in his paradise. Before he can do that, the Holy Spirit must vacate the gentile world. The only presence of the Lord God Jehovah in this world is the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in his born again children. Period.

The only presence of the Lord Jesus Christ on earth is in the Christians.

While God is still dealing with the gentiles, the devil cannot take his position. Once the last of God’s predestinated sheep is in the fold, and brought to maturity, then God takes his bride home and leaves the world to the devil and his children. Unfortunately the foolish virgins and the Jews will be left as well, and will have to deal with it.

Romans 11: 25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of his mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, unto the fullness of the Gentiles come in. 26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Zion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: 27 For this is my covenant to them, when I shall take away their sins. 28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the Father’s sakes. 29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.

During that time of three and a half years, God will only be dealing with the 144,000 predestinated seed in Israel. The plagues will be striking the rest of the earth but the only voice of God anywhere on earth will be in the two prophets preaching to Israel. Without God in this world, the foolish virgins will have no protection and will be mercilessly slaughtered by the world. The religious world will gather and kill the foolish virgins and think that they are doing God a service. They will be serving the god of this world, the devil, and thinking they are serving the Living God. Jesus said it would be so. Get in Christ today!

The god of this world

Satan is the god of this world, and the god of this evil age. Today, what is evil is called good, and what is good is called evil. Speak one word against homosexuality or abortion and see for yourself. Speak in favour of Israel one time and see how they react. Tell them that the Bible forbids women preachers or that Jesus said in Luke that all remarriage outside of widowhood is adultery. Tell a religious person that they need to be rebaptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and watch how they react. Apollos who was originally baptized by John the Baptist, in Acts 19, took his entire congregation and got rebaptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Unto what were ye baptized? Will you go find water and get baptized properly? Every predestinated seed of God will.

The devil appeals to the desires of our flesh and our minds. His doctrines feel good to us and are logical and make sense. The doctrine of the devil will never convict us of sin. The doctrine of the devil will tell us that we are saved when we are not saved. The doctrine of the devil will never correct you, it will never point you back to the word of God but instead will interpret it to you in a way that will make your flesh feel good. You will walk into church a sinner, and leave a sinner, with no change to your life or attitude, yet thinking you are saved, simply because you attended or joined that church. The devil will tell you that God loves you just as you are and you do not need to change.

How evil is the world?

1 John 2: 15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17 and the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth forever.

The things of the world are not of the Father, they are of the god of this world. Worldliness is of the devil. If we love the world’s fashions then we love Satan’s fashions. If we love worldy music then we love Satan’s music. If we love worldly politics, society, religion, philosophy, ideology etc, then we love the devil’s stuff. If we love the things of the world, then we love the things of the devil, and therefore we actually love the devil! I’ll let that sink in. If we love the things of the world, then we love the devil. Amen? Hold on it gets a little sharper yet. Is all the world ruled by him?

Luke 4: 5 And, the devil taking him up into a high mountain, and showed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time; 6 And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it. 7 if thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.

Do you still wonder why politics is so corrupt? The devil chooses who is in charge in the world. The Bible says so. That is why you won’t find a Christian in politics. They may try to sway people, but they will never be elected into office. You will find many who call themselves Christians but a real Christian stays away. They won’t want him around. Look to the Bible. Look at Abraham and Lot. Abraham stayed to his own while Lot went down into Sodom and got himself elected into a government position, the mayor of Sodom, for it says he sat at the gates judging the people. Who do you associate yourself with, Abraham the father of faith, or Lot. Are you of the World?

Who is your father? There are two gods, two fathers, two seeds. Are we of God, or of the wicked one? Do we see the gospel or is it hid to us? Are we of God or of the World?

When we cannot see the gospel, when we do not understand the revealed word of God for the hour, it is because the devil is blinding our minds to it. In Luther’s day the devil blinded people’s minds to Luther’s message and they rejected both him and his message. That message came from God so when they rejected Luther, they rejected God. In Noah’s day they rejected Noah’s message because the god of this world blinded their minds to it. And every one of them is dead, eternally separated from God.

And how did the devil blind their minds to Noah’s message? What trick did he use? He used logic, reasoning, science, philosophy and religion. Those are the tricks he has always used and will always use. It did not make sense that it would rain since at that time no rain fell. It did not rain before the flood. Science tells you right now that what I just told you is impossible but if you look into the scripture you will see that the original year had 360 days and today we have 365 ¼ days, and the 23 degree axis tilt did not exist then either. So the whole planet was in a different orbit than it is today. Whatever caused the flood knocked the whole planet out of alignment. The little earthquake that caused the Indonesian tsunami a few years back actually changed the length of the day, as did the big one in Haiti and the monster in Japan.

When Noah, in an age with all the science we have today and maybe a wee bit more, came preaching that God would destroy the earth with a flood caused by rain from the sky, it was easy for the devil to use reasoning, logic and science to blind the minds of the whole world to the truth. It had never rained, thus it could not rain. Simple logic tells you that. But they did not take everything into consideration. God said it would happen and it happened. Today we are told that the earth is reserved unto fire where the very elements will melt with a fervent heat. Do you believe it?

When Jesus came, how did the devil blind the minds of the people to who Jesus really was?

Mark 6: And he went out from thence, and came into his own country; and his disciples follow him. 2 And when the Sabbath day was come, he began to teach in the synagogue: and many hearing him were astonished, saying, From whence hath this man these things? And what wisdom is this which is given unto him, that even such mighty works are wrought by his hands 3 Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Judah, and Simon? And are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended at him. 4 But Jesus said unto them, a prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, an din his own house. 5 and he could there do no might work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them.

The devil used reasoning and logic. They knew Jesus as a man and could not see that he was God. Even though he had amazing wisdom and worked signs and wonders, carnal reasoning told them that he was just a carpenter. Why would God choose him when he has a hundreds of priests and rabbis to use? It is the same today.

Why would God use a little corner church when he can use a big organization? A little church on the corner can only reach a handful of people but a big organized church can reach out to hundreds, thousand and even millions. Why would God choose an uneducated hillbilly when he has thousand of educated, theologians with Phd’s to their names and huge organizations backing them? Surely a logical God would use the big church. If a church has lots of members and lots of money, that must mean that they are right in their teaching and God is blessing them, right?

Who did God choose to forerun the first coming of Jesus Christ? He chose a man who was orphaned into the wilderness at the age of 12 and grew up on a diet of locusts and honey. Who crucified Jesus? The big organizations with lots of members and lots of money did it. What denomination was Jesus a member of? The denominations kicked him out and killed him. And yet today if you don’t have a university degree and a letter and membership card from a big organization nobody will hear you. That is the world in a nutshell.

St. John 15: 18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. 19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. 20 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If hey have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep your also. 21 But all these things will they do unto you for my name’s sake, because they know not him that sent me.

The world is of the devil for he is their god. Satan is the god of this world. He rules their politics, he rules their religion, he rules their fashion, he rules their entertainment. Logic, reasoning and blindness are the devil’s handiwork and he always plays to the lust of the flesh and the pride of the eye. The Bible warns that in our age, it would be the darkest, blindest age of all.

Isaiah 60: 2 For behold the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee and his glory shall be seen upon thee.

Not just a darkness but a gross darkness on the people. The devil has been more successful at blinding the hearts and minds of people in this age than in any other age before. In this age alone do we have the entire Bible revealed and in this age we have the most darkness as well. So much so that this is the only age in which we are told we are completely blind as a church. This is the age where we are warned that the devil would be so convincing that he would fool the very elect if it were possible.

Revelation 3: 14 And unto the angel of the church of Laodiceans write; These things sith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; 15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. 16 So then because thour art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew thee out of my mouth. 17 Because thou sayest I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou are wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: 18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.

This is Jesus talking here. He is not addressing the world, he is addressing the church. This letter is directed at the Bride of Christ. This is the condition of the spirit filled church today. This is the condition of the “message people”. The world is in far worse condition. The church today is blind! The church today is naked. We think we got it all and we got nothing. He is counseling us. Get treasures in heaven. Get white raiment. Get eyesalve.

The church today is blind and the god of the world has blinded them.

Look at your life. How are you living? Are you living the message or have the things of the world crept in to your life? Are you a walking Bible to every person you meet? Do we really see, understand, believe and obey this message? Are we living this message every day in our lives or is it a story of 50 years ago? Is God in our lives in the same way he was in the book of Acts? Are the signs, wonders and miracles following us? Have we met him personally? Do we have a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ?

Or is the gospel hid to us? Is the Bible an open book to us, or is it a book of riddles that must be “interpreted” by our denomination, our theologian, our preacher, our pope etc. There are very many who will never see it no matter how long it is preached. Jesus said that there would only be a few that would see it, the rest would be blinded to it.

But the god of this world is subtle. He does not come with a pitch fork and a horse tail. When he comes to deceive the elect, he comes preaching the message of the hour. I have seen it where a man came and preached perfectly on the word for two straight hours, got the crowd excited, subtly slipped in his own personal heresy, and then went back to preaching perfectly for another hour. And the crowd all said Amen and missed it. They were not paying attention and accepted a false doctrine with no basis in the Word of God.

Mark 13:22 For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall show signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.

The word “Christ” means anointed. So a False Christ is a False anointed one. They truly are anointed but are not doing the works of God. Balaam was such a one. He was an anointed prophet. He prophesied with “thus saith the Lord”. When he went to curse Israel, he had to bless them because he was a prophet under an anointing and could only say the words God put in his mouth. But when he was not prophesying he brought in his damnable heresy that almost ended the nation of Israel. The high priest in Jesus day prophesied under an anointing because of his position. Jesus said that the high preist was a child of his father the devil and yet he still prophesied under the anointing of the Holy Spirit.

I encourage everyone to listen to Brother Branham’s sermon “False anointed at the endtime”; that is your homework. Give it a good listen, it will help you understand that paradox. Also check out the sermons “Satan’s Eden” and “the God of this Evil Age”.

The false annointed come so close as to deceive the elect. So they must be message preachers! A catholic priest with a turned around collar is never going to deceive you, but someone who can quote the message like a machine gun is another story. And they will use the same doctrine of Balaam to blind the hearts and minds of the people. Look who God likens them to.

Jude 1: 11 Woe unto them! For they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core. 12 These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried aobut of winds: trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots; 13 Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reseved the blackness of darkness forever. 14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, 15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him. 16 These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men’s persons in admiration because of advantage.

Cain, Balaam, Core; these were all false anointed of their day. These were all claiming to be believers. They were not the heathen. Balaam a prophet, lost because of his greed for money and power and popularity. Cain had the biggest most beautiful church and was murderously jealous of Abel’s little alter because God was with Abel and that condemned Cain. Core, what a scoundrel he was. God opened the very earth to devour him. He was after money and power and blasphemed God’s chosen, anointed prophet and the message of the hour to his day.

They all did the same thing. They all had a big ecclesiastical move to gather people to them, to earn power, and popularity and money. They all pretended to be believers yet did not believe.

Numbers 16:2 And they rose up before Moses, with certain of the children of Israel, two hundred and fifty princes of the assembly, famous in the congregation, men of renown: 3 And they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron, and said unto them, Ye take too much upon you, seeing all the congregation are holy, every one of them, and the Lord is among them: wherefore then lift ye up yourselves above the congregation of the lord?

Core was after power and accused Moses of doing the very thing that he himself was guilty of. He gathered all the popular men of his day together of a big ecclesiastical convention and rose up against the prophet that God sent. Core took 250 souls with him to his death.

Balaam told the Moabites to get their girls to fellowship with the Israelite boys saying that we are all “Christians” as we would say today. That led Israel off into idolatry. That cost Israel 24,000 lives. And it would have been far worse if a man, a boy actually, named Phinehas, had not stepped in. He came from good stock, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron. He stepped in when he saw the evil that was afoot. He could not take it anymore, it vexed his soul and he acted and God was pleased with him.

We need more Phinehases today!

We need someone to step in and act to correct the wrong. We need men with spines to stand upon the Word of God and call black, black and white, white and to condemn sin from pillar to post! We need men who are willing to be cast out from everyone, to live as hermits if necessary, but to stand strong upon the truth and both live and preach the revealed word of God for the hour. We have too many wishy washy pretenders looking for money, power and glory in the pulpits today.

The devil blinded the eyes of the people to the message of their hour and he did it with religion, with popularity, with money, with reason, with logic, with a private interpretation of the word of God that does not line up with the word of God. He came in Moses day with the prophet’s own message to the believers and peeled off 250 preachers with him. They all burned incense. And the numbers were low because God put a quick stop to it. If God would have let Core go he would have drawn half of Israel along to hell with him.

What about today? How many are being drawn off with the doctrine of Balaam? How many blinded by the gainsaying of Core? How many false prophets and false anointed looking to get rich off the people do we have today? How many having itching ears do we have behind the pulpits? Tell the people what they want to hear, please their flesh and they will fill the seats, and empty your wallet.

The Bible says “there must come a falling away first”. They are falling like rain.

Just ask yourself, if there are so few being raptured, then why are there so many in churches? The god of this world has blinded their minds and they can no longer see the truth! They will believe any lie they are fed.

2 Thessalonians 2: 8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: 9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10 and with all deceivable ness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 and for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie.

If we do not love the truth, we will get to the point where we cannot believe it, or even see it anymore, and we will believe the devil’s lies as gospel. Once the devil has blinded our minds to the truth, we are under a strong delusion and will believe a total fabrication, a total lie. That is why we have over 1,100 “churches” all preaching out of the same book and all preaching different. We have every form of insanity being preached and the people are gobbling it up. There are “churches” preaching that there is no devil, they baptize in titles instead of the name of Jesus Christ, they don’t believe in the rapture, they don’t believe in the gifts, they put up Xmas tress, they have women preachers, they marry homosexuals and divorced people, and the list goes on and on.

The word of God is sure. There is no room for argument. But our flesh does not like it and if we fail to crucify our flesh then we will turn from the Word of God and accept the dogmas and creeds of men and believe the lies to be the truth.

2 Timothy 4: 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

Fables instead of the Word of God. The whole protestant world is wrapped up in the World Counsel of Churches, the image of the beast, and has denied the Word of God. They have pushed out Jesus Christ in favour of man made dogma. Twice dead plucked up by the roots. They cannot endure the preaching of the Word of God because it condemns their worldly, ungodly lives. So instead of repenting and accepting the Word of God they reject the Word of God and heap to themselves preachers who will not scold them, preachers who will not correct them, preachers who will not strike against their ungodliness from the pulpit. They will find preachers who will not cry out for the abominations in the city. And by turning away from the word they will receive a strong delusion so that they will believe the lies that come from the liars they put in the pulpits.

The liars will tell them that they are saved when they are hopelessly lost and the people will rejoice to hear it. They will compromise on the Word of God and the people will say amen to it. They will turn the services into Hollywood extravaganzas award winning performances and the song services into rock concerts and the people will clap their hands and rejoice.

And in the message churches we are seeing the same thing happen, but it must happen for the word said it would happen.

2 Thessalonians 2: 3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition. 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself to be God.

Now that is the antichrist, who we now know is the pope. Through the prophet’s ministry we can now see in the word of God exactly what the Mark of the Beast is. But that is for another sermon. But the scripture says that there must be a falling away first. In order to fall away we have to have something to fall away from. If we are following a lie to begin with then we have nothing to fall away from. So it is not a falling away from religion but a falling away from the vindicated message of the hour. And from the scriptures we can also see that the falling away will be so close as to deceive the elect of God if it were possible.

It is true that some will fall away to denomonationalism and become beast worshippers. That is surely happening. But there is also a falling away to the doctrine of Balaam and the gainsaying of Core while still giving homage to the Revealed Word of God. And that is the most dangerous of all. The god of this world is managing to blind the minds of the foolish virgins just enough to keep them from receiving the Holy Spirit. And he does it through the same means as he has always used. He will us logic, reasoning, religion, popularity, politics, money, power etc. He will use an ecclesiastical move like Core to round up all the believers on his side. He will promote cross fellowship and gather the sheep, or steal sheep, from other churches and play on their lusts to get them away from the word. And they will fleece them for every dime in their pockets while he is at it.

The god of this world has an agenda. He wants you dead, both physically and spiritually. He will tempt you, con you, lie to you, confuse you, torment you, condemn you, praise you, bless you, persecute you and do anything and everything to get you off of the Word of God.

First he will butter you up and tell you how wonderful you are, how holy, how spiritual. He will play straight to your pride. Then he will bring the Word to you and try to interpret it to you. He will make it look so beautiful. He will make it look so glamorous. He will make it look so reasonable and logical. He will appeal to your every carnal sense and to your every fleshly lust. He will bring his lie in such a way that it will sound perfect to your flesh. The devil’s lie will meet every fleshly desire you have. Then he will try to get you to compromise on the Word, to admit there is some merit in what he is saying. Then he will attack you and demoralize you. He is a killer. He is a destroyer. He is a liar and a murderer, and the father of it all.

The only escape is the Word. The Bible promises us that if we resist the devil and he shall flee from us. He is a bluffer. He was defeated at Calvary 2,000 years ago. Jesus Christ defeated him, took his authority away, paid the price for our every sin, cleansed our iniquities and healed all of our diseases.

Satan has no power over you except the that you give him.

Resist him. Reject him. Take God’s Word no matter how hard it is for it will cleanse you and give you eternal life. Don’t look at physical evidence, look at the promised Word of God. Abraham did not look at his old age or his withered wife. He looked at God’s promise and believed and received a son at the age of 100 with his 90 year old wife. Noah did not look at science but trusted God’s promise of rain and spent 120 years building and ark and preaching that it would rain when science told him it could not.

Isaiah told us that we would be in a state of gross darkness, but in the evening there would be light. Walk in that light while it is still shining for one day very soon there will be absolutely no light left for the gentiles. A day is fast approaching when it will simply be too late. Are you in Christ Jesus this morning? Have you been closing your eyes to the truth? Have you been led away with religion, politics, reason, logic, glamour, popularity, money? Are you feeding your flesh or your soul? Are you eating the fresh manna?

The devil is defeated. He is exposed. The light that shines from Jesus Christ casts out all darkness. Don’t let the devil blind your minds any longer. Don’t let the gospel be hid to you. Cry out to God for revelation! God is calling the bride to repentance! Repent and live the message. Do what the word tells you to do. If it says repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, then do it, do it today for tomorrow may be too late. Whatever the word says, do it.

Don’t trust in numbers. Don’t trust in man. Don’t trust in organization. Trust only in Jesus Christ. Do not let the god of this world blind your eyes to the truth. Satan is the god of this world and the whole world worships and adores him and does not even know it; they are blind. The world is blind! The denominations are blind! Satan is the god of this world.

Revelation 13: 8 And ALL that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

Please, I beg of you, open your eyes!

When Their Eyes Were Opened

When Their Eyes Were Opened

Luke 24: 30 And it came to pass, as he sat at meat with them, he took bread, and blessed it, and brake, and gave to them. 31 and their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight.

Luke 18:43 And immediately he received his sight, and followed him, glorifying God: and all the people, when they saw it, gave praise unto God.

When Their Eyes Were Opened
When Their Eyes Were Opened

May God add His blessing to the reading of His Word. What we would like to speak on here for a few moments is to tie these two scriptures perfectly together. This is a powerful scripture. I would like to take for a text, “when their eyes were opened”. When their eyes were opened they knew him and in Luke 18, when his eyes were opened he followed. When their eyes were opened. Before their eyes were opened they did not know Jesus or follow Him even though He was right there with them. They should have known him for they spent the last three years with him day and night. If you notice, not only were they not following him, but he was following them. We never went looking for the Lord God, he came looking for us. You did not find God, He came looking for you and when He opened your eyes, then you saw him, and then you started following Him. Are our eyes opened this morning? Jesus did it!

Israel was called to be the people of God. They were, and still are, a holy nation, a chosen people, and a blessed people. God was with them and them alone. They had prophets, they had history with God, they had signs and wonders, they had the scriptures, they had the Law of God, they had God’s promise to Abraham, they had the message of the hour brought by the Elijah of their day, John the Baptist. They had everything you could ask for except that they did not have open eyes.

How could this be? This is not my words this is Bible.

Matthew 13: 14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, by hearing ye shall hear and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see and not perceive.

Did you get that? They both saw and heard everything, and yet they saw and heard nothing. Is that not exactly the same today? I met a fellow in Victoria who had just come from church one Sunday. He said it was great at church that morning so I asked him what the preacher spoke on and he could not remember. Does that sound fantastic? Not more than a half hour after the service and he could not remember a singe aspect of what was spoken. It is Bible too. It is the parable of the sower; some seed fell beside the road and the birds got it immediately. His heart was not prepared that day to receive the word, so his eyes were closed, and no sooner did he hear the word but the devil came and took it from him. He heard it all and still heard nothing. And it is very, very common today.

Jesus Christ the same yesterday today and forever. Amen? So is the devil. God don’t change and neither does the devil. The prophet told us if we want to know what Jesus is today all we have to do is find out what he was in the Bible times of yesterday and we will know exactly what Jesus is today. He was our healer yesterday and so he is our healer today. He was the life-giver yesterday and he is our life-giver today. He was the deliverer yesterday and he is still the same deliverer today. He is our prophet, priest and King. He is the resurrection and the life, the same yesterday, today and forever.

And if we want to know what the devil is today all we have to do is find out what he was in the Bible times of yesterday. And if we want to know what people are like today, and what the church is like today, all we have to do is find out what they were like in the Bible times of yesterday. Is that Bible?

Look what it says about the people.

Matthew 23: 29 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchers of the righteous, 30 and say, if we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets. 31 Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets. 32 Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers. 33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?

Jesus is telling us right here that the people of His day were exactly like the people of previous days and that their own testimony condemned them as such. They were a generation of vipers. Cain’s seed, the serpent’s seed is still the serpent’s seed. They are today just as their daddy was 6,000 years ago in Eden! They haven’t changed. There is no evolution, only devilution! Read or listen to William Branham’s sermon “Satan’s Eden”. That is your homework for this week. You will see that it clearly. Look at the warning to our time. How did Jesus say this time would be? What did He tell us to watch for?

As it was in the days of Noah and as it was in the days of Lot, so shall it be at the end. As it was 3,000 years ago and as it was 4,000 years ago so shall it be today. So if we find out what things were like in the days of Noah and how was it in the days of Lot, then we should be able to identify the end times. We should know these things.

Matthew 24: 37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark 39 and knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

They were eating and drinking and building and marrying wives, multiple remarriages, oblivious to the situation, even though they had a prophet of God preaching from the roof tops for 120 years that the end was coming. Sound familiar? Every person on earth heard the message of Noah. There was not a soul that did not know about this crazy old man with his land-locked boat collecting hundreds of baby animals in pairs and stowing them away on this monstrosity of a barge during what was probably one of the worst heat waves in memory.

The Message of the Hour was everywhere. They all knew it, and they all discarded it because their science, and their philosophy,  their logic and their reasoning told them that it was impossible for it to rain, and certainly impossible for the whole earth to be flooded.

Their religion, the religion of Cain, told them that God was a good God and surely they wouldn’t die. After all Cain was allowed to continue on. The very same lie he told Eve and it was still at work in Noah’s day, and it is still at work today. It is still being preached today. Live any way you want, believe whatever you want, as long as you worship God because God is a good God and would never judge one of His worshippers. The serpent, Cain, and the people of Noah’s day all had the same relationship with God, which was no relationship at all, and thus the same religion. They heard and they saw everything, and they heard and saw absolutely nothing! And every one of them is dead, eternally separated from God.

On the very first Easter, Jesus went down into hell and preached to the lost, the souls who rejected Noah. He went there to vindicate Noah, and to condemn them. His very presence did that.

The almighty Lord God hasn’t changed, the devil hasn’t changed, and humanity has not changed. People are the same, only worse. The same quality with just more quantity. In Jesus’ day He pronounced upon the church the prophesy of Isaiah and today the very same prophesy is pronounced upon the people by that same Lord Jesus Christ.

Revelation 3: 14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; these things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; 15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. 16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew thee out of my mouth. 17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked.

That is the Church today. That is not the world, that is the Church! Jesus was speaking to the Church in His day, and here He speaks about the Church of our day, for he titles it “unto the angel of the CHURCH of Laodicea”. We are at the end of the end. This is the seventh and last Church Age and we are at the end of it. Elijah has come and gone long ago. Israel has been in the holy land for nearly 70 years now. The message of the hour is all over the planet, even in countries like Iran and North Korea. There are websites everywhere about the message, tracts and books are printed by the tens of thousands in virtually every single language and there have been preachers and missionaries to no end all over the planet. We have had the most published message of all time. You can even see videos of the prophet on You-tube and Facebook! Just as in Jesus’ day, the Church is blind! It sees and sees not, it hears and hears not. This generation has seen and heard everything and yet has seen and heard absolutely nothing.

How can people be so blind? What happened to them to blind them? Spiritual things are not difficult things, they are not complex things, they are simple things yet people have become blind to them. Why?

2 Corinthians 4: 3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

The gospel is hid to those that the god of this world, the devil, has blinded. The serpent’s seed will never ever see it. The simplest spiritual things are hidden from them forever. And not just the meaty things but even the milk. Even things which are written in black and white become invisible. Things like the godhead, footwashing with the Lord’s supper, Christmas trees and even water baptism. Look how clearly the Bible lays out water baptism for us.

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

Could it be written any plainer that that? There is nothing left to ponder, nothing to argue, nothing left to chance. Proper water baptism is expressed here in minute detail and yet they cannot see it. There is not one record of anyone in the Bible after John the Baptist, not in church records, nor in secular history, being baptized in any other way than immersion in the name of Jesus Christ prior to the Nicene Council of 325 AD.

Baptism in titles is catholic in origin and is absolutely contrary to the Word of God. Proper water baptism is so essential that Paul commanded all those baptized in any other way, including the baptism of John the Baptist, to be rebaptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Apollos and the Italian band, believers, baptized by John the Baptist, had to be rebaptized in order to receive the Holy Ghost. It is the same for each and every one of us today. Apollos had open eyes. HIs eyes were opened. He believed the word when he heard it and obeyed it, even if he did not completely understand it. He was not too proud. It is clearly written in black and white and yet people will not believe it, because they cannot see it. They cannot believe it. It is Bible and they cannot believe it because the god of this world, the devil, has blinded their eyes to it. And it is by our choice that he blinds us. We’ll see that in a bit.

And if they cannot see something as simple, as straight-forward, and as obvious as water baptism, how will they ever see more complex matters? If we cannot come to understanding of justification, where will we be on sanctification and the baptism of the Holy Spirit?

And the people in Jesus day whose eyes were closed were not a bunch of drunks in a bar, they were the religious church goers. The drunks and prostitutes came to him, repented and received him. The rejecters were educated in the Word and the Law. They were theologians, pastors, preachers, evangelists etc. The scriptures were read to them, and even by them, every single Sabbath. They knew the Law and the Prophets forwards and backwards. It is the same today. It is the religious that are blind. We read of the Laodicean Church, not Laodician world, the Church. That is us, that is the church going christians! Blind and don’t even know it! What a miserable state to be in. Poor, wretched, miserable, and blind and don’t even know it.

How can people ever get help if they don’t even know they got a problem? The religious world of today is blind. The Bible says that Jesus is outside of the church, knocking at the door trying to get back in. Jesus’ generation murdered him, and this religious generation is crucifying Him afresh.

Hebrews 6: 4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, 5 and have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, 6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

Christ Crucified for You
Do Not Crucify the Lord Jesus Christ Afresh

If we hear it, and we see it, and we taste it, and it is shown to us in the Bible, and we willfully reject it, then we crucify Christ afresh and step out from the mercy of God. If we see and see not, and if we hear and hear not, if we see and hear it and reject it, rejecting the Revealed Word of God for the Hour, we become willfully blind and become guilty of the body and blood of Jesus Christ. The Bible doesn’t say we have to understand every word, it says we have to believe every word.

In the old testament they had a party every 50 years that they called the jubilee. At jubilee they would blow the trumpet and any slave who heard it would be set free forever. But if that slave liked his master he could request to be taken to the gates of the city and his master would pierce his ear with an awl, and that slave would become a slave forever no matter how many more times he heard the trumpet. Pierced ears? Now you know where it comes from; it is a sign of eternal slavery. Here is the type, everything in the old testament is a type or shadow of the new. Every scripture speaks about Jesus Christ.

Jesus was crucified and rose, and 50 days later at Pentecost, the Holy Spirit fell in the pillar of fire, divided itself up and rested upon the 120 and each was filled with the Holy Ghost. Jubilee was a type or shadow of Pentecost.

2 Thessalonians 2: 10 and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 and for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie.

Each and every soul was conceived in iniquity, born in sin, coming into the world speaking lies. We were all sold under slavery to sin, but Jesus Christ purchased us back with His own holy blood. But when we hear the trumpet, which is the message of the hour, and we reject that trumpet, then our earthly master, the devil, pierces our ears and we will never hear the word again. We become blind to it and no matter how many more times we hear the truth preached to us, we will never receive it. It is our choice, when our jubilee comes, when our Pentecost comes, we are given a choice to receive our freedom or reject it and become eternal slaves. That is sinning willfully, and that is our choice to make. That is our Kadesh Barnea.

The devil blinds the minds of people to spiritual things. When we hear the word and it does not fit our desires or our ideas and we reject it, the devil blinds us and deafens us with philosophy, with logic, dogma, and with religiousness. A religious spirit is the worst spirit to have. Look at Jesus’ day again. The Pharisees and the Scribes and the Sadducees all called Jesus the devil. He did mighty miracles in their midst even to the raising of the dead right in front of their eyes and they called Him the devil. They were schooled in the scriptures, in the letter of the law. They could quote to you every prophesy in the Bible concerning Jesus and here He was in their midst day and night fulfilling every single prophesy right before their eyes, exactly as it was written, and they could not see it!

Yet a little prostitute out in Samaria, one day by a well as she went to get some water, upon seeing one little miracle, said “sir I perceive you are a prophet”. One little miracle is all it took. Her eyes were opened! She saw with her eyes, heard with her ears and believed in her heart and she was changed. She accepted what she saw and heard. The religious types saw many times more miracles, rejected all of it, and didn’t see a single thing.

What are we saying about the word today? How are we receiving it? Do we see it? Are our eyes opened?

Isaiah 60: 1 Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. 2 For, behold the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people; but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.

Darkness upon the earth and gross darkness the people. Is that not today? The world is oblivious to the truth that is all around them. The people, the religious people, are completely oblivious to the truth around them. They are too busy in politics and business trying to get rich, popular and powerful. They are so busy building bigger churches and filling seats to get more and more money that they don’t have any time or concern for spiritual things. They spend so much time raising money and building their popularity and developing television and internet programs that they have no time left for the Lord God.

But in this scripture of condemnation of the world lies a beautiful, wonderful promise too. “The Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee”. Our eyes, our spiritual eyes, just have to be open to see it. God’s glory is shining right now. The pillar of fire is in the room with you, he promised to be where two or three are gathered in his name so he is in this room, and in your room right now, shining brighter that the sun.

When Elijah told Elisha “if you see me when I go you shall have what you ask”, do you think Elisha closed his eyes? His eyes were wide open. He was looking for the glory of God and he saw it. I bet he even blinked one eye at a time.

God promised in our day, the evening time, that there would be light, and in the last scripture that there would also be a gross darkness. And the darkness is not just in the world, it is in the churches and in message ranks too. With each day the darkness grows darker but the light also grows brighter. We are quickly approaching the day when the message would be preached to the lost.

We are told that in the very end the world would begin to receive the word but it would be too late. Once grace has been removed from the gentiles there will be no more reason for the devil to blind anyone to the doctrine of the message for there will be no grace to receive. And they will receive the doctrine free of grace  and not know it because they will be completely blind in total spiritual darkness. People will go on hearing the message and think they are getting saved and the whole time they are eternally lost and they won’t even know it because they will be completely spiritually blind. They will not receive the Word, just the letter of the message. And they won’t receive it because their eyes are opened, but because they were never opened. Sound strange?

Today people are receiving Luther’s message by the millions, Wesley’s message by the millions, but they reject today’s message. Luther was indeed a man of God sent with a message. Luther was more than a preacher, he was the messenger to his age, yet Luther’s message will not save you today. Wesley was the messenger to his age, yet Wesley’s message will not save you today either. In Moses day they accepted Noah’s message and died in the wilderness. In Jesus’ day they accepted Moses’ message and died in their sins. People are indeed receiving a message today. They are receiving yesterday’s message! They are eating yesterday’s manna and yesterday’s manna is rotten with worms.

And one day soon they will start accepting the Message of the Hour that was brought by the vindicated Word Prophet, the Elijah ministry of Malachi 4:5-6 and Revelation 10:7 manifested in the ministry of Brother William Branham. On that day, when you see that happen, you will know that it is too late and there is no more mercy on this earth for gentiles. The Seventh Church Age will be closed.

In order for the Message of This Hour to reach public acceptance, it has to have become the Message of Yesterday!

How will the foolish virgins know that they missed the rapture? They will see things happening that they will know come after the rapture. And how will they feel? How would we feel if we see things happen that we know are supposed to come after the rapture? If our eyes are open today we will not be caught off guard.

1 Thessalonians 5: 3 for when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. 4 But ye. Brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. 5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night nor of darkness. 6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. 7 For they that sleep, sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.

Don’t fall asleep! We are children of the day! We are all children of the day. We are not in darkness that the day should overtake us as a thief. The light is shining to them as well as to us. The light is shining to every person reading here. The light is shining to every person in your church, in your town. The light is shining to every person on this planet. The only difference between the Saved and the Lost is that the Saved have their eyes opened.

Each and every one of us was walking in total darkness at one point in our lives. Nobody is born saved, we are born-again saved! The physical birth creates a heathen, the spiritual birth creates a child of God.

Colossians 3: 6 For which things’ sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience: 7 In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.

We walked and lived according to the world and the lusts of the flesh and of the world until the Lord God came and opened our eyes to the truth. If our eyes are not opened we will continue to walk in complete darkness. If our eyes are not opened then according to what we read in Revelation, we will not even know it. Indeed we may be very religious, even preaching the gospel, but in total, complete darkness.

So not only do we have to ask ourselves whether or not our eyes are opened, we have to ask ourselves if we are even able to discern whether our eyes are opened. Quite the thought. How can we know if our eyes are opened? Thankfully the Bible does give an answer.

John 10: 27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them; and they follow me.

Do we hear his voice? Only his sheep can hear his voice. He knows them. Does Jesus know you, do you know him? Not just to know about him, but have you met him? Have you had an experience with him? Is he just a story book character? Do you just believe he exists, or do you know he exists? When their eyes were opened they KNEW him.

When our eyes are opened, we follow him. Not a religion, not a dogma, not a church, not a philosophy, not a doctrine, not a denomination, not a group, not a pastor, but we will follow Jesus Christ, the Word of God. Do you love him? Do you talk with him? Not just your daily duty prayer. But throughout the day, to you talk with him? Does he talk with you? Do you think on his word? Are you singing songs in your heart? Are you living the Word of God? Do we know Jesus Christ? Are we living for him?

1 John 2: 3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. 4 He that saith I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.

We know Him IF we keep His commandments. If we Keep (Greek: Tereo, to keep, to guard as in prison) his commandments. If we keep his words, his commandments, imprisoned in our hearts, guarded, then we know that we know him. Do you see it? It isn’t going to church, believing the message, following rules, it is to keep the word of God imprisoned in your heart. Never let it go. It is a precious treasure that you guard. And in order to keep it in our hearts it first has to get into our hearts, and if our hearts are blinded, that will never happen. We will just get the letter in our heads. And the letter killeth but the spirit bringeth life.

Jesus said “my words are spirit and life”. When we keep his words in our hearts, we have his life in our hearts. His life is eternal life. So in order for His eternal life to enter us, His words must enter our hearts and stay there. The letter cannot enter your heart. Only the Word, Logos, can enter your heart. The letter becomes the Word when the Holy Spirit of God quickens it and makes it come to life through revelation. When we hear the word it is just a letter, but when the Holy Spirit reveals that letter to our hearts, opens our eyes to see it, it then becomes a Living Word, Spirit and life eternal. When we hear the Word it is a letter to us, but when we accept that letter, when we believe that letter, then the Holy Spirit opens our eyes to it.

If our eyes are not opened we will never receive revelation on the Word and it will remain a dead letter to us no matter how much time we spend in church, how many tapes we listen to, how many tracts we read, how much we sing and shout and praise God, without Jesus opening our eyes we will never see it for what it really is.

John 14: 17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him; but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

God said “let my word be truth and all men be liars”. The spirit of truth is the Holy Spirit that reveals the truth, the Word of God, to us. The world cannot receive it because it does not see him. The eyes of the world are close, blinded by the devil, blinded by sin and unbelief, blinded by lust, blinded by greed, blinded by fear, blinded by hatred, blinded by self righteousness and pride. They cannot see because their eyes are closed, and they will never have their eyes opened because they do not want to have their eyes opened. They are happy being blind.

The Word is contrary to our flesh and it cuts us deep. If we live after the flesh we shall die but if we crucify our flesh with the lusts thereof, then we shall live. We are given a choice, to accept the Word or to reject the Word. It is not a matter of whether or not we understand it, but whether or not we believe it. If we believe it, then God will give us the understanding.

Jesus said if you do not drink my blood and eat my flesh you cannot be my disciple. Did the 12 understand what he said? No. Did the 12 believe what he said? Yes! They did not have a clue what Jesus was talking about but they believed it, and because they believed it, he opened their eyes to understand it. They kept his word and the Holy Spirit quickened that Word to them and made it alive. To the world it was one of the worst things he could have said, but to the children of God, it is still one of the most wonderful words he ever spoke. It is the Lord’s supper where we eat broken bread and drink wine to remember his bleeding and suffering, and dieing for our sins. And if our eyes are not opened, we won’t understand that today either.

The apostles asked Jesus why he spoke in parables. Why was everything given in story form? Why is the gospel hidden in metaphors and similes? Would it not be better for him to come straight with it so everyone would understand plainly?

Mark 4: 10 And when he was alone, they that were about him with the twelve asked of him the parable. 11 and he said unto them, unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables: 12 That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.

Can you see it? The ones that are without have no desire for the truth and so God will not open their eyes to see it. The truth, the mystery, is only for his Bride. All things are created so that God can reveal his attributes to his children. It is all about the Lord revealing himself, but he will not reveal himself to the devil. The serpent’s seed has no desire for truth, they are happy with religion. Cain was satisfied with an alter of fruits and vegetables, a man made religion, but Abel wanted more. Abel desired to know why, and God opened his eyes and revealed to him the reason for them being out of Eden, and thus Abel brought a more perfect sacrifice.

The religious world does not care about the truth for the truth is of no value to them. And because they don’t care about the truth, God will never reveal it to them. He only reveals the Word to his children. You can learn doctrine. Someone will come along and convince you into something, then someone smarter will come along the next day and convince you right out of it. That is where these dogmas come from, a lack of revelation. They do not have open eyes to the truth so they have to take guesses at what the Word really says, and the guesses will always lean towards their particular lusts. The devil is tugging away at them, giving his brand of “revelation”, intellectual reasoning, philosophy, psychology and logic so called.

Jesus said of them that “they are blind leaders of the blind and if the blind lead the blind they shall both fall in the ditch”. If you are blind you do not know where you are going. You need someone else to lead the way. But if the person who is leading you is as blind as you are, you will both wander in darkness with no hope. When our eyes are opened we will see, and when our eyes are opened, we shall follow Jesus. When our eyes are opened, and only when our eyes are opened, then we are led by Jesus, else we are led by men.

Ephesians 5: 6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. 7 Be not ye therefore partakers with them. 8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of Light:

Darkness and blindness are all we will have without Jesus Christ. Without the Holy Spirit, without revelation, without Jesus Christ we are in complete darkness, led by cunning men with vain words and craftiness, as it says in the 14th verse, lying in wait to deceive. They are stalking you, lying in wait, just like their daddy the serpent. They want to win you over to their side, to their church, to their camp. They are completely blind and want to lead you by the hand into the pit of hell with them! The Bible says to have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness but to reprove them.

Ephesians 5: 13 But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.

Jesus is the light. He will make manifest the truth. He will open our eyes to show us the truth. He will reveal it to us by his Holy Spirit. He will set all things in order. He will give us understanding. His Spirit will discern for us. But we first have to want it.

The two on the road to Emmaus wanted it. All they could talk about was Jesus. When He met them on the road they were ranting about Him. Then he spoke to them and their hearts burned within. They had a desire and he met that desire by opening there eyes. And once their eyes were opened, they could see him, and they knew him.

Do we see Him? Do we know Him? Do we see the godhead? Do we know who Jesus Christ is? Have we met him or are our eyes still closed? Is Jesus Christ leading you by His Holy Spirit this morning or are you still being led by men? Jesus broke the bread and opened their eyes. He is breaking the bread of life this morning. Are you hungry for it? Then he will open your eyes too.

The blind man was crying out “thou son of David have mercy on me”. He wasn’t mumbling or whispering. He shouted so loud that not only did they hear him over the noise of the crowd, but the whole crowd fell silent and stopped to look at him. Cry out today. Cry out so loud that the whole church stops to look at you. Cry so loud that the whole world stops. Do you want your eyes opened, cry out. Shout! If that blind man cried out as loud as we do hear in the church he would be still blind to his death. He was convinced and concerned. He was convinced that Jesus could heal him, and concerned to get his attention.

Are we convinced? Are we convinced that Jesus can open our eyes? Are we concerned to get his attention? Cry out! All those who whisper? CRY OUT! In the name of Jesus shall be saved. Call on the Lord. He is closer to you than your own breath. He will never fail and never be late. He promised to meet every need. But if our eyes are not open, then we will not have revelation on that promise, and without revelation, we cannot believe. Cry out for open eyes! Cry out for revelation! Cry out for Jesus.

Open my eyes Lord, I want to see Jesus.

We Walk by Faith

We Walk by Faith, Not by Sight

The notes to the sermon I ministered on Sunday. The Lord led me to say so much more than what is written here, as I minister for well over two hours on this topic, but the notes should get the point across.

2 Corinthians 5: (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)

Walking on waterWe don’t walk by sight. We don’t walk by understanding. We don’t walk by education. We don’t walk by tradition. We don’t walk be creed. We walk by faith.

What is faith?

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Faith is a substance. Substance, from the Greek word hypostasis, meaning the essence, the trust, the underlying foundation. Faith is the thing upon which hope is built. Hope in itself is powerless. The world has hope. But it does not trust in that hope. The world knows there is no future in empty hope. People hope to win a lottery. They hope to live to be 100. But deep down they know it will not happen. They have no faith.

If we have faith, we have the essence, the underlying strength and foundation of hope. We have the earnest, the proof. Faith is not some esoteric concept. It is a genuine, spiritual entity. Our faith is the very evidence of that which we hope for. What we hope for exists, and our faith in it is the proof of that existence, for our faith in the Word of God is real.

Our hope is grounded by our faith.

2 Thessalonians 3: And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith.

Some men do not have faith. This is an important concept. If some men do not have faith, then that brings up some questions we need to answer.

  1. Why do they not have faith?
  2. Did they ever have faith?
  3. How do we get faith?
  4. Can we get faith?
  5. Can we lose faith?

1 Timothy 4: Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

So we see that the men who do not have faith have actually departed from faith. If they departed from it then they must have first had it. There are three questions answered. But let’s make sure.

Romans 12: For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

So indeed all men are given faith. The Lord has given to “every man” a measure of faith. That means Cain had a measure of faith. Judas had a measure of faith. You have a measure of faith. I have a measure of faith. Or at least at some point in time, every man had a measure of faith. But we see that we can lose that faith if we depart from it. So we can lose it, but we have to make the decision to lose it. What kind of decision would make us lose faith? How did Cain lose faith?

Matthew 25: 14 For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods. 15 And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey. 16 Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents. 17 And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two. 18 But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord’s money. 19 After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them. 20 And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more. 21 His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. 22 He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them. 23 His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. 24 Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed: 25 And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine. 26 His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed: 27 Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury. 28 Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents. 29 For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath. 30 And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

The Lord went away. And the Lord gave to every man a measure of faith. That is what a talent is, a measure. And the Lord meted that measure according to the man’s ability. The Bible says that we will not be tempted greater than what we are able to bear and that the Lord will always make a way of escape. We get a measure of faith based on our ability to deal with it. To some he gave great mountain moving faith, to others, just a mustard seed of mountain moving faith.

Here we get another question answered. Some of the men took their talents and put them to work and gained more talents in return. If we put our faith to work, if we invest it properly, we will get more measures in return. So how do we put our faith to work? There are three ways.

Romans 10: 17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

The very first place to invest our faith is in hearing the word of God. Not hearing the words of man. Not in hearing a lecture. Not in hearing philosophy, or psychology, or creed, or dogma, or tradition, or stories. The first place to invest our faith, the place that will give us the greatest and quickest return on our investment, it to apply that faith to hearing the Word of God, the Revealed Word of God for the Hour. That is where you will gain faith. That is where you will double your measure. Hear the word of God!

Hebrews 4: For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.

Unto us was the word of God preached. Unto them was the word of God preached. But it must be mixed with faith! We can sit and listen to preaching, we can sit at Jesus feet day and night for three and a half years, listen to him preach the word, and it would not profit us one bit if we do not invest our measure of faith into it. Judas is our prime example.

But in our age, look  how many have fallen away lately. They sat with us. They fellowshipped at our houses. They were baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. They took the bread and wine at the Lord’s table! They sat and listened to preaching. They listened to tapes and can quote those tapes better than you and I combined. Some were even preaching this message! And they fell away! They are gone out into the world. They are gone out into denominationalism and trinitarianism. They have received the Mark of the Beast and don’t even know it! They are spiritually dead never to return! And it is all because when they heard the word of the Lord God, when they heard the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, when they heard the message of the hour, it was not mixed with faith! They failed to invest that measure of faith.

They have nobody to blame. They were given a measure of faith! Every single one of them was given a measure of faith, a talent of faith by the Lord Jesus Christ. Do you know how big a talent is? A talent of silver is 6,000 day’s pay. A talent of Gold is 180,000 day’s pay. The Lord was not cheap with them, nor with us. Every soul here was given at least one talent, some five talents, some ten talents.

What are you doing with that talent? Are you investing it? Or are you burying it?

The second way to invest your faith is to live it. Act upon God’s word. It is one thing to believe, it is quite another to live it.

James 2: 14 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, 16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? 17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. 18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. 19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. 20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?

Faith without works is dead. Many will say that salvation is of faith and not of works. Amen! And they will also say, correctly that works don’t bring salvation. And again they will say that works don’t bring faith. Amen! But Faith will bring Works! If we truly believe and apply our measure of faith to that which we believe, that which we have heard of the Lord, then our faith will bring works in our lives.

John 10: 25 Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father’s name, they bear witness of me.

John 10: 37 If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not. 38 But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.

Jesus himself tells us plainly that we can know who he is by his works. His works show his faith. His works show who and what he is. And again he tells us:

Matthew 7: 16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. 21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

By our fruit, by our works, we are known. We are not knows by our doctrines. We are not known by our testimonies. We are known by our fruit. We are known by our lives! Our works tell the whole world who and what we are, just as they told the whole world who and what Jesus was. The prophet once said I can’t hear your testimony because your life is speaking way too loud! Your works, my works, they tell the entire world who we are. As James wrote, with my works I show you my faith. Faith brings works. Without works our faith is dead for the fruit of the spirit is the works of the spirit. If a tree is dead, it does not bear fruit. If our faith is dead, there will be no works of faith in our lives.

Let us take a nice Biblical example to vet this out. Abraham. Everyone knows his story to some degree. He was an old man. The Lord came to him and made him a promise to give him a land and innumerable children etcetera. Now Abraham believed God. He absolutely believe the Word of God, the message of his hour. But what good would that have done him to believe and not put it to work? Believing was great. But it was when he mixed it with faith and put it into action that he received the promise.

Abraham could have believed every word and not acted upon it. We just read that the devils believe, and they certainly don’t act upon it. And Abraham, or Abram because the name change was part of the promise, would have died a childless, vagrant in the land of Ur.

Continuing on with James.

James 2: 21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? 22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?

Abraham believed every Word. Abraham mixed that word he heard with faith and it produced works. The works were the evidence that he had faith in what he had heard. What are our works?

The third way to invest our faith is to build upon it. Faith is the substance and the evidence. It is also the foundation. We absolutely need faith before we can move on spiritually. If we don’t have faith, we just read, it does not profit us one bit.

2 Peter 1: And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. 10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:

Faith is the foundation stone. All these other things are added to our faith. When we invest faith in our lives, in the word of God, in serving the Lord, we will add virtue to that faith. Then when virtue forms on our faith, we add knowledge, and then temperance, patience, godliness, brotherly kindness and finally Agape Love.

This is preaching to the saved! Notice Peter says if we fail at this it is because we have forgotten that we were purged from our old sins. Those who fail at this are foolish virgins. They have faith, they are purged, but they fail to add to the faith. Faith is just the beginning!

So we see that we must have faith. We see that we were all given a measure of faith. We see that we can lose our faith if we depart from it. We see that hearing the word of God gives us more faith if we mix that word we hear with faith. We see that faith in the word will bring the works, or the fruit of the spirit. And we see that if we don’t have the fruit, it is a sign that our faith is dead and buried, like the man with only one talent. We see also that faith is the evidence of things not seen, the essence of our hope.

So now let us go a step deeper. What exactly is faith and how exactly does it work?

Solomon's Temple
Solomon’s Temple. Outer and Inner Courts guarding the Holiest of Holies.

The human being is a triune creature. We have a body, a soul and a spirit. We are living temples of the Lord God. The temple has an outer court, and inner court, and a holy of holies.

We connect with this physical world through five senses. That is our outer court. They are hearing, seeing, feeling, tasting and smelling. With these five sense we connect to the third dimension. We see someone in front of us. We hear them speak. We feel their handshake. That is the outside. We receive information from the outer court of our being through those five channels. And we can’t depend on them. They are outer. The devil will use those against us every time. Oh I feel sick. Oh it looks horrible. Oh it sounds terrible, or sweet, which ever way the devil is trying to trick you. Those are outer court events. Pain, sickness, hunger, are all outer court events. God does not deal through your outer court.

We have five senses that deal with our emotional realm. Conscience, memory, passion, affection, imagination are the senses of the inner court of your being. They can be just as easily tricked. They deal with the mind, the soul of the man. That is the inner court. You don’t imagine with the flesh. You don’t have affections in the flesh. Those are inside of you.

But then we get to the altar. We get beyond the veil. We get to the heart of the man. The veil hangs between the holy and the Holiest of Holies. Inside there is where the spirit of the Living God wants to dwell. Inside there is where Christ comes to sit on the mercy seat.

That is where Christianity is seated. We don’t become Christians in the outer court. We don’t become Christians in the flesh by attending Church service. We don’t become Christians by shaking hands. We don’t become Christians by reciting creeds. We don’t become Christians by speaking in tongues. Those are outer court events.

Nor do we become Christians by believing. We don’t become Christians by accepting creeds, or dogmas. We do not become Christians by believing the message. That’ll sting. Who believes and trembles? The devil! And he ain’t no Christian! Those are inner court events! Those are Old Testament events. Christ doesn’t dwell there! He is the High Priest! He has gone beyond the veil and sits in the Holiest of Holies.

1 Corinthians 12: 13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

Does it say by one doctrine? Does it say by one denomination? Does it say by one preacher? Does it say by one organization? NO! By one spirit we are all baptized into one body! By one Spirit. By the Holy Spirit! When we are filled with the Holy Spirit, the Lord Jesus Christ comes and takes his seat in the Holiest of Holies. He breaks open the veil of our heart and takes his rightful position on the throne.

And how do we get that? It is to whomsoever will. All we have to do is want it, and apply our faith to the word that we hear. Act upon it in faith. When we hear Acts 2:38-39 that tells us to repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, we mix that word with the measure of faith that we were given and the fruit of the spirit, the act of water baptism takes place. We believe, we apply faith, and the Lord responds. Repent! Tear down the veil of your heart and let him in! Tear down the curtains of your own will and give place to the King of Kings in your heart! Apply your faith!

Then the Lord Jesus Christ will sit on the judgment seat in your heart. I knew a woman, nominal Christian, Pentecostal type. When she heard the message she rejected it. Then met some guy and got into an adulterous relationship with him. I ran into her a few months after that had happened and she said it didn’t bother her one bit to do it. Why didn’t bother her? Christ was not sitting on the judgment seat in her heart! It was empty.

When Jesus takes that place, you become a different person. Your flesh tells you to go do something you used to do, and something in your heart condemns you. You can’t do it now. That something is the Holy Spirit of God, the Spirit of Jesus Christ enthroned in you.

But if you live like the devil on Saturday, and sing like an angel on Sunday, and it don’t bother you one bit, then I would wager that Christ simply isn’t in you yet. You might be purged of your old sins. But that judge has not taken his seat. Jesus Christ is missing.

But when Jesus is there you have a sacrifice on the altar. You have a place to go. You have a representation in Heaven. You have a mediator. You have an intercessor. You have a kinsmen redeemer who shed his own blood for your sins. You have a high priest in the Holiest of Holies. And you die daily for it is not you living any more, it is Jesus Christ the Lord of Glory living in you. You are a wild branch that has been grafted into the vine. His life in you bears the fruit. The works that he did will you do also because he is in you working through you.

Faith is the sixth sense. It is independent of all the others. We cannot see faith, nor hear it. Nor can we imagine it. It is completely independent. It is in the domain of the Holiest of Holies. The five senses were given us to contact the physical world. The five emotional senses were given us to control the mind. But Faith, that was given to touch the Soul, that is the only channel that the Lord God uses. Sure you will see visions. You will hear the Word. But without being mixed with Faith, it will not profit us. Balaam saw visions.

We either have faith, or doubt. Faith will contact the Holy Spirit. Doubt will block that contact. Doubt is unbelief. Doubt block the channel to God and thus separates us from God. What separates us from God? Sin.

Hebrews 11: But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

The only sin is unbelief! Without faith it does not matter what we say or do, we cannot please the Lord God. All our best intentions, all our righteous acts, all our loving, compassionate deeds, all the schools and hospitals we build, all the prisoners we visit, all the sick we attend, all the missions we go on, all the money we tithe and offer, all the children we love, will not and cannot please the Lord unless it is done in faith.

Everything else is an attribute of sin. Why did that woman I mentioned enter into that relationship? Why did it not bother her? Unbelief! Had she believed then she would never have done it, and if she did, she would have repented. But it did not bother her because she had no faith. And she had no faith because she departed from the faith and rejected the Lord.

Take Eve for an example. What was her sin? We would say adultery, but we know that adultery is an attribute of sin. Eve, like the woman I mentioned, did that because she did not believe. She heard the message of the hour preached to her by Adam, but that word was not mixed with faith. Before she ever touched the serpent, before she could believe his lie, she first had to disbelieve the word of God. It is the same for us today. Before you commit that act, before you accept a lie, you must first disbelieve the word of God.

Romans 14: 23 And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

Whatsoever is not of faith is sin. Without Faith as we just read it is impossible to please the Lord. So now we see it in its full light. There it is. Sin is unbelief. Sin is the absence of faith. So if we build schools, churches and hospitals, if we donate to missions, no matter what we do, or how we do it, if it is not done in faith it is sin.

Brother are you saying it is sinful to build a hospital to help the sick? No I am not saying that, God is saying that. Whatsoever we do without faith is sin! If we come to church without faith, it is sin. If we sing a special without faith, it is sin. If we take the Lord’s supper without faith, it is sin. Whatsoever is not of faith, is sin! Jesus said so himself.

Matthew 7: 21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

We sin when we depart from the faith. After we sin, then we commit the acts that we call sin. When we act without faith, it is sin, and our actions will be iniquity unto the Lord.

Let’s look at a carnal example to see where sin starts.

Imagine you go to your friend’s house. You sit on his couch and you notice a $20 bill in the cushion. You quickly look around and see that nobody is watching and you pocket that bill. That is theft. But what was the actual sin and when did it occur? You would have had to first disbelieve that the Lord was watching and taking notes. You would have had to then disbelieve that while you were doing it and thinking nobody was watching, that the Lord could have been showing the whole event to you buddy in a vision in the next room. You would also have to disbelieve that the payment that you would pay would be far greater than $20.

So when did the sin really happen? Was it the Sunday before when the preacher was pounding against sin and you thought, “maybe, Maybe not”. Was it on Monday when you had a tape on and the prophet said something so bizarre you couldn’t understand it so you passed it off? You plant an apple seed and harvest seven years later. Sin is the same. The seed of unbelief must be planted, and grow and then it bears fruits. By our fruits they will know us! And it does not matter how religious we are, without faith, it is all sin.

Yet, where there is faith, there is thus no sin.

1 John 3: Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

Whosoever is born of God, whosoever is born again, whosoever is filled with the Holy Spirit, does not commit sin. Whosoever is born of God does not commit, unbelief! We will make mistakes till the day we leave this world. We will trip and fall daily, somehow, somewhere. That is why we die daily. But we do not commit SIN! We do not disbelieve the Word of God! Sin is unbelief. Unbelief is the opposite of Faith. When we disbelieve the word of God, then we do all those things of our flesh. Smoking, gambling etc are not sins, they are the fruit of sin. But the spirit behind those actions is unbelief. The real sin is the unbelief that leads us to act that way.

That is why all those who did what we would call good works, building hospitals, churches etc, without faith, did it all in sin. That is why the Lord called all their great and wonderful works, iniquity. Who is Timothy talking about  here?

2 Timothy 3: Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

They are religious. They have a form, a tradition, a creed, a doctrine of godliness, yet without faith. All their godliness is iniquity. Their very religion is sin! Faith is not a tradition. Faith is not a doctrine. Faith is not logic. Faith is not understanding. Faith is not intellectual. Faith is not physical. Faith is not emotional. Faith is spiritual! Faith does not require intelligence. Faith does not require an education. Faith does not require time.

John 6: 66 From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him. 67 Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away? 68 Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life. 69 And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.

Did Peter or the other 11 have a clue of what Jesus was talking about here? There were just as mystified as the 70 that just turned and left. They were completely clueless. They had no intellectual understanding of it. They were not educated to it. They did not have time to make it a tradition. But they believed it. They had faith. They had no understanding of it, but they still had faith in that word. And they confessed their faith.

Faith is solely in the domain of the soul, in the Holiest of Holies. It is through faith that we contact the Lord. It is through Faith that he contacts us.

Now it is time to take the rest of Hebrews chapter 11.

Hebrews 11: By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went. By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise: 10 For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God. 11 Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised. 12 Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable. 13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. 14 For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country. 15 And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned. 16 But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city. 17 By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, 18 Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called: 19 Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure. 20 By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau concerning things to come. 21 By faith Jacob, when he was a dying, blessed both the sons of Joseph; and worshipped, leaning upon the top of his staff. 22 By faith Joseph, when he died, made mention of the departing of the children of Israel; and gave commandment concerning his bones. 23 By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months of his parents, because they saw he was a proper child; and they were not afraid of the king’s commandment. 24 By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter; 25 Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; 26 Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward. 27 By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible. 28 Through faith he kept the passover, and the sprinkling of blood, lest he that destroyed the firstborn should touch them. 29 By faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry land: which the Egyptians assaying to do were drowned. 30 By faith the walls of Jericho fell down, after they were compassed about seven days. 31 By faith the harlot Rahab perished not with them that believed not, when she had received the spies with peace. 32 And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets: 33 Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions. 34 Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. 35 Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection: 36 And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment: 37 They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented; 38 (Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth. 39 And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise: 40 God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.

They without us could not be made perfect. We need that same faith. We need rapturing faith. The prophet admonished us in 1950 when he said If we haven’t got faith enough for healing of our bodies, how you going to go in the rapture? ‘Cause this mortal must take on immortality”
50-0808 – Healing And What Sickness Is
The faith that heals us, is the faith that delivers us, is the faith that saves us, is the faith that raptures us. Get rapturing faith! Faith is the only avenue through which the Lord will deal with us. You and I cannot come to the Lord through a man, not even a prophet. We cannot do it through a church. We cannot do it through a doctrine. We cannot do it through a tradition. The one and only avenue to contact the Lord and to have him contact you, to receive anything from him is faith. And every single person was given a measure so in the end we will have no excuse.

Matthew 9: 20 And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment: 21 For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole. 22 But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.

What made that woman whole? Was it because she touched his robe? Was it because he spoke to her? What made him speak to her? The thing that made him speak to her is the thing that healed her. It was not the body of Jesus Christ for we are told that he was thronged by people. She contacted him through faith, and he spoke back to her and healed her through her faith. He said it himself “thy faith hath made thee whole”.

Does anyone need to be made whole this hour? Is anyone sick, in pain, oppressed? Does anyone have a need of any kind? Ignore what you see. Ignore what you feel. Trust only in the Word of God. Touch him through Faith. Reach out and touch him. Mix your faith with this blessed word of God and touch him. Reach out in faith right now and be made whole.

Walk by FAITH!
